This game book has a lot more action and a breadth of choices than some of the others. The element of the slaves revolting and all this happening on a tropical island was an added strength. If you are still undecided and wanted to try one, I suggest Island of the Lizard King.
Loved it at first but got to an area where its impossible for me to get past. Why would I want to read half a book and then start again. I know its not supposed to be easy but when everything relys on chance it's just unfair.
One of the few (very few) that I never got the chance to read in school, but definitely one of the best. Only complaint is that it can be completed just by rushing to the end; as long as you know where to find the Key Items on your way.
One of the first FF books I've played, and it's still good, even if it isn't among the best (that goes to books like Deathtrap Dungeon and City of Thieves). The adaptation is flawless.
I never managed to get a hold of this book back in the day, so it's great to be able to finally play it. Great job, thanks!
easily one of my favorite Fighting Fantasy books - now if they would only put out Deathtrap Dungeon and Warlock of Firetop Mountain....

Brings back memories...this was the first FF book I ever read and it got me hooked on the series. Can't wait for the rest of them! TinMan Games has done another outstanding job in making this gamebook.
This was my first FF as a kid. This version is just as good. Would recommend to any fans of the genre. The achievements idea is a nice touch. Can we have Trial of Champions next please?

My favourite out of the original FF books, IOTLK is a fast paced jungle adventure. Well balanced story with Livingstone creating a wonderfully detailed environment to make ways through. Can't wait for the upcoming Bloodbones!!

This was one of my favorite FF books as a kid, and this is even better. But, where is "warlock of Firetop mountain" or "Deathtrap Dungeon"? those were the best ones!

Amazing I had the original books as a child and led me to draw and take art at GCSE in turn fine art at college and finally Design and Technology at university all steamed from the imagination fun and graphics of these Books brought back to life as apps amazing please do more and number the digital books :) I'd love to see and buy the whole collection ;)

More adventure from the world of fighting fantasy, this is a great title with plenty of action, sword wielding lizard men, giant beasties, shamen magic and even a monkey! Having loads of fun playing these, please release more soon!
This app (and others) cannot no longer be found by searching, or by looking at all Tin Man Games. I can only find it by going back to my purchase library. Please check that your games are availible for purchase!
