Survive the brutal trek east with your tribe in this bloody stone age action role playing game. Judge every encounter in these foreign lands and plan your attacks against beasts, cannibals and warring tribesman. I love this game. The tribes actually feel different enough from one another, the graphics are pixel perfect and the mechanics of the game itself are awesome. Very addicting once you get going. Really hope the developer keeps updating and adding things.
EDIT: just faced the queen of maggots and it stopped taking damage at around 20% hp and was invincible please fix. This game was incredibly original and fun to play, though a little short (why even have an ending? Keep making it harder or different procedurally!). I would absolutely love to see new features and updates to it and that would keep me coming back to it. Overall a very fun game and excellent value. Five stars and great job.
its tough. I know that's the point but its TOUGH. You really need to know what your doing in any battle because most enemies are actually strong, and boss fights, ha, well, hope you have a son so you can die then walk through because I have YET to beat a single boss. Yet, I keep going back. Every game is different, and I find myself using different strategies every time, depending on what I'm up against. Definitely a 4.5, but the playstote only allows whole numbers, so, 4, because 5 is too perfect.
Really nice looking with flashes of brilliance. The controls however, are awful. I died far too many times because of them. I seemed to get used to them a bit after a little while and despite the games difficulty (it is unforgiving to the extreme) and getting extremely frustrated I was intrigued to keep playing. The ending is mind blowing, unexpected genius or a complete let down depending on your PoV. With better controls and a bit more variety and length in gameplay, this could be a hit.
Works pretty well on the Nexus 5. All in all a fantastic action RPG with some great art style and mechanics. I'd love to see what a second iteration would be like! Feedback for the devs... - Controls need some work: virtual joystick size should be configurable - confirmation when you are buying a skill and how much they cost - sometimes you stand over items but the icon never highlights to allow you to pick it up or it's really finicky where you stand your character
Most of the reviews I see on here are spot on. A lot of people say the fault is controls or "lag/freezes". To be honest this game run smoothly on my Samsung Note 3. No control problems and it runs smooth. Sounds like the lag/freezes are just due to older phones that cannot handle it. The game over all really cool. They have brought back that old school feel and the permadeath keeps the game exciting! With procedurally generated islands even if I do die I can just start over and not have to worry about seeing the same place twice. Good job you guys.. cannot wait to see your PC game your coming out with.
Played all the way through the game on my 6th or so attempt. Didn't even unlock the 3rd tier of upgrades before the credits rolled. Game gets really easy once you learn to just spam the caltrops and swing. Is the game really this short? It is admirable that there's no IAPs... I bumped up an extra star for that.
I also ran into an invincible queen of the maggots... other than that im loving this quite a lot. Devs please do more playtesting/patching and this will be a solid 5 star game

I finish this game. The final boss is the space station? Interesting!! it is great about the design. I should give you five stars but it still have some problems. Could you let this game which can support the 360 or ps3 Joysticks? I annoyed on the touch screen control. It isn't sensible when I try to make some advance controls. Also I know that your company focuses on the new projects. I am looking forward to that game. Thank you for your good job.

Looked quite promising and with a lot to offer but it feels arcade and beta. 2 bugs in my first run: Queen of the maggots invincible and couldn't get skills. Cons: Repetition, dull exploration mode, dull village mode.
It's quite unique and has a great look and feel. If you like action rpg's with an interesting twist I recommend. Remember if you do die or come across a bug, force close the app to reload from your raft ;)
Fun to play. Good art. Load times are a little long. It would be nice if more of the ui element would roll over or highlight when tapped.
From what little I could play this game was great. It keeps force closing for no reason at random times. Makes the game virtually unplayable. I really hope you guys fix it soon so I can play though the whole thing.
It's good to see a game that isn't only challenging in combat but in decision making as well. I love it, permadeath is great as well.
This should not be considered a final product given the state of the game and the lack of optimization for control. The cursor is atrocious and needs lots of work. Fun but very buggy.
Do they even update this anymore? You can still float over islands and the last totem in not reachable. After getting third totem u r forced to the last level. I've beat this game 50+ times in various ways and level order. Please fix this I want the last totem.

Terrible. It is too buggy right now for permadeath. Cave man can't hit a thing, not even register a miss. One star until there's some serious fixes and becomes playable.
I've bought games and not necessarily regretted it, but I have had moments of disappointment. This is a game I bought because the screen looked cool and it was 99ยข. I've spent the last week searching everywhere for similar games just to continue getting my Bxnes fix. Responsive. Can't stress that enough. You feel "in the game", and it looks amazing.
