Get Cash

Get Cash enables you to withdraw money without using your bank card. It is a great option for those times when you need small amounts of cash but don't have your debit card on you.

You must have at least £10 available funds in your account (including your overdraft facility). You can use this service up to twice a day but can only have one cash code at any one time. Each code expires after three hours. The amount you ask for needs to be within the daily withdrawal limit for your debit card.

Create Standing Orders

Create Standing Orders allows you to set up a regular payment to an existing payee, where you have made your first payment using Online Banking, a utility company or one of your own accounts.Pay a person or bill

You can make one off payments up to £250 a day to anyone using their sort code and account number. If you are making payments that exceed the daily limit then you should set up the payee and make your first payment using Online Banking.

Pay Your Contacts

As a personal customer you can use Pay Your Contacts to pay someone from our app using just their mobile number. To use this service your contact must have either:

• the Isle of Man Bank, NatWest, RBS or Ulster Bank Mobile Banking app or;• be registered for Paym

To send a payment, simply choose a contact on your phone or type in a mobile number then enter a message and the amount you want to send. Where the payee is using one of our apps or is registered for Paym, the funds should reach their account instantly. You can send up to £250 a day.

Pay Your Contacts payment limits are independent of daily withdrawal and Get Cash limits.

HOW TO REGISTER

To use the Isle of Man Bank Mobile Banking app you need to be an Isle of Man Bank personal or business customer, be registered for Online Banking, be aged 11 or over and have a mobile telephone number starting with 07.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, registering is simple. All you need is your Online Banking customer number, PIN and password and you can use the app immediately.

The app is very handy. I have only one suggestion. After setting a transfer ready for some date, it would be good to be able to see what transfers I have set. I tend to forget if I have set a certain transfer on not.

It's really easy to use and the get cash function can be really handy. The only downside I've found is that it goes down for service reason for about an hour around 1AM which is not a problem for me often but there's a few times where I've needed to use the get cash function whilst out late and can't.

Works well for a single business account. Improssible to see two business accounts whatever the say. Telephone helpline does not answer. Deposit cheque fussy but works. Automatic helper nothing more than a list of FAQs. Could do better!

There system is outdated they loose pending transactions and can't access the info to retrieve ur hard earned money, very dissatisfied with the service, I wouldn't recommend using this banking system what so ever there 20 years behind at least with the technology they are using

Since the recent update, the app now shows 'Error 04 Security check failed' every time you open the app. The only option is to press OK, which then closes the app. Ridiculous.

Stuck on a loop in log in. app won't let me use my fingerprint and asks me to use my pin. once I type my pin it then tells me that I can't use my fingerprint and so on. can't sign into app at all. I've even tried turning off my finger scanner but still same problem.

The clear, missing element is the ability to now deposit cheques in the app. A number of the Banks now offer this and so it is a need rather than a nice to have with the closure of so many branches.
