IsoKeys

IsoKeys™ is an isomorphic musical keyboard. All intervals, chords, and scales have identical patterns, regardless of the key in which one plays. Similar in spirit to Musix for the iPad, IsoKeys provides a starter isomorphic keyboard to Android users.
Pianists, and many other instrumentalists, spend much time working on rudimentary elements like scales. Isomorphic keyboards promise to reduce the time required for you to move from beginner to expressive musician.

Isomorphic (also known as "consistent-interval") keyboards are easier for many people to learn than piano keyboards. Theoretically, they reduce the time required to learn scales, chords, intervals, and arpeggios by more than 92%. This is because on an isomorphic keyboard, once the fingering for, say, an individual major scale is mastered, this same fingering pattern may immediately be used to play any major scale. Instead of 12 major scales to learn, isomorphic keyboardists only need to learn one. Instead of twelve minor-seventh chords, only one. Instead of twelve variants of any technical exercise, isomorphic keyboardist need learn only one.

We currently support Sonome (Harmonic Table), Jammer (Wicki-Hayden), and Janko layouts. IsoKeys is polyphonic on devices that support multitouch.

With the purchase of the "OSC/MIDI over WiFi" feature, you may use IsoKeys as a MIDI controller to drive your sequencer of software synthesizer. You may also purchase a feature to turn off the banner advertisements that are present in the free version of the app.

IsoKeys delivers the power of isomorphic keyboards to all Android users. But some patience is needed upfront. There are a lot of buttons, including redundant buttons, in IsoKeys. Take your time and let the patterns emerge.

Completely useless. Only sounds about half the time. Bought the $5 upgrade hoping I could change the soundfont and make it work. Still can't change the soundfont, still not working.

Interesting idea to emulate Axis49/64 keyboard. However there are no single finger chords. Menu is not accessable.

Unusable on Android 6.0.1. It has the same problems as Hexiano: no release time, and some notes don't work

Was a great app, unfortunately notes can fail to play when touched more than once in a row. Started after updating to Marshmallow - hope it's fixed.

Only one tone, not even implemented well, bad clicking sounds at the end of each note, doesnt have decay options or any other customization.

I love this app! I still use it all the time. I hope the dev continues to work on it! Does seem to be some issues with Marshallow with the notes not always sounding. Nexus 6

Apparently you can't get to the menu on a Samsung Galaxy S2. No way to reach it without an external menu button? In any case, I am stuck with one layout, and the keys are too small, and no way to change either.

Glitchy AF. How about you finish an app before posting it to the app store?

Works really well on my Droid RAZR M. Sounds good. I want to try it as a MIDI controller, but this is apparently only available on Amazon. Can you get this onto Google Play? Thanks.
