TR id/Ikamet is required, so non-turkish residents are unable to use this app. Imterface of top-up not user-friendly, NFC top-up is working occasionally, but in total it works and if you have Ikamet, you can avoid queues to top-up machines. Приложение доступно только резидентам Турции, для регистрации нужен икамет или гражданство. С икаметом, турецким телефоном и карточкой местного банка работает через раз. Надо прикладывать как минимум дважды истанбулкарт, чтобы поездка записалась

It doesn't work without Turkish phone number. Also it was a puzzle how to add a phone number at all, as the app shows just one picture without any menu.

As a tourist it doesn't seem to work with my phone number. It allows you to select your country code and enter your number, but won't go past that screen.

You can't use this app without foreigner ID (some local issued ID) and without local mobile number. Definitely not for tourists.

Didn't get past the load screen. And I couldn't pay with credit card at the Metro station. Very poor experience for a visitor.

Not working at all. At the beggining the app asks for mobile number, but doesn't go to the next page.

Terrible app. It needs some foreign citizen Id to be registered. How you can get that Id? You should be resident of Turkey!! Not for tourists.

What a problematic app. I repetadly get errors relating to personal information and phone number. I will try to fix it and lose time just because of the unnecessary or unconvenient checks that app uses. Please provide better quality and fix this problem.

Does not work on rooted device while multiple banking apps have no problems with root.

I am unable to change my anonymous card with Blue card. I tried through mobile app and even through website but after verifying and acknowledging terms and conditions, when I press NEXT then it gives error "kpsservicesoff". I tried many times but same result. Please suggest me what the solution. For this reason I am unable to use your mobile app and website I am unable to use your app. As it gives error message [localization: kpsservicesoff] . Kindly resolve

The phone number has to be entered to use the app, but there are only four country codes (Turkey, Syria, Iranian, China) available to choose.

I can't top up my digital istanbulkart. I think there's some error, it's not accepting my bank card.

As a foreigner and a student I want to put an English review, hoping this would help a little bit for non-Turkish speakers. A really good update over the old one. The UI looks really nice now and in top of that a lot of new features and customization added. Opinion might be different for other people but for the one who used the old version, this is by far superior. Some of new features are not fully optimized yet, but I'm pretty sure some updates will come eventually.

App does not load, using pixel 3 on android 12, visiting Istanbul in July, hope its fixed by then!

It mostly crashes than function. You can load funds to your physical/digital public transportation card, but they charge extra processing fees which doesn't make it much attractive. You can easily use most of the TR bank apps i.e. maximum app or fastpay app and do it for free (currently). God forbid you forget your physical card you can't transfer funds to the digital version, but must add funds directly to it with fees. Getting a new physical card costs 10TL currently. Very cumbersome, useless.

I have suffered many problems with this app. I called 153 to solve the problem, they told me to go to their office, I went there and they said (we don't know how to solve it). If you don't, then who knows??? My digital card doesn't work! And know I can't login to the app anymore 😕

Awful, can't even get past the initial login because they never send the sms to my two numbers. Even on my wife's phone or on Google Voice. Useless app

Even banking apps don't need nor use anti-root measures, I don't get what they're trying to do.

This app is a joke. I tried to get into it. Entered my info and kept receiving a 5-code message, meanwhile the app says 6 codes. Y'all ain't ready. Lol

I don't know what kind of app they have made. At very start procedures, it says error "kpsserviceoff". And when I read the comments, this problem has been existed since many months before, even in min-2021, and still the problem exists, but no one from the developer team tries to solve this bolshit error. Therefore, 1 star rating is more than really the application worth.

Unless you are either a Turkish citizen or a foreign resident, it is impossible to create an account to use this app. Being neither of these, I am unable to use the app at all, and cannot rate it any higher than one star. A half star would be closer to accurate. This app cannot be used by frequent (or infrequent) visitors to Turkey who want to maintain their İstanbulkart, check the balance, top it up prior to arrival for convenience, etc. A glaring oversight which I hope the creators will find a way to rectify soon. If there IS a way to do this and I'm just overlooking it, please let me know and I'll happily adjust the rating accordingly.
