I've been using iTunes on my computer for a very long time to organize my music, and when I made the switch to android mobile devices over 5 years ago, I went looking for something that would allow me to use those playlists. iSyncr has worked wonderfully, and I've been using it for many years. Let's me chose where (internal or sd) I want my music saved and what playlists I want to bring over. I've never had a problem using it, and really appreciate the consistency and convenience.
It's the best thing out there to solve the problem of syncing iTunes to Android, but it's not really reliable. This is the only app I've ever paid for because of what it promised. I just wish it was more streamlined. I've had this app for years, but on and off there have been many problems. It's very slow when syncing over WiFi or USB, and I thought it was just my old smartphone, but maybe not. I've only ever gotten play counts to sync once for short time with my old phone. I've had this thing freeze and refuse to recognize the desktop app more often than not both over usb and wifi. Checking both the Music playlist and the Library playlist to sync just puts my whole library on my phone twice over taking up x2 the space on my phone, and putting unnecessary ware and tare on the storage drives when I try to delete 1/2 of it. Don't know why both those folder options exist. It's kind of unclear what they are for.
*** Thanks Justin. Reinstalled the app and both problems cleared. No idea how I managed to install the free version. *** I'm using the most recent version (5.14.94) and it has just developed 2 issues. The first is that the app tells me that "we are moving everyone to a single iSyncr." I checked it out and despite having bought the pro version for this app, it appears that you have to buy the new one. Since I am happy with the current app (at least I was), I would continue using it. However, it has developed an interesting problem. It will only let me add one item at a time. If I select another one, it deselects the first one. Tried reinstalling the license but did not help. I've been a longtime user and until this, it has worked very well.
Amazing - One of the first apps I bought when I got a Samsung phone as iTunes doesn't play nice with anything except Apple products. Faultless app. I do have problems with the sync on the samsung music app as the app doesn't refresh or display my correct playlists. I guess that's the music app fault not iSyncr. Amazing job!
Been using this app for a while now. All playlists sync accurately. Had a minor issue few weeks ago and reached out to the team. They're quick to respond and are very friendly. Using the same app on several android devices. No more issues. Hands down worth every penny.
i am using this app for a long time now it is very important to me .... last two days i upgraded my mac to OS X 14 "Mojave" then it is stopped syncing any more saying files is not copyable files this is very strange because i can play that files from iTunes USB OR WIFI ... i don't know what is happening and i am syncing well from my old system same library ?????? please Help.
This is an update on a moan I had a short while ago, which may in some small way have been my fault😕anyway, this pro version is worth every penny, I've been using it for years, I still rate iTunes as a music library, just don't do iPhone, making this app absolutely perfect.
Worked great for the first few years, but now I cannot connect to my mac via wifi and when I try to connect via usb, I apparently have an outdated license, but everything is up to date on license and software updates. Even emailed the support help weeks ago and no response. I am disappointed. ***update*** I emailed the wrong address...hence the no response. JRT Studio promptly replied and helped me with my problem! Great service! Unfortunately the solution is to buy another app for Catalina.
I bought the pro version years ago. Now I had to reinstall the app and reinstall the license, but the app stays in the free version and doesn't allow me to sync more than 1 playlist. Instead it wants me to buy the pro version again. hat is this? I paid for it back then. Please advice.
Great, speedy customer support when I hit a glitch with the version I installed not matching my licence from previous phone. I do find it easier to sync from USB when saving my music on an SD card. Best product I have found for iTunes to Android devices.
Only solution I've found that works. Even sync's play list information! I've needed some support from time to time, and received good responsiveness with helpful solutions. Highly recommend PRO version.
Have been using isyncr and rocket player for over three years now. It works great! Totally worth it to pay for the Pro app (once and for all) and keep my Android phone instead of spending hundreds on an iPhone only to keep my itunes library with me.
Seems to work well on Android devices. Is there further updates planned? Can also work on USB memory stick based hifis, but needs more options to allow play order, depending on the idosyncracies of the hifi.
I've been using this app for years and it works great! This version hasn't been updated for a year. I see the new iSyncr app that was just updated. If I install it will my Pro access transfer from the old version to this new version or will I need to pay again?
This is the most essential app in my Android. Whoever doesn't rate this 5 stars is because they haven't reached out to the amazing JRT team with their concern. I sent an email asking for help to the email in the description and got an almost immediate solution. If you've invested time on building up your iTines library you can't go without this app. And again, the support from the team is amazing!
Love it. Download it years ago because all my music was stuck in the apple world. This let me transfer my 80gb of music over my wireless network. It was a breeze.
My privacy tools caught this app trying to get my google account username which it has no business doing, and also connecting to what appears to be a third party music listening metrics company. I'm a paid customer and I'm furious that the author feels entitled to send my personal data to third parties, possibly for additional revenue. I'll be transitioning away as soon as I set up an alternative way of syncing my music files.
I sent a second email through my yahoo email account, but it keeps bouncing back to me. I used the the email address on your web site and on error messages, so why do they keep bouncing back to me??? What kind of operation are you running over there?? All this and no response! If you can't/won't do anything, I will contact Google regarding my refund!
Best way to keep your itunes playlists going without recreating in Amazon Music or having to switch to a streaming service, which will never be as smart about your music as you are.
Can be temperamental sometimes not being able to pick up the PC server, but overall it's excellent and I love it for the ease of transferring playlists from my iTunes to my Android phone
This version still works for syncing music! I'm also running iTunes 10 on my Windows 10 PC.
This app was once great, but since being purchased by Muma Studios the entire suite has been driven into the ground. They refuse to honor prior purchases and have re-released this app, charging $29.99 PER MONTH, claiming it's to support dev costs, even though the previous team of 2 did just fine charging a one-time $4. This is a shameless cash grab, violating Google Play Store policy in more ways than one. Muma Studios is truly incompetent.
I've been using this app for years. People tell me that I'm so much a genius even though the real gurus are behind this software and its progress over the years. Sync is so clever and people can't believe how easy it is to use. Yes 10 Stars thank you
It had been an excellent app, until today. It's not compatible with the new Music app on macOS Catalina, actually it deleted me all the already synced music. Is this app receiving an update to solve this!?
Highly recommended. Had an issue with my new phone, have been using the paid version for a long time, Caroline responded within 24 hours to my support request and resolved my issue.
I have been using iSyncr for over 10 years and have never had any issues with it. It syncs my music seamlessly. Recently, my PC crashed and I had to reinstall most of my software. I was having trouble with iSyncr and emailed them for help. The Customer Service department was exceptional! Not only did Caroline get back to me quickly, she got my iSyncr up and running, and then helped me with several problems I was having with iTunes. Above and Beyond! The app is great; Cust. Service even better!
