The same as I have read other reviews, iSyncr stopped working with my computer and phone. I have followed all the directions to check the router and reconfigured my firewall to no avail. I have same equipment and am at a total loss. I am a senior who needed cave drawings, and to get more technical I would probably run into issues. I have emailed but reading all these reviews I am concerned. I know it has to be something that a update changed on my computer that is not compatible. Please help!!!

I really liked this app and have successfully used the premium version for a few years. A USB connection made quick work of syncing and the app was very robust. Unfortunately, a recent automatic update revoked my licence and downgraded me to a new, free version. This immediately truncated each of my playlists to 100 files. I really need the premium version but was horrified to see the full sync upgrade costs £9.99 PER WEEK! Is this a misprint or unjustifiable greed? I'm rating the old app 4 stars because it worked really well, but I have no intention of paying an excessive amount for the premium subscription, so will now look for an alternative product. In fact, it would be more cost effective to buy an iPhone and use iTunes natively

===Update 19-Apr-2022=== This is a super helpful app that I've been using for years. I have a lot of music curated in iTunes and an Android phone. I have updating playlists that mean albums I like come round more often than ones I like a little less. This worked great when I had an iPod but I needed a new solution when I moved to just an Android phone rather carrying phone and iPod many years ago. iSyncr was the solution. It's been fiddly and finnicky very often, but it's generally done the job well. It continued to work through one phone upgrade. I also moved to using Rocket Player by the same group as it helped with synching playcounts (useful for updating my playlists). I note that I had problems with a very recent change of phone and a newer version of iSyncr downloaded which capped me at 1 playlist of 100 songs. The team has sorted me out with access to the older version of the app which was on my previous phone. So now this all appears to work for me again, which is great news. The newer version seemed to be on a subscription which was rather high. The older version works well but I don't know whether new users can access it. And maybe I've misunderstood. I don't know if the change in version and approach coincides with the change from JRTStudios to MumaStudios. The JRTStudios team were always super responsive. And during these recent problems while changing my phone, the MumasStudios team has respond quickly with a good solution.

Used this app for years. It was perfect for syncing my music from iTune to SD card in my Samsung Note 8. However, since I upgraded to Samsung S22 Ultra. App on the phone keep hanging and non-responsive, unable to sync via USB as desktop app does not show my phone. I've downloaded the most up to date version of the desktop app, and updated the phone app and it still crashes / hangs. Tried troubleshoot but does not resolve the issue. Loved the app before but seem unusable at the moment.

This app used to be great. I've had to purchase this app twice and it's asking me to purchase again. Support tells me they are unable to help because I do not have my receipt from 2014 and 2019, even though I've shown them the both previous purchases. It seems they have dropped all support. It's nice they say to email support. I've sent 6 emails over 2 months. They have yet to respond.

Absolute garbage. Retrieves playlists, but isn't able to sync songs to the phone. Before it just hung, now I get error 31. The strangest thing is I specify "sync to Internal", yet it appears to be attempting to back up to SD card. Either way, both are functional and should work.

Pretty unreliable, fails to link to the desktop regularly, even if it does manage to connect the playlists do not update even though it claims to be transferring files and retrieving playlists. It really is a very frustrating app and I repeatedly follow all the suggested fixes on the error message system.

When it works, it's a good (if slow) way to keep your iTunes and Android in sync. But about a third of the time, it does not find the syncing program unless one goes to the Mac, shuts down iSyncr, and restarts it.

Super useful little app. A bit slow to get the playlist details, but suspect that's an apple problem rather than the dev (and may be down to me having an excessively large music library). So long as you're patient, it'll get your tunes synced very well.

This is the worst sync app I've ever used in over 20 years. I have over 18000 songs on my server and have it configured to only sync the 4 and 5 star ratings. The last run took 'FOREVER', and removed 2883 songs and only put 1140 back, acting like it couldn't find anything else.

Going to 1 star. I don't know if I never noticed or overlooked it, but in order to capture play counts on a podcast, so I know it's been played and sync that info to iTunes, iSyncr wants access to read ALL my notifications. Virtually no apps have or ask for this, and those few are like Google & Samsung apps. This is what the warning says when I go to enable access for iSyncr. iSyncr will be able to read all notifications, including personal information such as contact names and the text of messages you receive. This app will also be able to snooze or dismiss notifications or take action on buttons in notifications, including answering phone calls. Nope! Sorry iSyncr. Find another way. This is unacceptable.

This remains a great system for syncing iTunes music onto my Android phone. Easy to use & fast. Complements the Rocket player, the other half of this great Pair of apps. The support is also excellent if needed.

AM. R. May 24, 2022

Very useful app, takes a bit of work up front, but allows syncing of iTunes songs and playlists from PC to Android. Rocket player is the free companion app to play the music on Android.

Hard no. Tried to switch to iSyncr after doubletwist became useless, downloaded app, tried to install desktop version & it wanted to restart PC. No single piece of software has ever needed to restart the PC - don't trust it. Deleted & moved on

When I go to the link to purchase the app, it says it costs $19.99/mo on a phone and $29.99/mo on a tablet. Most old third party reviews of this app state that it has a one-time cost of $3.99. What is going on here? In response to the developer response: I'm willing to change my review here if I am misunderstanding. Can you confirm that the price of this app over a typical 3-year life of a device has recently increased from $3.99 to either $719.64 or $1079.64.

Has some sporadic issues. Won't recognize itself, takes oddly long to sync, doesnt always sync everything. These don't happen all the time but seeing as how I don't actually use the app u till I have a bunch of audio to transfer those few times are noticable.

Used for years and used to work great. Tried to sync last week and would not work. Support is only through email, slow and worthless. Finally figured out hot to manually transfer iTunes music to my Galaxy S21. I can no longer recommend isyncR

(Edit: 4/9/22 - Muma has stopped responding to my emails. I finally see the screen where they are demanding $29.99/month PER MONTH for something that was initially a one-time $4 purchase. Wow, that's a giant middle finger to the customers. I've moved over to Plex and PlexAmp and I now just stream my music. I suggest you do the same, just wait until they have a sale on the lifetime PlexPass. I really hope Justin got a TON of money for selling iSyncr because Muma is going to run it into the ground. What a shame they are so greedy. Farewell, iSyncr...it's been fun. You offer me nothing I can't get elsewhere either free or far cheaper.) (Edit: 3/17/22 - Muma has told me that this version is for Apple's Music app (even though it clearly says iTunes all over and in the app title) and because they had to rewrite it, they have to charge money to stay in business. I don't buy it. This is CLEARLY a cash grab to get money from JRT's previous customers who don't need to buy a new app. Looks like I'll be sticking with the old version and when it dies, move on. Sad. Muma is doing a great job of destroying the goodwill that JRT had built.) (Edit: 3/15/22 - This version is nothing more than a money grab. I got access to the old version and it works, but I can't use this version without buying again. They didn't update the old version, they released a 2nd app with an updated version and want you to pay for it. Poor business practice. Shame...this used to be a FANTASTIC app. Now, they are just giving customers the middle finger. ) (Edit: 3/9/22 - I've sent you everything you've asked for several times now...and I've been ignored. Not great customer service) Been using since 2010 and love it. Got a new phone and now it wants me to buy it AGAIN for 10 bucks. Support wants my email receipt. Who keeps receipts for digital purchases for 12 years?? Disappointed to say the least. I'm guessing that Justin sold the app and the new owners are seeking some quick cash.

Really easy to use and arranges playlists just the same as in itunes. Only missed opportunity is to add on software that will convert the outrageous Apple protected files...music paid for but unplayable!

Can't get it to sync playcounts and ratings anymore. Have loved this program for years, did a complete wipe of the phone granted it all the access and permissions but still can't get it to work. Is there a support forum somewhere to help troubleshoot?

This used to be a 5-star app with great customer service. I have received confirmation that this is now owned by Muma Studios, and they have ruined this app. In addition to breaking much of its functionality, they have added a $29.99 per MONTH premium upgrade over the $7.99 or so one-time, original price. If Muma wants more favorable reviews, they can start by reverting iSyncr to a one-time only payment premium app.

Chr. M. Mar 12, 2022

Doesn't sync the full playlists. I.e. I have 30 songs in my playlist, it only syncs 12. This app used to be great, been using it for 5+ years. I realize it's hard fighting apple whose always trying to lock people out and force them to buy music through itunes store. I have my own music already, I just need an app that actually syncs it all properly.

Deb. C. Apr 20, 2022

I've been using iSyncr and Rocket Player together for years. They work great almost all of the time, and (very) occasional bugs are fixed quickly.

Jo. A. B. Feb 26, 2022

Like many others, I've been using iSyncr for years - since 2015. I got a new phone this week. When I ran a sync, nothing happened - no error msgs & no music copied. Tried several times, same result so decided to uninstall & re-install. Big mistake. Now it wants me to buy it again. I've emailed 4 times from 2 different email addresses with no replies. I saw in the reviews below that there's a different support email address than the one listed on the website so sent 5th email. Waiting for reply.

Sorry that I had to come back with a negative update but after years of using this app it no longer works with my Note 10+. I sent feedback inside of the apps support center but got no response. I just spent a whole day learning how to use Media Monkey to transfer my iTunes playlist to my android phone. It seems to work for now. Farewell iSyncr.

It used to be a seem less experience. With both Mac and Android updates it now is not so smooth. Not sure if there is a better option yet though
