It does take a while to set it up sometimes. I changed my wifi and I had many issues to make it work again but it's a matter of patience. Camera works great, the only issue is that sometimes I have to close the app 2 or 3 times before it connects. If you are having issues, remove the camera from the app, press the reset button on the back of the camera with a paperclip and wait until you hear a "beep". Then start over the setup and go to "quick wifi setup" and try to connect it. It worked for me but I had to do that 2 times.
The app is buggy. It cannot sense wifi networks and the field to enter the SSID manually is not editable. The wifi password field can be edited but not the SSID. I believe that if i could get past this step it would probably work ....but it is a useless camera at this point.
I was successful with this app on an Iphone, but not the android(failed). I'd like to thank a review here, she explained it well. There was an issue after the Wi-Fi changed. Heres how I did it, 1st delete the device in the app. 2nd reset the device using a thin tool (used a bobby pin), you NEED to hear the beep. It will request you setup the Wi-Fi. 3rd Add Device, select to setup Wi-Fi, enter info, put phone near camera, follow instructions make sure for audible confirmations; add password.
How is the camera supposed to attain information from the app if it's not connected to any internet? Bluetooth? Explain that please. Also, In the about section of this app contains the following: "This version is designed for iOS7 and above." Step 2 under "quick wifi configuration" : Connect to wifi network Select your wifi network and key-in the password. The button to enter the wifi name says When you click it. Nothing happens. Obviously.
Haven't been able to connect for 2 months now. No reply from customer support. Useless app.
This App Doesn't Work, after scanning camera's QR code it will refuse to even open, app is just as subpar as the company that made it. Do not download unless you are interested in wasting your time.
Most annoying..keeps saying not connect..how many times do I have to press reset button for it to go online ... Omg ... Waste of my money
The app keeps telling me to up date to newer version .I cant even enter my WiFi name it wont give me access not even typing only lets me typ psswrd not the wifi name. So I give it one star because you have to. Newer version ist out .
Will not connect to app. I tried 3 of the apps and no e of them work.
It sucks. How the hell do you change the email so the camera will connect??

First time using the App to configuration is indeed hard. But after tried for like 5 times, i finally got this thing to work. The instruction is pretty clear but only the camera that make us confused. When first using the instruction asked to press reset button and wait till it say restore to factory settings. That actually will not gonna to be happen if you continuously pressing the reset button. You have to let go once you heard the beep sound once and wait like 3-4 sec, then only it says that. If you continuously pressing the reset button, you will hear 2 beeping sound and then say camera start. That is wrong and will not work. After that it will say pls configure network. This step is taking some time to connect, probably 1-2 mins. Once you connect, the camera will say the connection is success. Done and camera is working.
trying to get this camera to setup is a nightmare and at the end of this nightmare you wake up and realize that it's not a dream it's real and this products sucks
please do not buy this it is horrible product..does not work the app will not work is a bad item all around is a waste of money
Never got to work, no one to help trouble shooting. So just deleted this app and burned camera in furnace, burned better than worked!
The app doesn't seem to work unless you are literally sitting right beside the camera. If my phone isn't within 10 feet of the camera the video shows the camera is offline. I was getting motion sensor alerts on the phone when the video was showing offline when I was upstairs in my home - the camera is downstairs. I think the camera was working but the app/video doesn't work. I've tried all the troubleshooting info that I found on line. Once it's offline it never seems to reset by itself so you have to be there to unplug it to reset it so it's pretty much useless to me.
