This app feels like it was made out of wedlock before a loveless marriage was conceived. It refuses to communicate regardless of what I try, when it finally does connect, it's only a matter of time before we go into an embargo for some reason and I have to restart my phone to get this blasted thing to work. It even fails on the much needed firmware update! The only reliable thing is how unreliable it is.
Do Not Buy! Literally everything is wrong with this app and product. It refuses to work unless you grant it permissions to access your personal files and photos. It demands that you sign up for an account before it will work. the setup instructions are terrible. The app does not sync to the device and is completely useless without the app. AND IT COMES WITH A LOOSE BUTTON CELL BATTERY! zero stars.
To fix the disconnect problem, u have to keep ur mobile phone with the ithermonitor app within 1 meter range only from the device . It's a life saving advice. But it kept disconnecting after 10 min. Untill we discovered that it disconnecte if the distance between the mob and Device exceeds 1 meter because its Bluetooth signal starts strong then becomes weak and disconnect Very important device but needs stronger Bluetooth Don't update framework. It's much better without it
Seriously amazing. I don't understand the negative reviews. This program works flawlessly for me and I can't tell you how valuable it. Nothing for an infant gives an accurate reading but this thing does and provides 24/7 information. Heck I want one when I'm sick! One of the best shower gifts I was given was this Frida iThermomter!
This app and device don't function. The device is almost impossible to pair, the adhesive patches aren't large enough to hold the device in place, the device wasn't registering the correct temperature, AND the app quit working and upon restart needed to be re-paired to the device my child was already wearing. Too much hassle.
Ridiculous permissions....then i can't even set up a profile because it's missing info app won't let me enter. Ridiculous. You need the app to use the thermometer...so this is pointless. With all the negative reviews you'd think there would be a fix. Anyway...will be returning item.... losing out on so much sales.
It just stops working and disconnects from the device. It's so frustrating when I'm trying to check on my baby's temperature in the middle of the night. It happens every f.u.c.k.i.n.g time use it.
Utterly ridiculous. Downloaded this app, went through registration, then it told me I needed their special battery driven thermometer to "pair" with my app for if to work. REALLY????? If I had a digital thermometer why would I download the app??? Stupid! Uninstalled. Also it asks for permissions to EVERYTHING on your phone and cloud.
Refuses to open .you must give permission for All storage data, photos , media and contacts to be used..why? Very very intrusive...needs far more personal data than is required to operate. App developer please explain?
Very disappointed. I would give it a 0 star but that is impossible. I have never had such issues connecting an item via Bluetooth. Quite disappointed
Never works properly. Constantly disconnects, has issues connecting again, have to quit the app and re-enter like 5 times before it pairs. This is the WORST app
Simply doesn't work. Had me sign in, then stalls at a white screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times.
Disconnects all of the time. My room is right next to my sons and I can't get his temp from so close. What is the point? If I need to be next to him to take his temperature I could use a much cheaper thermometer. The whole point with this one is that I can take the temp remotely
Don't Waste Your Time... None of the temperature apps give an accurate, or even close to accurate, body temperature. Don't spend time trying to find one that works, as I did. They don't exist.
Does NOT Work! I can't even get it to connect. The app screen just stays white. Wish I had read reviews about the app before purchasing. I never would have gotten it.
I don't see why all these apps instantly want access to gallery and storage on the phone. This app in particular seems very intrusive!
Look at me Herpa durr im gonna blame the app because it needs an external device to work and im too lazy to do research. As i dont have the thermometer cant vouch for the quality but the app works fine, if you arent completely incompetent
You have to sign up just to try to check your temp. Automatically deleted. Don't know why app needs access to a bunch of stuff if you're just supposed to check my temperature??? Would rate 0 if possible
In an Android app it asks for an Android with a several years old version (pre Android 7) or an iPhone in order to update the firmware and use the product, even if the box says that it works with Android 4.4 and above.
The Thermometer is Great the Android App not so much. daughter was running a fever and the app is worthless. IOS version works great! Devs need to work on fixing the glitches on Android app version.
Never could get it to sync so my very expensive thermometer doesn't and has never worked. Even bought extra tape so even more expensive mistake. Don't recommend unless you got a fix for me.
Can't even get past the onboarding screens. It won't let you enter the basic info to get started. Don't download.
My daughter is currently sick and I bought this hoping I didn't have to worry about taking her temp. This is the WORSE invention ever. I want to be taking care of my child and not worry when was the last time I gave her needs or the last time I took her temp. I even went out to but a new freaking battery. It didn't even helped. Doesn't connect to bluetooth. Waste of my money!!!!!this deserves a ZERO!!
I can't even get past the profile set up. the buttons are broken and won't let me make the selections but also won't let me get past it. absolutely terrible.
Works fine for me. I've had it on my son for 12 hours and we're using it overnight. If I update this it's because we had a bad experience but so far I have zero complaints.
If I could give it a zero I would. After 4 attempts I was able to get it installed. Unfortunately, any time I tried to sign up it just kept telling to check my internet source. The same one I watched HBO on my phone just a few minutes prior. I tried every combination of mobile data & Wireless possible. At one point, I literally sat right next to my wireless router. Do not waste your time!
