Honestly, the content is the best I can find around. However the app needs a lot of work. I hate using web apps as they tend to be flaky on my device, so I was excited to see this. However there's loads of problems: navigation needs work, no ability to have videos play one after another without having to press a button to do it, downloads are for annual memberships only which makes no sense, there are plenty of other companies that allow monthly downloads, etc. Not enough space for a full review

ITProTV has some of the best content out there and this app is extremely easy to use. My only issue right now is the lack of support for split view on my Samsung Galaxy S10+. The app does open in split view but if I decide to open another application to take notes, while the video is playing, the content stops playing. Also, the ability to download an entire course with a single click would be extremely efficient.

So far, so good. The instructors for Security + are really great, however, it seems as though things can be rushed at times and I find myself having to rewatch a lot in order to retain it. I wish just a little more time was spent on examples. The biggest thing about this app that is missing is the ability to cast the video to a smart TV or other smart device. It would be awesome to just have these playing on the TV in the background while I'm working, or flip some on before bed or something.

My only gripe is that when you search for a video you have to go through all the videos at once because they're not categorized, for example, there is no Supporting and troubleshooting laptops section seperated from the next section which would be Supporting and troubleshooting mobile devices. I have to go to online to see where the section starts and stops. Besides that awesome job on the new app.

This is not a learning application by any means. Contents are good, but navigation and follow in what you have accomplished and what not there, even if you are watching a specific group ofvideos for a specific course, you will get confused on what you watched and what not. I really wished the platform to be more like educational not just a group of video files.

Maybe I'm asking too much.... Videos don't download (Galaxy S10+), just spins and spins with no progress bar. I cant cancel the download (that never succeeds) and had to uninstall to stop it. While trying to download a video, even watching a video was impossible, it just spins and spins too. Seeing recently viewed is OK, but I'd rather see "next up" for the series of a video I recently viewed, so I can pick up where I left off, rather than rewatch what I already watched.

There was a nice update to fix some issues, although there is an issue where the video restarts to the beginning of the video even though I am 15 minutes in. So annoying that I have to refind my place in the video. This happens when I find the video in the categories, it's good when you click the dashboard video. Also, the website and the app have problems of not checking off the video as viewed when you watched the whole video. The app won't say you viewed the whole video for odd reasons.

Improved but still a lot more room to grow. Nicer interface, when switching apps and returning to video playback your place in video is kept and you don't start all the way from 0:00. Playback speed and audio only playback is great. I hope to see in near future a way to batch download a series. Currently only way to download is one by one. Subtitles and option to autoplay to next video in series would also be greatly appreciated.

ITProTV is a great service if you access it on a computer. The Android app has been hot trash for years now with no sign of improvement. Casting via chromecast leaves the video playing on both devices. There's buffering issues. Courses that are broken up into sections on the web site are just a list of ungrouped episodes in the app. It's clear that ITProTV do not focus much on their mobile apps.

Annual subscriber with Google Pixel 4a (running Android 11). Developer responded quickly to address playback issues when the screen powered off. At this point in time, the app doesn't support picture-in-picture so users can't multitask and look up supplemental information but at least background playback is enabled when listening in audio-only.

Great content but aweful app. Navigation is tedious and frustrating, next video in series a pain to get to and often requires you to find the category then drill down to the course and then manually find the video. App doesn't keep device screen awake. If the phone rings the audio will stop but the video still plays! Played videos not easily tagged...many basic video playback features missing. Outright frustrating UI and user experience.

I love this app and this Co. The amount of knowledge they can provide you is ridiculous. The ease of using the app is spectacular making learning the number one thing IT Pro TV has in mind. The only recommendation I can make is while using the app and wanting to only hear the episode you can't control what point the video is in say you want to drag it back to a specific time frame. I appreciate everyone at IT Pro TV thanks for making it a easier to learn.

Great content, but I've got a problem with the app. For an app targeted towards IT professionals I find it strange that it's not compatible with de-googled android. I'm unable to sign into my account. This is a problem I have with other apps that are dependent on google play services. Why is this the case with an app for IT pros bound to have modified phones? You'd think that would have been planned during development.

It does not allow downloads at the monthly plan level, just the annual plan. I would need downloads to be able to use this course. I see no reason why a monthly paying member should be restricted like that, so decided not to upgrade from free tier and will move on to other resources out there. I was not super impressed with the content. Each video begins with an intro which just cuts into my study time. The teaching quality was a bit amateurish though instructors seem knowledgeable.

Content is great, but Android app is lacking. Content is hard to seamlessly navigate from one video to the next. Audio only streaming with the screen off is clunky and takes a few tries. Looking forward to more seamlessly cast to TV.

That's app for IT learning?? Missing key app functions as : 1. Missing internal/external storage settings 2. I can download only video one by one Why the heck there is no "complete course download" like cbt nudgets or pluralsight offers? 3.not able to delete downloaded videos 4. No access to test or labs or flashcards. I give try but my internal storage is limited and paid annual premium membership.. I am 2h+ traveling in train and that is huge disappointment in managing videos while offline.

Two things the app needs improvement on: maximum audio is too quiet in comparison to the audio on other apps such as Podcast Addict and Google music. Second, when in audio mode there is no way to pan to a specific time point without going back to video mode.

I've been impressed with what I've seen so far of the content. The mobile app sounded good, but the very first thing I noticed was the eye blasting white background. First thing it needs in 2 words: dark mode.

Not intuitive. Very limited. Can't create Playlist with downloaded video or audio, meaning you have to manually change from one to the next during your commute. Unacceptable in 2020.

The new ITProTV Android app is great! I was using the old version of the app previously, and this is a huge improvement. Great user experience and the best IT content out there. I've been a member for about 4 years. Thanks for updating the app, ITProTV!

Love your show. Help me out with my use case - long commute. Please add setting to auto play next video. Also Play only Downloaded button for those without unlimited data. Also grab bluetooth buttons to pause and skip hands free. Thanks!

Crashing!! Used to be a regular user of the app on my S10+. The last 2 weeks have been less than ideal with app crashing on startup. Already deleted cache, app data and even re-installed but to no avail. Disappointed.

so far so good , very easy to use...please add the ability to cast the videos to your smart tv. Edit works great on my Chromecast!! my primary television is an Amazon smart TV is it possible to cast to other devices that supports casting. kind regards

Well the app was just force closing over and over again until I left a bad review then it magically started working. Ahh the IT life. I really enjoy the audio only option for long trips.
