When I turn off the "Itag beeps if out of range" but it say something goes wrong and still beeping if I'm out of range. Fix it and everything's perfect.
Tried several times, unloaded and reloaded but still won't find devices. Good thing the rings were on sale. At least the batteries are good.
One star because you can't give a zero or a negative!! I bought TWO, neither work. One won't pair to the phone and the other won't even go into pairing mode. I'm really sick of American products being trash nowadays.
Got one of those cheap BT key finder. Tried 5 different apps. This is the best one. Thank you for developing it!
Nope, no connect, several people all tried with different phones, these toy gadgets rarely work, fool me twice!
It actually works. Finds the device and automatically reconnects.
easy and simple to use cant figure the custom action part doe
The update seems to have fixed all problems... thanks
Junk. Wouldn't work on 2 different. Phones
app can not be moved to external SD memory
Hmmm I'll have to have a think about this one. Not sure yet. Could do with a range finder included.
Doesn't find my BLE tracker. Other apps can.
Most god-awful app and device I've ever experienced.
This one let's you manually sound alarm which is what I want
Does not find ANY Bluetooth device
It's not working. I just wasted some money for nothing.
wont even connect to a itag
Way better than the other apps out there!!!
Does not fibd my device, when itracing aoo does.
My s10 could not find it ......junk
Wouldn't find my itag
not conecting
Unless I'm missing something, to find your keys etc , you can use the phone to find them using Bluetooth SO LONG AS THE ITAG IS ON. To find your phone when you have your keys, you need your phone on AND BLUETOOTH ON. You actually need the phone to turn on the ITAG and the ITAG to turn on the phone and Bluetooth. Otherwise best case you use up the ITAG battery for having it on all the time and your phone batt for having Bluetooth on all the time. The App seems to work fine subject to those limitations.
I'm using iTracing2 with generic iTag devices, very cheap from ebay. My main purpose is to have a personal/trusted Bluetooth device that my phone detects. My phone is a 2012 Galaxy Note 2 running KitKat and Xposed Framework with "No Lock Home" module. On my home WiFi "No Lock Home" disables the PIN protected lockscreen. It can do the same task if associated with a known Bluetooth device by MAC address. So I found my iTag MAC address by using the app "Bluetooth Address Finder" and then I can use iTracing2's "foreground mode" and this keeps the link alive and so long as my iTag is nearby then my Phone remains unlocked when away from home on 4G/3G etc. iTracing2's foreground mode is excellent. It does maintain the connection but it does not prevent the phone from sleeping. By using a few free apps and buying a £2 generic iTag I get a sophisticated "Smart Lock" system while retaining the ability to use SSL certs, VPN and so on. 2012 Galaxy Note 2 lives another year! Only H.265 will deprecate this beast. This is an app that works as described, does so without requiring intrusive extra permissions, and is easy to understand and to personalise. Ideal!
With a super cheap clone tag ( and on a cheap clone phone ) and after a bit of mucking around pairing or whatever I did, everything burst into life . I can activate the phone from the tag and activate the tag from the phone, which is what I wanted to do when I purchased the tag. So I'm happy. I also sent a donation to the developer to help reward him for effort.
Excellent! Works perfectly with the 2 dollar chinese BT tracker I got from Ebay on my S8 with Android 8.0. TIP 1: You know the iTag was correctly switched on if you do a short press in the button and it beeps.
hi guys I just bought these tags and I am not computer savvy and no instructions came with this..... on ebay. How do I work this thing.. thanks so much lozz
First all the people who cannot connect device from start. This app does not enable or ask for the permissions it needs - go to your permission manager and enable all of them then devices connect no problem. This is one guy just trying to make an app to fix these crappy devices so the one star reviews especially on the device itself are completely uncalled for. That said alot of the functions and options once connected would not work for me. Which is unfortunate.
