Most recent version is surprisingly useful. I had the app on my phone, only used it a few times since I downloaded it in 2019 for freshman year. But (this semester, fall 2021) I saw freshmen using it and it turns out to be pretty solid now, more easily usable and with convenient features like seeing your classes that I certainly find useful! Besides, IU hasn't been sending as many emails about things going on this year, so this will be my primary source of information.
I don't know why they updated it. The app was fine, but since the update I can't login to my email and they took away the "home page" so I have to search every time I login for what I want to do. It's tedious so having all the info on my home screen was easier than searching for it all the time. The button for "remember me for seven days" doesn't work, so I'm always having to receive calls and texts to login to my account. It's just bad since the update. Before the update it was probably 5 stars
Unable to remember sign in for 7 days in app... I get an error message saying "you must enable cookies in order to remember this device". However, it was able to remember my info for 7 days in the past. I'm not sure what changed, but it is quite inconvenient to have to log in and approve a Duo push notification multiple times a day.
I updated the app yesterday and now my emails won't sync when I use the IU Mobile app to check them. My emails will sync just fine if I use my phone's browser or my desktop, it seems to be the app that's not working. 04/14/19 Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app didn't help.
The app was working fine until I had to update it. Now everytime I click on the app, it says I need to upgrade it, but it never downloads. In the past I would have given it 5 stars. I have uninstalled the app from my phone until they fix it.
Before the update it was a great app but now, I cannot login to my Exchange email account. I get an error message now saying to contact the administrator. I really only used it for the convenience of checking my mail. No need to have the app at all now, too bad it got ruined.
The mobile crimson card feature does nothing when I tap on it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it made no difference. The only use I had for this app was to use the card, so without it its a waste of space
The app is trash, Duo won't push notifications anymore, I can't have it keep my duo login for the 7 days, it's just a mess, not that IU cares about ease of use or anything
Buggy. Gotta slide sideways to see the whole canvas page. Won't let me stay signed in. Better off using a browser.
Doesnt work at all. Says outdated but link to update takes me nack to the install link
downloaded this app then uninstalled it couldn't it wouldn't take my login information i tried 4 times and gave up
Can someone tell me what is a passphrase? I'm trying to login to the IU app but I don't know what their asking for.

It does just what I need it to do. I can check my grades, open up canvas without downloading the app, I can do anything I can on my laptop with this app. Very good. My only issue is that at times it seems laggy and also that it will not let me stay logged in. I have to go through that stupid 2-step thing every time which gets super annoying! Also takes up a very small amount of space (less than 10 mb)
Quick and easy way to view all of the IU apps you need. Nothing more and nothing less (which is great!)

Why are none of the selections mobile friendly (Umail, Canvas, etc.)? Seems like an app for a MOBILE DEVICE should be mobile friendly.
With all the resources you have available...THIS is the best you can do?

Everything works fine except the bus map. Apparently they fixed it for Iphones, but it still doesn't work for Androids.
I have been using this for a while, and I am pretty satisfied with it. Good job IT guys!

This update is similar to Microsoft releasing Vista. It's extremely awful. IU should ask for its money back from whoever updated this "improved" version. The app moves at a snail's pace and half the time I find myself having to log in and relog in over & over again. I think I had time to shave my beard at least twice just to look at my email. The old version wasn't anything great in particular, but at least you could move from one part of the app to another in a reasonable amount of time.
Serves a hub, integration needs to be better, if everything just opens a link in browser, might as well just have a webview and somehow keep the single sign in work across all modules.
