Works, does what it's supposed to. Suggested changes would be to use the new MyIUP portal login (network username and password) rather than the old URSA banner and pin system. Lets you see your grades before you are allowed to do so in URSA or MyIUP. Really cool, but not sure if this is an intentional behavior.

This app is very usable. However, although you can send an email from the app I would like to be able to check my imail inbox from the app as well. Also when I look at my schedule, it always says that there are no classes scheduled. An update could fix these issues I think.

Just installed this application roughly ten minutes ago. It's very easy to use, and things are broken down into smaller menu's through icon's. I don't really know why there is an admission's section here though. I downloaded this app because I go to school at IUP, not because I am contemplating it, but those are just my thoughts. Very glad to see that the in-app dialing and email function without a problem. I would also maybe put the social media items in one directory instead of just having them on the root level. Overall, great app. Also, this Maria Shah that gave this app "1 star" and said "Sux", is obviously not a great source of valuable information.

This is a great app, especially for us students on the go. Very fast results when searching for something. Dont see the need for admissions thougt since most of the users probably go here already. But i guess ya never know. Love the in call and email options. Better than having to go back and forth. Nice job IUP!

It's not an outstanding app but it serves its purpose.

MAJOR ISSUES: Load times are insane. Loading spinner even on going back. No caching? -Directory: No way to contact a student, if you can even find them. -Map: Taking me to an external application? Why include it in the app then? -Events: Click on item->nothing happens so i assume not clickable. Many seconds later the screen changes to what i clicked on. -News: I click on an article, and am greeted by IUP's website, and not a mobile version, and I can't zoom at all, so i have to hold my phone right up to my face to see the text. I go back to the list and have to start scrolling all over again. -Grades: What do I need to see my grades from last semester for? I'd rather see my cumulative GPA, or even midterm grades here. -Schedule: I have to log in every time i want to see this? What if i'm running late to class? And what if I don't know where that class is on the map, i have to load google maps to look it up. Good thing i know my classes because I have no idea what ECB is. Finally, why does the app need the always run permission? I'd like to free up my ram that this beast uses sometimes. I guess i'm going to uninstall.

There are flickery screens, long load times, and white screens where you can not exit from. When pressing the back button on the home screen I received a white screen where I had to force close the app to resume. Also, the app grows in size taking up a lot of storage space on my phone (it became the largest app on my phone in no time - larger than even Facebook and Netflix!). Every time I check the schedule I have to log in, there should be an option for offline caching for fast on-the-go schedule checking (especially in those first days of school). When viewing the news I am unable to zoom in, the text is really small especially on tablets. It is really difficult to use this application, I want to be able to use it, I do, but it is so slow, frustrating and unusable. In a day to day basis this app is a no go and it is a shame IUP could not produce something better. As an app developer it is safe to say the whole thing seems rushed, unprofessional, and quickly thrown together just to put a product out. Hopefully it gets better, but for now I uninstalled. I will continue to use the unofficial version which works like other android apps. Using Samsung S3.
