Really disappointing. Service gets interrupted continuiously. I have used it in both android and iOS devices but the service is poor in both. Internet gets cut off frequently. I have to constantly restart the vpn. Netflix, and Prime both worked the first few weeks, but now both detect the VPN. Netflix gets frozen with buffer sign and Prime outright says I use a VPN. Not worth it. I hope they fix it.

Worse VPN app I ever used. VPN gets disconnected after some moments automatically. I contacted customer support many times but they doesn't able to give proper solution except changing vpn protocols. Dont buy the membership, this app is a scam. After I purchase, I cannot connect, it says "login failed. something went wrong. please try again later". I've reached the support team many many times but still no solution, they just deflecting complaints, not solving them.
This vpn works in Asia and Europe, can stream 1080p YouTube in restricted countries in Asia (guess where) that have the strongest censorship worldwide. Express and Nord fail to do that. All the people here saying the service is rubbish need their heads examined. Different servers are better for different things. You need to speak to the Singapore support staff to get set up properly but once you are and know the server And settings e. G right protocol it's an amazing deal
Absolutely dreadful. Heard good things and wanted it mainly for my Firestick. It just doesn't work at all on there and the Android app kills my speed massively. With vpn off I get 200mb download speed with it on its always less than 10mb. Will be requesting a refund
Very disappointed with app, always have problem with connecting. Error messages says secure connection disabled. Still waiting on response to solve problem, 2 days latter and waiting! Also does not work with blocking Disney Plus nor Netflix.

As someone who has been using the service for years, this is the first time I'm disappointed with the app. I updated it and it is now unusable. It's unusable to the point that I had to uninstall it for it not to cause problems with my tablet. Please fix this ASAP.
Important features missing for TV Android app. 1. Split connection. 2. Protocol Selection 3. Auto connect. I think company went cheap for Android VPN client for phone and tv apps.. Thinking to get a refund of 5 year plan.
It's a good VPN, however sometimes when there is change in networks like data to wifi or connecting to a different wifi automatically, it stops working, means it stop mobile access to internet, so you have to disconnect the VPN and reconnect. Sometime it's very annoying, specially when you are driving and it stops working and your map doesn't have access to your network anymore, so you have to stop your card and disconnect the VPN.
I just purchased the five year deal last night. I like to ease of use for all platforms, but there aren't enough configuration settings for the firestick TV app; not even a Killswitch. This VPN does slow down my internet connection by almost 50% and I don't like that, but for what I need to use it for is good enough. If there is a way that we can fix the speed connection issue I will definitely rate this a 5 star.
Great VPN, super convenient! I love how it has purposes available and whenever I want to use it for a specific streaming platform, such as HBO max, Netflix, Hulu, etc, it will connect and asks if you'd like to open the app. Super, super, super easy. I am not sure why some people say it gives slow connection speed, I've been using it for nearly 6 months and I'll forget it's even on because I'll get the same speed for streaming and such. Great app!
Frequently Ivacy gets stuck on the connecting phase, never connecting to VPN at-all. Worse, the app will at times show that it's connected to VPN, but the phone will NOT show the secure connection icon in the status bar at the top. Finally, if you do get connected, the connection will frequently drop. I setup the ‘split tunnelling’ feature to only pass Facebook services through VPN. I can see these services being unblocked, but I also see Alexa failing to play nice while Ivacy is running!
overall its pretty good. The features for Android and PC are bettter than their app for Firesticks. Split tunneling does not seem to work real well. I'd like it to work more as some competitive product do and only connect for desired apps and remqin offline for that that you chose not to use it with (i.e. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc that don't work well with VPNs).
Skip this VPN. I have the lifetime subscription and still would prefer any other service. The app is buggy and freezes often, a variety of servers aren't even available or drop connection without any notification and most importantly: the speeds are commonly terrible to the point where I'm almost willing to trade lack of security and use an unsecure connection that allows for me to actually get something done.
Slow speeds with unreliability, hopefully the service will be improved. On the android phone version the app hangs at times, and I am constantly searching for a speedy stable connection. The android tv version, is also slow and has inconsistent speeds and unstable connection. When settings are changed the android tv app does not remember them after switching device off, example everytime I switch device on I have to change tcp to udp. With a few improvements Ivacy could be 4 to 5 star app.
Don't bother, go for another VPN provider. Technically, the windows version is acceptable, though not particularly fast. Android is more problematic, with initialisation taking a long time, and reconnecting after sleep unacceptably sluggish. What really put me off is the customer support. Ask them a question and they'll give you three contradictory answers. Even worse, cancelling the contract is like getting blood from a stone.
Gives you false impression that you are connected to VPN. When you choose the server to connect to, the app says it is connected. When you click on "show my IP" it shows your current IP and suggests 'why you should you hide your IP'. When I slide down the menu to see it's status, it bounces from - Authenticating, Waithing for 3 seconds..., Connecting to..., and repeat the process. It will some times connect or just close. What bothers me is the fact that it says connected, but it is actually not

The auto startup at boot is annoying as hell. Tried several ways to prevent it. Gave up, just uninstalled it. Even though I have a paid subscription, I'll reinstall it if I ever feel the need. Seems that the auto startup is working much better, on my Samsung S8. I'll try it on my tablet sometime to check that out.
Just what I needed and a great 5 year deal. Updated review. I'm afraid that longer term review is that the performance across a range of devices is poor. The speed loss is dramatic and in many cases if you are looking to stream make it hopeless. In fairness the support is good in trying to resolve things but never providing for the lack of capability of the service.
