IVPN

Over the past few years I've had a flawless experience with this app and appreciated the dev direction, in fact I renewed my subscription again recently. Unfortunately, in the past month the wireguard protocol has stopped working for me, whenever I connect everything appears to be fine but I don't actually have a working internet connection anymore. I've tried regenerating the keys using the button in the app but that fails. I'm posting this in good faith and the hope the problem is on my end!

The trusted/untrusted feature is not working correctly on my up to date pixel 3xl on verizon. I have uninstalled, rebooted, tried different protocols and ports but no difference. I have submitted logs through the app. I hope this gets resolved soon. I noticed someone else left a review on a previous app version who had the same problem. Although I am having this issue I must say that IVPN support is the best I have been around. They are working very hard to help me solve this issue.

I've had this VPN for several years and it's been a crucial, trustworthy and great quality service. I use it on my phone, laptop, desktop since they allow you install the application on 5 different devices. I did A LOT of research comparing VPNs all across the board and I found IVPN had the best "specs." I pay $99 a year. However, those cheap VPNs are totally sus, and you get what you pay for. If you're security conscious, IT savvy or someone just wants to stay off the radar this is for you.

IVPN is a promising VPN that needs a LOT more work. I personally can't see it improving, given that it's been going for 10 years now. Currently it suffers from: glacial speeds; an inability to access BBC iPlayer; and is outrageously expensive. The latter point is the most damning. IVPN states that: 'by charging a little more [actually DOUBLE], IVPN can provide you with better security, faster servers and awesome support from IT professionals'; but this is merely marketing sophistry.

App has gone to hell on laptop ever since last upgrade. Now it constantly crashes, leaving my IP exposed & When I put the firewall on permanently, it prevents my Wi-Fi from connecting. It's also super duper slow, both on laptop and mobile...such a shame because I used to rate it highly. I can't even find a help link anywhere in the UX...that should be a given. Likely won't renew subscription :(

I like this app when it works but it logs me out then won't let me log back in all the time on my phone, laptop and router. I contacted support who confirmed everything should be fine, not a good response when you have real issues. Sadly I cannot renew my subscription with such a poor app and support.

It's the best vpn app. For those facing issues with wireguard, it happens because the key doesnt get renewed. It should be done automatically but Sometimes it doesn't. Just renew wireguard key and it should work.

The app functions as expected for the phone but not for tethered devices. With the kill switch engaged devices connected to the hot spot neither use the proxy or are blocked. I suspect this is a "feature" of the phone. If the language in the options menu noted this limitation or was surpassed I would give the app 5 stars.

Was going to give 4 stars because I have been having terrible time with the "Always-On VPN" setting, but overall this VPN app is amazing. Definitely the best. After this newest update, the issue was fixed, and I've noticed a slight increase in speed. (It was already really fast however) So I have no problems givig 5 stars.

I've started using this even when I'm at home or in my office because it somehow blocks trackers, so I don't get these advertisements that are eerily related to text messages I've sent or phone conversations I've recently had. Work every penny as far as I'm concerned. Desktop version has even improved game performance!

Great vpn with excellent speeds and features. Please make an android tv version. I was able to sideload it on to my Nvidia Shield, but it doesn't work with a mouse. It's hard to find an android tv vpn with a killswitch that actually works. This application works great on a phone.

The App works great but the customer service is terrible. Not because of their knowledge but because of their availability and their non-caring attitude towards customer concerns. They often never respond to support questions. If they do respond, then days, weeks, and even months would pass by before they do. They do appear to have online chat support on their website but no-one is ever available and I've tried several different times during the day.

Doesn't work with Google apps like the play store on my pixel 3xl, all apps updates are pending with vpn on. The split tunnel feature should be accessible while connected, and needs a search field.

One of the best vpn app, really worth the price. If you see this vpn, just purchase it no matter what you want to use it for, it works over Netflix,Hulu etc all apps and no recapta on google like other vpn+all servers are owned by IVPN instead of leasing them, its the best part.

Lately seems to have bigger impact on performance. New UI makes less clear when connected. I don't care about map, preferred the big Connected circle.

Great app the only problem is if you want the anti-tracking feature you have to download the app off of IPVN's website. The play store version of the app and the one you would download from IPVN are completely different.

Straight up no nonsense the best VPN I've used, seems most vpns slow down your connection alot. Not this beast. Sure you still get some slow down but at least for me it's hardly noticeable. 10/10 would yaaaaar again

Paid for the service, went to go enter my account number and it immediately says *too many requests sent try again later* waited an hour, redownload the app from fdroid then the playstore and still doesn't work.

Service works well and it's fast. I recommend downloading the version from their site though. It comes with more options like tracker blocking.

This app is not fit for purpose. It's incapable of defeating any geo-blocking. Additionally, the UI is awful, and the auto-fastest-server-select doesn't work. I wouldn't use this piece of junk even if it were free. Try ExpressVPN.

Fast speeds whilst connected to the VPN. No cons to me and also like the 1 week plan which most of the competition does not offer.

Fails to connect to VPN servers after latest update. Clear app cache and data. Rebooted. Nothing helps UPDATE: DEVELOPER WAS QUICK TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!!

Doesn't work as desired. Very slow, doesn't work with Netflix, Disney + etc... and the refund mechanism is annoying!

I can't wait for my one year IVPN subscription to expire - just a few weeks to go. This has all been a bad nightmare! As I write this, I'm wondering how long it will be before IVPN Customer Support actually read this!

I am a 24/7 vpn user for years. Have used nord/vpn.ac/surfshark/Windscribe/mullvad, but this one just works sooo well. In love with it Advice to devs: pls make antitracker a global option where we can on/off within the web portal. Not via the app itself. Then android users like us don't need to side load the app anymore. :)

I was a bit leery to switch as I was a long time buffered user but you guys have been amazing almost seamless. Your policies fit my requirements.. . as long as they stay that way You've got me. Thanks ., continued success in the future.

Works great in USA. Been using it for months and never had any connectivity issues.
