Finally one that works, although to get it to work without having to use a USB cable I needed to find out the IP address that my phone was assigned on my network and manually edit C:\Program Files (x86)|Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings to match the address. I thought that it was broken when it started to change to monochrome after a few minutes, but it does turn out that upgrading to premium solves that. I like the fact that the free version doesn't totally die, gives me more time to test before committing to purchase.

Really great! Very reasonable cost and so far, it just works. Other VR applications I've tried are more expensive and much more difficult to get running (though they do offer more flexibility in that they're more of a screen-mirroring solution than a Steam VR passthrough). Even the wifi connection is stable, which is great for those of us that have a hard time finding long USB cables that support data transfer.

Edit: after a while I got it to work. Turns out that it keeps trying to switch between wireless and wired mode if you have your wifi on and it connected via usb. So if you're going to use it wired for a speedy connection be sure to turn off your wifi. I only used the free version but it did ok considering the limited functionality I had access to. Original: It might work it might not... I wouldn't know as the damn thing kept restarting the app itself every few seconds

I bought this app. Since then, it crashes randomly, usually after 5 or 6 minutes. "This app has stopped responding", and Android asks if I want to close it or wait. If I hit "wait" everything keeps working perfectly but after 30 seconds it asks again, "This app has stopped responding". I've looked for solutions online but found nothing. On top of that, the drifting is so bad that I sometimes end up making a 180 from my original spot. Double-tapping the phone does nothing. If this isn't fixed soon I'll ask for a refund.

Although this is a really good application for VR gaming and whatnot come there's a massive issue having to do with the drift situation that causes the headset itself to rotate automatically. Hopefully in the future this would be fixed, as of now I'm only going to give this a four-star until it's completely

I got this app and its really cool! I almost immediately purchased premium and I've only run into one error. For some reason which I can't seem to figure out, some days this app will run super smooth and others it will be tearing and it will lose connection and go back to the main iVRy screen constantly. I dont have any extra programs running on my phone or pc and its the same games. another question i have is what games work best with this? I've tried minecraft vr and project cars so far.

I bought this through Steam and it works really well on my i7 [email protected] and 1060 6gb, however, I am confused as to what the best VR controller would be to buy at the cheapest price. I see most people use this app to save money. I have one other issue, I use a S10 phone and USB 3.0 cable but I get this flicker that occurs occasionally but it doesn't slow anything down its just this flicker like the screen is rotating 90o real fast and back. Am I doing something wrong?

Great VR demo, but I seem to get a BSOD after using USB tethering after about 10 minutes of play. Dev update: Hmm, I actually was plugging it into USB 3.0. Will try 2.0 when I get home, thanks for your reply. Edit2: After updating Windows, enabling developer options in my phone, and plugging it into USB2.0 slot, it works great! Best VR app I've used yet.

I literally CANNOT choose the wired USB mode. It goes to wireless WiFi mode and gets stuck their. For £8 I would expected this app to work. PLEASE fix this bug. It causes me to go through an hour set up to at least get it on wired mode. USB tethering, once enabled does not allow anything to work. I've done everything correctly, yet I still can't select wired.

Works great. Had some gripes until I got Vive controller emulation working with freePIE but it was worth it. 5 stars if you fix the black screen after changing device orientation. For now closing the app and running it again fixes it but is not the ideal way - and the refresh button does nothing to help.

This app does exactly what it promises to do, I makes your pc think this is a vr display nothing more or less. If you are expecting to make your phone a fully functional vr headset with controllers and everything you are in the wrong place, this will only project what shown normally on a vr headset display on the phone. I have used it for that 500hours and have no problems at all with it, the only down side for me would be the fact that the wireless connection is more stable than the wired one.

Very good for a mobile app. I have the Google Pixel 6 Pro, the resolution on my phone seems better than my actual VR headset. The only thing that can make this better, would be if I could figure out how to use any type of controller. I can't get any to work. 5 stars if I can get a fix.

So the app does really well it can handle the stream on wireless but on usb it proved to be much better there is some delay in the usb but other wise really good kudos to the developers, also performs better on higher end phone which can help my problems with some slow downs using the usb and also wireless and have a stable connection without any artifacts and used this for hours without any problems.

This is the most complete and stable Vr streaming solution I have tried. Well worth the cost. I highly recommend using this with DolphinVR. This won't work for everyone, though. It works great with my laptop but is unstable on my desktop. You will also need some kind of controller.

This is really cool! The app welcomes you to use the trial for as long as you wish (but being a trial, color saturation is disabled) to insure it works for you. NOTE: If the landscape flickers too much, install Google Cardboard on your device. I did this and it fixed that perfectly.

The app is very good for being a free one, it has some minor problems sometimes but nothing too serious, the only problem I have is that it seems to not support the resolution of my screen. I'm using it on a Xiaomi Mi a3 and the entire down part of the screen is just black and the image is stretched, if you know a way to fix it I'm up for hints.

It is great, but there are some issues, first I bought premium on Steam, but the app didn't see it, so I ended up having to buy it on the play store, and I can't figure out how to do a refund on steam for the dlc, and 2, the usb tethering doesn't work no matter what I do. And over WiFi, there are some artifacts which should be expected for wifi, even 5Ghz

Extremely effective with great video quality and took two minutes to install and launch. The problem I have with it is you have to pay to see color. I see nowhere on the app store or steam that it mentions this, but on the steam forums the developer openly acknowledges this. I'm sure it is worth it to buy the premium, but if you are looking for free vr this is not it

Was working fine then all of a sudden it refuses to connect to my computer. In settings it's always set up to wifi instead of USB been hours of troubleshooting, YouTube tutorials etc just a waste of time. Honestly was debating on buying this app and I'm happy I waited.

Very intuitive application and easy to configure. I am interested in purchasing the premium and would like to know if it is possible to use it with games purchased outside of steam, (for example resident evil 7).

I purchased the app. And dissapointgl after extensive testing. I discovered while running any steam vr game on 720p resolution without streaming sound. The app has 10/35ms latency delay over Usb or a Wifi 5ghz Connection. In movies.. U get every 5 seconds a hitch. (Making this app totally useless) IVRY devoloper. This app needs (moonlight) it handles high res video, audio stream and controller support! Simultaniously! On a common 2.4ghz wifi connect. Its far superior. And best of all its free.

Works very well and I really appreciate that they turn it to grayscale instead of just kicking you off. It lets me take as much time as I need to test it and make sure it would work well for me without having to reconnect constantly.

Works surprisingly well, I thought I'd have problem considering my laptop is practically run by a battery and a potato. Downside is that there's no color but overall it's the best and it's easy to use, would recommend and probably will. :)

It works well for the most part, I bought premium and it saved me from buying an expensive headset, obviously it's not as good as the real thing but it does measure up well, only minor performance issues which will probably be patched, but otherwise it's a great purchase!
