All good so far. I'm only a week into using this app, but so far there have been no problems. Support was very responsive when I was initially asking questions, and payouts have been consistent, hitting the bank within 48 hours.
I signed up early April and have not received a single deposit. I have submitted several support tickets again no response. I feel like my money is being held hostage. Would like a resolution but thinking there are better options. I do not have the time to try to track down help with this. BBB gave them an f grading for this issue. Stay away. Update still no response. Yet they sent me a spreadsheet of deposits for my records. Problem is I never got a single deposit.
I have been using IVY Pay for my practice for over 18 months. Love it! Simple and quick response from tech the one time I had a question. I like that I don't ever access to client card info, or have to keep client card numbers at all! And clients can remove there card information if when they desire. Easy end of year report with exact fee total to expense on my taxes. Excellent and Useful App for Therapist! BAA and all. HSA cards or whatever. It has always worked seemlessly. Highly recommend
For the past 3 months I've used Ivy Pay in my solo private counseling practice. Thus far, the experience has been seamless. I recently needed to reach out to Ivy's customer service team. Their response was quick, professional, and effective.
I have sent over 20 messages to Ivy pay within a week and a half. I have requested email or call back regarding them not paying me two sessions. This is extremely frustrating and if you look them up on BBB they have similar and even worse complaints. There is no number to call and it's all done through the minimal app. At this point I am going to have to seek Leafly action unless they contact me and pay me my money.
I just began using Ivy Pay in my practice. So far, this has truly reduced the amount of time and energy spent on collecting payment for services rendered. It is the most comprehensive and efficient platform that I have used. The features available have reduced paperwork ~ as this app provides the option for sending (and updating) Good Faith Estimates; it stores payment details in a HIPAA compliant platform, it immediately sends me (and the client) confirmation of payment (or denied payment/need to update card on file), and has now begun to offer the option for superbills. Another headache alleviated. This allows me to take the few minutes of "down time" available between sessions to decompress and regenerate in preparation to address my needs so that I can address my client's needs. It is also important for me to note that customer service has been most helpful. They have responded quite quickly to my questions...and I actually got a response from a live person...not a robot (like the Business Venmo platform). I changed my entire practice to Ivy Pay and have had positive feedback from each client (so far).
I love IVY Pay. After trying two other platforms, I quickly realized that Ivy Pay is the quickest, easiest and most secure way of collecting client co-pays and deductibles. I TRULY appreciate the free Good Faith Estimate feature they have provided. It's saved me so much administrative time.
Ivy Pay has been very easy to use and great for our group practice. Customer service is quick to respond!
I've used Ivy Pay for years and love it! Very user friendly for myself and clients. Everything always processes seamlessly and their customer support team has always been so helpful, thorough and incredibly responsive when needed. Highly recommend!
I have been using Ivy Pay for several years now and I have not been disappointed at all. It is the most easiest and secure app I have used in regards to charging for services that are confidential. As a Therapist I have felt respected for what I provide because of the structure of services that Ivy Pay provides me. They care for me and for each one of my clients. This care is revealed by how diligent they are in maintaining their standards and updating what is needed for continuity of security. A feature that some might not be aware of is that Ivy Pay accepts HSA and FSA debit cards in addition to other credit cards. I highly recommend this app to Therapists.
The app, Ivy Pay has been incredibly easy to use with features that allow book keeping to be a breeze. However, the customer support is outstanding. I have already recommended the app to several colleagues.
I've used Ivy Pay for several years. The customer service is superb! I always get help when I need it, but I rarely need it since the app is so intuitive and user friendly.
I've used IVY pay for several years. It's been super easy. Not a single problem, all of my deposits show up in my bank promptly. My clients love it. It's super convenient for them. It's secure. I don't have to be responsible for keeping client credit card info safe and protected. Customer service has always been top notch for me. Definitely not a scam as some reviews claim. I recommend it to colleagues frequently.
App not working since last update. Something is off. Uninstalled and reloaded. Not working getting an error to try again later. Tried to access on PC and it doesn't work. It just sends a message to tech support. What is going on? It appears a previous version 69.0 is in app store. Needs to be updated.
I am a client. I tried to install this on my android and ran into technicl issues Ivy thinks I'm a therapist and wants my lic number. There doesn't seem to be any way to get past this to a "client"screen. How do I fix this or is it fixable?
This app is not only easy it's safe for the therapist because the client doesn't need to give payment information to the therapist. Instead, it's stored within the app. The backup is also amazing. Twice, they have contacted me personally when a client was confused about what the charges were for. Exceptionally helpful and professional.
I like that it logs entries as a session with the option for a note. Rates are very good, comparatively. Most clients like it. A few have concerns about placing a card on file, even though I don't have access to the card information. I would have given this app 5 stars but for the way clients are logged. It is based on the name on the credit card. If the client is a minor or has a partner with a different last name, it's on me to remember who their payer is.
Simple to use, secure, smooth process. Keeps a record of paymentes. You can add notes if you wish.
It's very easy to use, the money lands in your bank in 2 business days or less, clients all seem comfortable with it. The monthly reports are extremely helpful for my bookkeeping. It's easy to see when and how much each client paid, in case your other records aren't accurate - the app is accurate because it has to be, sort of like your cash register. If a card is declined you hear about it instantly and so does the client, who is invited to update their card. Support via email is quite rapid and helpful. I highly recommend it.
Love using this app. Easy to use, HIPAA compliant, great for mental health professionals or anyone with small practices. Low processing fee. I highly recommend (which I do to my colleagues).
Can't recommend due to on-going technical problems and slow response from tech support. One issue still unresolved after 4 weeks.
Awesome app and it is so easy to use. My client's do not have any issues with completing their part for payment processing. I love how it is tailored for therapists.

Very easy to use and the rates are great. Only issue i have is no phone number to contact a person and it does not appear they have weekend hours.I was locked out if my app on a Friday and emailed the support line. First thing Monday I received an email stating they were working on the issue and within an hour I was back in business. So the support was helpful, just don't have issues on a weekend.
Caveat: if you're trans and likely to change your legal name and forget your password when you are swamped updating everything you're going to have a bad time with that trap springs. The app is flawless, but because of all the various privacy laws that particular case it's going to be one of the more difficult ones to you'll have to fix. Remember your password siblings. Otherwise you risk breaking therapy kayfab. 😜
I think overall, I'm going to like this app for charging my client fees and keeping things easy and secure for clients. I do find it irritating that the app thinks of itself as "client records" when I'm simply using it for securely storing and charging client's payment methods. There is a place to put "notes" for each session, but to me, that's what SimplePractice us for. IP doesn't have a robust enough clinical records section to be considered "client records "
The IVY pay app and the team member, Jules, was available within a few hours, after I requested help with understanding how refunds work using the app. After he explained the way returns work, I had other questions, which he responded to immediately. Even when I reach out after hours, I have always received a response, so I never feel alone when I am using the app, even though I might be sitting alone in my office. At the end of the year when I am doing my taxes and I see the amount I need to deduct for billing fees, and I feel the amount is so reasonable compared to the service I received all year and the easy way I have of receiving payments from my clients, who also appreciate the convenience of not having to go through the physical act of making payments in order to pay me on time!
The app is simple and straightforward. More important than that, however, the support team is absolutely top drawer! My questions have been answered quickly, accurately, and personably. No complaints whatsoever! (I only wish I had found Ivy Pay sooner).
Easy to use, but just unacceptably bad customer service. Twice in the last three months, they haven't sent payments for a week or more (deposits are typically initiated every day), and cannot be reached for explanation. Very disappointing and frustrating.
I use IVY Pay in my solo practice. It's so simple and takes much less time than my previous payment system. If I forget to send an invoice (which I have on more than one ...or two..or three..occasions) , I don't have to sweat that I won't be paid. The fee per transaction is the lowest I've seen anywhere! AND the customer service is EXCELLENT! I contacted CS several times with Q's and always heard back promptly, sometimes within an hour. I would highly recommend IVY pay!
