IXL - Math and English

Ngl this app is trash, horrible and frustrating. 1. Useless 2. If put a wrong answer they drag u down like 10 points but when u get a answer right it bumps u up 2 points except for the first 2. 3. The schools require to get a smart score of 80 or above but my school I have to have the smart score of 100 especially in Ela not just they smart score but, for instance if u have 17 out of 27 u have to start all over again if don't have 80 or above hence, I don't recommend playing to this.

It's the worst app ever, I would rate it 0 stars, if you mess up once, you have to either restart or just loose lots of freaking points. I don't know what to say honestly my teacher makes us get on it every day, It's VERY frustrating and annoying to deal with, It's the worst school app ever, I don't get why some people like it.

Im in 6th grade and overall this app is so flustrating, if you get one wrong it bumps you down significantley. Even if you get a question wrong the explation makes no sence it dosent help at all. When im doing math it makes it so complicate, it takes HOURS to get an 100. And when you get an 100 you still dont master the skill that you need. I have to sit in silent lunch and snack detention just because this app dosn't give you the imformation you need and takes forever to just get to 85.

It's OK but does not include everything from the website. I pay for the membership and as for the site I love it but the app is severely lacking. If they would update it to include the games and all the extra features the website has it would be 5 stars easy.

IXL is very terrible and I hate that I had to do IXL for homework at my school computer. because if you get a right answer it gives you a small amount of points but if you get a wrong answer it takes away so many points and it is very frustrating. I do not recommend this app and the creator and developers of IXL should go to hell because of the terrible program they created.

It causes lots of stress and family arguments. It has been one of the worst apps I have ever used for education. It also takes so much time to finish just on takes almost an hour. If I could I would rate it 0 stares and delete it of the app store

I can't get my child logged in. Can't get registered as a user. I'm using the same log in info that gets me logged into the website, but it doesn't transfer to the app. Completely pointless if it can't be used. Also can't reset anything since it all goes through the school.

I would give it 0 stars if it was an option, don't waste your time downloading this, There's not much interaction to it and makes it seem even more boring. I EVEN WENT TO 96 TO A 88. It will keep sending you down until you get it right and it's RIDICULOUS HONESTLY. It will make the child even more stressed out because any time u get ONE question wrong it sends you back down, I don't suggest this for kids. Espically if your child or you have a weak subject, it just makes it seem more stressful.

I really dislike IXL in general. I'm about to go into High School(I was held back a year), and I have to do homeschooling. My Mama got this for me and my little sister so we could do homeschooling, but it's just not right. My little sister finds it great, and can learn with it easy, but I'm more of a "I need to be shown physically" kind of learner. When I did public school, we used this a lot. I have been using this app for years! I have never felt any issues with this.. one suggestion that you can sometimes show hint or something like that option to keep students not much stressed.. However, the best learning app..

Why does this app have to be so horrible? It is required in our math and la classes. We have nearly 25 every week (in total) and you never seem to be able to finish! You'll be able to go up 5 then if wrong go down by like 15! It is horrible, everyone in our school hates it! And it is not because I don't like learning, it's boring, tedious, and I just learned that I have spent a WEEK of my life that I'll never get back on IXL. THAT IS CRAZY!

All it does is give you a problem you have never seen before and you have to solve it. The "help" you get makes no sense and it teaches you nothing but how to guess when your frustrated. Worst part is every class used it because it was required by the principal even when students AND TEACHERS complained! I would absolutely give a 0/5 if possible. Please do not download this nor use it in your classroom! The child's mental health will thank you.

I think this app is good but it doesn't teach you how to solve the problem and the example is not explaining it well. Like 3 or 4 times it took me 2 or 3 days to finsh one lesson and my teacher wants me to solve questions properly not just answer it. I like prodigy better and the maker do u bother even to make it better

This app is great for practice and helps children such as myself learn, it is not hard if you know the skill. There is a major flaw though. If you get a promble wong it drops you down like 8 points. I you are someone who doesn't give up and works hard to the end, I suggest this for you. But if getting frustrated easily is you. And it keeps you from learning just keep your cool and dont use this app.

Dumb point system, I spent a week on 1 assignment and when I was at 97 I dropped to a 86 when I got a question wrong, the designs are very bland and the only prize you get other than grades is a picture, this gives me stress more than education, by far the worst learning app to ever exist.

Don't like it. I give it a 2 star because its an actual good app for learning, and all 1 stars are angry students (like me.) But it makes no sense how if u get one wrong it brings u down like 6, but when u get one right, it gives u like 2 or 3. And the science ones. I CANNOT WITH THEM. Pleade just make this more "enjoyable" for students

One of the worst apps you can ever experience using as a child these days. Now teachers out here posting assignments like we going to do it with no issues while struggling 24/7 to get even 1 question correct. Even deltamath gives a better experience than this trash app Deltamath gives very helpful examples that improves you alot while ixl does the opposite. I'm in 9th grade doing 10th grade work and not being teached none of the things I'm doing right now. I hope the folders suffer the same.

If there was a choice I would rate that s app a 0. It is very stressful and when you get a question wrong it will drop like 10 points. It is very stressful for my child and he cry's because he is getting stressed. This app should be shutdown. DO NOT get this app

I really can't stand this app... parents, teachers, and really anybody, just please don't stress people and students with this app. It takes long hours of a person's life, it is very stressful, and there is nothing that makes it fun for anyone... Just Don't 😓

Horrible, the way you lose points is terrible! You should keep showing them how to do it! But it shouldnt make you go back because you know what you did wrong! Also, you should make it more fun, or else we'll always forget any thing you "Teach" us. If your a teacher, your if these promlems arent fixed, please dont give it to your students! Worst app ever!!

Don't do it it's not worth it. this app may seem great at first glance, but no. I do IXL it's absolutely hell. When you get to like 79 and you get one wrong it like takes away 9 points. it's basically like they give you 2 but takeaway triple. Please just don't download this app. It causes kids too much stress.

App is very bad... Like everybody else is saying it only gives you +5 pts. When you get the "question" right. But a when you get the questoon wrong, it does a frekin -10 points! Some stupid mobile app. Also, it is SOOOO fustrateing!! Im at 84 when i need to get to 85 and i go down to 60 becouse of one MISTAKE. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! i dont know why teachers still use this bad app.

This app is VERY frustrating. It takes you down by 10 points when you miss one question then it takes forever to earn the points back. I don't know why schools use this app. It makes me dread math class. And the drawing tool is very in-accurate. I made a "6" then it went to a "q." And they make the questions in the "challange zone" way too difficult. It was not a good experience for me and it doesn't work as promised. I definately would not reccomend this app. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Not a terrible app, but could be better. As a student, my one complaint is the point system. It can take hours to get to 100 and if you get one question wrong it will drop significantly. Although this is extremely frustrating and annoying, it is an overall good learning app, it has a nice description and explanation as to why you get something wrong if you do, and there are even rewards.
