This is a fantastic app. There are a number of reviews saying they have had issues getting the app to work properly. I did have issues, but it turned out to be an issue with my phone. The app by default will have battery saving turned on which may cause it to stop during the run, turning this off fixed the problem for me. The app itself is brilliant, such detail on runs to help me improve, similar features on other running apps only come with the subscription versions, very impressed indeed.

Used the app last year for running and cycling, and there were no issues. Also used it for running a month ago and again, no issues. But started cycling again last week, and GPS accuracy is horrible. The distance measurement is way off. The voice readouts of distance and time are absurd. It says that a certain distance will be IN certain time. But in reality that's the time and distance that has passed Also seems that the connection to Jabra earphones is choppy at best lately.

refuse to connect with earbuds (elite sport) on Bluetooth. native Bluetooth connects just fine, so buds work for music and calls and such. there is however no way to update the firmware, nor to use the fitness functions. tried an old phone with android 7, and was able to connect and update firmware through that one, but back on my main phone still won't connect - just stands spinning at "connecting". this is extremely annoying, please fix.

I just got the Jabra Elite Sport and downloaded the proper app to connect to my Huawei P20 Pro. The headset connects easily and without flaw most of the time. But the sports app depends on the service app which does not work very well at all. I was about to return the EUR 220,00 headset because I could not use the sports features. However, changing the configuration->battery->app launch from "automatic" to "manual" (all options enabled), has improved connectivity yet so far.

--Update-- Heart rate for Elite Sport works well when walking but lately I noticed it does not work while running. This throws off my VO2. It would be nice if there was an update or newer model for the Elite Sport. Also it would be nice if the ear buds synced Samsung Health instead of creating an account for one of the limited partners that partially syncs. Enjoy the app a great deal. Would be nice if the earbuds works with Bowflex Velocore.

I noticed the music equalizer is distorted once you try to adjust it to your desired sound. The dots and the line are completely seperated. It was not this way until the last update. Not sure what's going on. Also once adjusted the left ear bud makes a crackling sound. Please adress this problem. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

The app stops the workout without notification. Twice I have taken the VO2max test where it ended by saying "test cancelled" without a reason why. Now the test has finally worked, but when I use regular workout it stops without notification. It is extremely demotivating to run 8 km and find out that it only record it as 4 and thereby say it had a low training effect. I bought the Jabra Elite Sport for workout, but it would seem they only work for listening to music.

Buggy app. It only paired with my Jabra Elite Sports once, when I first set it up. After that, the app never recognized my earbuds albeit they were connected on my phone (Huawei P20), can play sounds, and is not in Power Saving mode. As a result, I am unable to use the additional features that are supposedly offered by the Jabra Elite Sport, such as the VO2 Max and Heartrate. I would gladly change my review to 5 stars if this issue is addressed by the developer.

App has good features but is not consistent or clear with its metrics. Any heartrate over your set max will seemingly bug out the reading, asking to reconnect the buds then sets the rate at the lowest possible. It also would say my fitness level is declining despite significant improvements in endurance and strength over the course of months. It also misreads certain activities (using a rowing machine makes it think you are working up a sweat without moving, thus low rating. Wouldn't recommend.

Fix :ensure the Jabra apps are allowed to run in the background. On my Sony xz premium it was in the apps & notifications/app info /Jabra sport /battery /power saving feature. There is probably an easier way to get to the power saving exceptions but that's how I got there. I then restarted the phone and reconnected with success.

This app is wonderful when it works, unfortunately it only works about 1/3 of the time. I can start a workout and halfway through it will randomly stop without any notification. I don't know if it's the headphones (elite sport) or the app but it's to the point where I'm going to use another app.

Really like the interface, but the app's programming needs a serious overhaul. Programmers: if I'm running at the same pace for 10km, and after 10 minutes my heart rate drops from 150bpm to 90bpm, it's probably the sensor not picking it up right, so why not build a solution to this (common) problem whereby the app automatically corrects the errors picked up by the sensors? basic programming guys, come on.

The integration with the ear buds is impressive. The app settings are mediocre at best. Audio settings don't follow what is selected. I want to shut off the voice and only hear tones - can't figure it out. We need better control of the audio settings.

The app and earbuds work really well for me. The install was not difficult so I'm not sure why others have struggled. The app would benefit from more workout options as well (eliptical, etc.) As well as more workout options like resistance while spinning and grade % while on the tread mill. Additionally improved data reporting ie. Weekly/monthly activity totals instead of just single workout results.

Dear Jabra App dev Team, I do like the app in general, but I feel like, that the app is missing a few key features, which would enhance the experience a lot. 1. Auto Pause function in running, which detects pauses (e.g. traffic lights) during the activities via GPS oder cadence. (Strava does a very good job here) 2. An easy way to push a workout in the past over to strava in case, the automatic uploaded didn't work.. (does happen occasionally :/ ) Thanks for your response in advance

The app has a lot of great features and the Strava sync is now fixed and works really well. I like the VO2 Max calculation and chart of your fitness. I wish the audio cues would follow the language setting in the app/headset but instead they apparently follow the operating system setting. That's pretty frustrating if you are bilingual.

Horrible UX. So many options that I don't want, and I can't do something as simple as specifying my target minimum and maximum heartbeat and let the app tell me when I'm in or out of range. Poor design, trying to simply for a simple user but not allowing customization for advanced users

After the latest update the sports app warms up my phone then there is some distortion and eventually my phone is crashing. I put three stars for the effort and the ideas the company is putting forward as well as the products I've been using fine so far. But please you need better and less buggy apps your app is whats ruining the whole experience. Edit: I have upgraded since posting the above no more wam up / battery drain. Will they be able add more sync options other than strava/endomodo?

Can't connect the Jabra Elite Active with this app even though they work just fine with the phone (Samsung S9). Tried everything i can think of to reset the phone and the earbuds, no results. Hope Jabra is able to read all these comments and fix their software. Until then it's a completely useless app. 1 star.
