This app has made contact with my friend so much easier. Before it used to be such a hassle having to go to the post office to get the specific post cards and all that, now I can do it straight from my phone with nothing but a button away!
If I could rate no stars I would. You can't set up a new account. You get a message that the app is in development and you don't have permission to access it. Same thing happens when I try to set up a contact. Looking into their help links, they are unavailable. You come here for help and the app hasn't been updated for TWO YEARS.
I'm always working and don't have time to buy letters stamps envelopes and mail it out so I tried this app very easy to use I love how it lets me add a pic sense my bro always ask for pics of the fam.
When it is time for me to get my free letter the app crashes. This is the 3rd time I had to download the app. *revised* as of 9/14/2016...the app is working wonderful. All of my credits were still there after the update. I really like this app because it is so convenient and easy to use.
Im just starting out .but so far what i have read about the app it sounds good to me ..i wish the process could get to him sooner like on email on a computer they can go check on and read letter .and they wont have all kinda property build up in limited space but so far it sounds great .
This is just another way they let us talk to our loved ones maybe it will be faster than regular mail.
My Sweetheart is on a 1 1/2 Yr. Court Ordered Vacation and Jail Mail Is the ONLY WAY I can write to HIM and Mail it ALL in the Same Day. Thanks Jail Mail
Have loved and used this app since its original app name of "Not Forgotten"... The developer personally handled any issues and was always very prompt in responding. Wonder if he remembers me still? -Lou
Wont take my payments and send. This app is terrible if your loved one is locked up.
Worked fast & easy for me. I just couldn't find where it said what kind of postage it uses. The facility I sent it to doesn't allow stamps, only postcards with prepaid postage. I hope it gets through! :)
It isnt letting me get past the review once i write my letter and put in my card info it wont even let me click on the check mark to send it... When i tried contacting support it too wouldnt lwt me contact them. Sooo not sure if this is a scam prank or what..
Sent cards before Christmas to two people and never got notified they went out which was their S.O.P. before. Emailed support twice with no reply. Mail was never sent but I paid them..
It takes awhile for pictures to actually get to him however a four-page letter was only $0.99 and after so many you get one free also saves you a trip to the post office my only complaint right now is how long it takes for him to get the letters because on top of the time that it takes for them to reach the prison the prison still has to go through it and read it but it is a great app and free for the most part great convenience
Makes it so easy when life if to busy to communicate with family in prison a few clicks and done. Just wish it didnt take so long after you load pics and its sending them.
So far so good. You can not attach pictures to a letter. It must be done separately. The cost of 3 photos is ($1.60) the costs of a 2 page letter costs the same as a stamped envelope at the post office ($0.99). It does take a while for the inmate to get the lettwr. It took them about 5 days to send it and he received it in about 9 days.
It's really good.. because you have access to talk to the love one who's incarcerated
Allows me to send email letters to my woman locked up. Easy to use and about same price as a scam and envolope
First time using the app, wasn't as easy to set up as expected and takes 7 days to revieve a 1 pg letter (longer than u.s. mail)

Everytime i go to use this app it crashes, it wont let me add my payment info when trying to send a letter and ive tried countless times i just want to send a simple letter how hard can it be?!
I absolutely love it easy fast just a little bit high on the prices. But you really get two for one because you can put a picture on the front of a postcard and your message on the back.
It works but when I shared it I didn't get my coupon reward
I have wrote several letters. My man got 2 out 14. Cause it says they take paypal, which once in a blue moon it takes. I have 3 letters waiting 2 go, but when i hit payment it refuses to take the paypal. Or my card. It's more of a journal they can read when they get home. Take the time get stamps and mail it. They will get it faster and cheaper. Minimal aggravation that way.
