So far, not a whole lot is happening, I wish there was an option for basic to have messages even for $5 or $10 for the first month that would be beneficial, but the main issue I see so far is that you have a profile that doesn't update properly. Now, if one or both were fixed I would more than happy to raise my stars but I can't afford to upgarde my profile til next month.
I paid and used this app for 3 months while in Japan. Honestly, maybe this app used to be popular. Now not so much. Most profiles are abandoned with pictures from 2 or 3 years ago on them. I liked and messaged most women around Osaka & Kyoto/Kansai area. Most of them didn't respond. They probably didn't want to speak in English or were not interested in taking to a "foreigner/traveller." Maybe if you're a Japanese Language Speaker with Japanese writing skills. Even so, wouldn't get my hopes up.
It really is ridiculous that you can't even message someone without paying. I also find it weird that they ask all this personal information, and yet suspend you for including for example your IG handle in order to have other ways to meet and communicate. It just comes down to money. I will be erasing this app. I was really hoping to meet new friends overseas but this app truly makes it impossible. Don't bother getting it.
App is a total scam. I was under the impression that free users could chat if they matched eachother, but that isn't the case. I matched with someone and we still could not chat eachother. They are charging you $30+ to use a feature that is essential to the apps' purpose. Do not waste your time on this one.
+ The app has a clean UI + It's easy to navigate in the app. + you can manage your subscription within the app. It easy to bith cancel and stop automatically renewal. + Its not to expensive for the offerd fetuers. + The custemer support is friendly & helpful. - Sometimes the App sings you out while writing a message. So you have to copy the text before clicking send. - Sometimes the app apears slow. - The menues need a little more work. ~ Not very active members.
An absolute money grabbing greedy app. You can't send a message even if both of you have liked eachother, and not only that but both parties must have the overly expensive upgrade to premium to be able to view the other person's message. On top of that you'll get a warning or get banned if you put your personal social media details. The app is nothing but a greedy trap, a poorly designed app as well.
the app is okay but one of the 2 people had to have a paid membership starting at $30. that is just outrageous! the app does however have a verification system and a lot of personal preferences can be shown too but talking without someone paying is not possible because there is no way to connect outside of the app.
They crippled their own platform. First thing you notice after signing up, the number of emails they spam you with. The next thing, is the messaging system is a marketing trap. sending a message to another user, if you are standard, will cause them to not be able to read the message unless they pay for a membership. Or, if you receive a message from a standard user, you'll have to upgrade to a membership plan. Overall, sending a message just plays into the marketing strategy. Avoid this app.
Seriously. I'm not even sure if real people are on this platform. Of the few people that contacted me on this app, 2 were asking me to join another platform immediately. The other one was a scammer that wanted to introduce me to invest in something. Complete waste of my money to pay for a subscription.
Even you upgrade to the expensive $34 a month and you send a message to someone you like, that person who receives the message will not be able to read it unless they upgrade also and that is highly unlikely with the expensive prices. So you end up wasting your time over and over getting nowhere. This app is awful and corrupt, it should be banned from the app market.
Not being able to message anyone without paying a subscription fee is just awful. You can message with paid members but there are so few of them. The few people I've met on here have been either crazy, liars or Gold diggers. People write their preferences in their profile then say they're after a completely different thing once you talk to them.
I have a subscription but I can't use it, because I keep getting a message saying: you already own another subscription for this app. Please manage your subscription through the Google play. When I open the app from within Google play, it still asking me to upgrade my subscription. Worst experience ever with an app.
Not bad, not good. The functions working good. Keep the conversation on app. A lot of catfishes, some ghost profile's. Most of half profile's are just for convince you to put money in stocks, cryptocurrency, starting the conversation like a normal people. I think the user's need a option to search and see verified profile's only.
I liked the previous format a lot better. The search page was a lot better too. I miss the tiled format the search results were in now the pictures are in your face as they occupy the entire screen. It now takes longer to look through each page despite the fact that each page now has fewer results than in the previous format. For the previous version, I would have rated it a 4 (one star under 5 because you had to pay for messaging). For the current version I'd give it a 2-2.5 stars.
it's a boring app if you are a non paying member. unlike some other apps which allows you to chat even if you are not paying, this one just can't do anything except for sending an interest and wait and hoping the other end is a paying member. giving one more day before I uninstall.
Its one of THOSE apps. You know the ones. The ones where you need to pay to send messages essentially making the free version of this app completely worthless.
Definitely like the app, but there's no way I'll let this app take one lump payment for an upgrade, you all need to fix that I'll do a year membership but I won't allow a lg payment , I'm gonna give it a week, so far every Japanese lady is asking for a white guy.. Caucasian and that's majority of them
When you pay for the app, the subscription doesn't work automatically. You have to stop the app, clear the cache and storage on your phone and sign back in again. Otherwise, it will say you can't send messages and if you try to upgrade again, it says you already have a subscription. This is not a positive interaction after paying for a product. The app seems to work okay. I haven't used it long enough to know how many or how few of the users are scammers, catfish, or bots.
