Don't get it. After about 15 characters you would have to pay.
25 chances to see if you did it correctly. Then you need to pay for more!?. What a load of bull

Update: working great now. thanks for the update. old comment : The app seems to be appealing. But as soon as I open the first lesson and try to write, it crashes.. quite disappointed..
It's good coz I start learning, but a bit disappointed coz its just gives few free trials after that they will ask you to upgrade and will tell you to buy/pay for new ugrade..
Your stupid app should have told me that I only had a certain amount of trials and I have been through a bunch apps thinking that this was the one but no I have to buy something that I don't want just to learn the basics of Japanese

Whenever I draw a kana and tap to see if it's correct, I get a message saying "Unfortunately Japanese Alphabet has stopped." then the app closes and opens back up to the app home screen. I really want to use the app. Please look into this, thank you!

The older version was nice and all but I felt like it was slow. Now it updated and it surprised me. The tests are more challenging and better because all the letters are scrambled which helps alot with memorizing. The writing checks are more accurate and now it has examples of sentences and words. Overall it's great to learn and its gonna get better with updates.
