Japanese Alphabet Writing

I downloaded this app yesterday and used it for hours and I absolutely loved it. Today though I tried using it and I can write the character once but then the app malfunctions and closes. If it doesn't close then my screen doesn't match up with what I'm writing. I uninstalled and redownloaded, restarted my phone, cleaned out my junk, and it's still not working properly. If you don't experience this issue then this app is amazing for learning the correct way to write hirgana and katana!

I think this is an excellent app for learning kana. I have only one improvement suggestion: I would appreciate a graph paper background. This would make it easier for me to learn the exact proportions of each character line and to see what I was getting wrong. Thanks!

Greetings to everyone! This app is very important and not just that but with no ads. It is understoodable when and while using to learn and understand japanese language. It does not have a larger space of display for writing but has medium which is also probably good. It also has questions to ask you after learning and think you are well fed up. Has a good sound which might also help you hear and pronounce a letter or word properly. This is my prediction,thank you. Arigatou Gozaimashita

I love this app... This makes me learn japanese super easy. All I do is to choose the alphabet which I need to start from , try it in the app 6 or 7 times and write it in my copy. I everyday go through it once and i am learning Japanese super fast. I just downloaded it 2 days before and and now I have learnt 5 rows... but this app has a lot of ads but they are really short so it is no big problem.... I highly recommend this app to beginners who want to beginners who want to learn Japanese.

Love this app! Great for learning just the symbols as its simple and you can practise any of them as many times as you want. I would maybe add long constenants and an option to here the symbol every time you draw it and possibly less adds, but those are minor things. Would recommend!

I really like this app, it allows for me to choose which characters to practice, allows for comparison, a trace to get the feel. A blank practice sheet, and that is all I wanted and had a hard time finding, so I'm so glad I found this app.

This app is very good for a beginner like me to learn the japanese writing. Since a week I just again and again go through all the characters every morning and i almost remember all of them already. Maybe i just haven't found it yet, but i wish there would be a test, with only a blank screen, spoken charakter and comparison after i draw the character, to see how well i actually do remember the writing. But anyway : Thank you for this great app !

It is a very helpful tool to use before speaking Japanese. It gives you a very neatly organized alphabet that could be easily used for studying. I would recommend this app to anyone starting out and wants to learn their symbols before speaking Japanese.

I learn visually and hands-on, so this went very well for me. I had watched vampire knight on Netflix and loved it. That show made me want to learn japanese. I looked at the particles in the songs from the show on Youtube, and then I started to pick out the rules for particles. That each sound is a symbol. This language is a strength for me, with the particles, that is. This helped me learn the way I am built to learn. Thank you.

I would have given it 5 stars but it is giving me some problems there is a constant glitch in the app that's why when I complete writing one alphabet and click next then I am unable to write the other alphabet so I have to go back to the table and select the same alphabet again and then practice it. I loved the app but plz try to solve this problem as soon as possible and also it will be great if add kanji in the app too. It'll be great if u do that. And thanx for the amazing app it helps alot

Pretty weird behavior, app works flawlessly, and it's even great, but for some reasons it collects a bunch of my files in it's Android Data folder, 5 gigs of photos and videos in there, weird, why are they there in the first place, does it copy them or move them? Anyhow, uninstalled.

It really helps you learn the characters and even shows some common combinations. Altough you need to do some extra practicing on your part to get it in your head the right way, this app really lays a solid foundation for you.

OMG this app is very good at teaching Japanese text it really helps me a lot to learn Japanese texts just by doing it over and over again I can easily learn the letters from this app. Thank you for such an app it helps me now to understand what letters are written on post and sign with the Japanese text. I also kinda suggest I wanna learn kanji I've already learned the hiragana and katakana letters please please I want that and I like that😁😁. That's all for my review thank you.

Very helpful to use as a flashcard reference and to practice writing. I wish it also included tips to remember symbols and sounds, plus show the different ways on how those sounds and symbols are used... example why are there two zu sounds? And other multiple sounds? ha-wa, wa, wo, o, tsu, su How are they used from one to the next?

Great app , it made me understand the similarities between alphabets (cause the ones that aren't too different are placed right below them ), thus i learned them much faster That's the only thing i found different about this app than the one I've been using before.

It's an app for beginners to memorize hiragana/ katagana simbols. It helps a lot in order to learn drawing, memorizing and the pronunciation and listening hiragana/ hatagana. Very good app!

Simple yet effective! Just a little thing. When finishing a custom test and choosing "reply" the answer to the multiple answer questions stays recorded and submitted, so I can only pick next. I guess reply should start the test from, shouldn't it?

This is a very helpful app in my quest for conquering the Japanese writing mission I sent out myself recently. I wish for more quiz types like, flash cards wherein we guess the character and/or at the end stating what it means. Thanks for this devs! Thumbs up!

I am happy, the app helped me muster hiragana and katakana. I am specificaly happy with how the charts are organised. It is very easy to learn about sound switch from ka to ga and ha to ba and so on.

To tell you the truth I love this app for a long time. But I gave 4 marks 'cause it still has potential of growth, like you can add new types of tests or recommend some more apps to help us .

This app is really good to learn Japanese alphabet. If you have this app, the paper work for practice is no longer necessary and there are also customizable tasks for your memorizations. So, you should try this app first.

It's a great concept, but unless you have a steady finger like the AI and stay in the lines, it won't accept my lines. It also goes nuts and glitches when in Compare view.
