Japanese Dictionary

I am signed into the correct accounts yes, if you wish I could probably even find the receipt in emails. Still not unlocking at time of writing. Edit: Waited a while and then decided to try again but no luck, maybe there's just some issue with my phone model I dunno, thanks anyway.

New update 50 mins ago (20 Nov 21) has broken my preferred settings, changes are not applied when changing in Settings. I don't want to see romaji, only kanji and furigana. But the app shows me romaji when I tried to disable it. Otherwise great app and best referral app with sentence examples.

Crashes. Won't even opens. Very annoying. I have many apps on my phone over the years and only this one crashes in the no man's land!

I can write words in Japanese, English, and even in romaji. It provides a lot of possible definitions for the word. It sometimes also shows the kanji character and how to write it. Amazing!

I can't open the old app Tenjin(pro) I even unlock the features.

I want to buy the premium but it says it doesn't accept playstore payment.

Greatest app ever.

This app is marvellous. I'm not exaggerating, seriously, it has it ALL. Just perfect if you're serious about learning Japanese. But not only that, this app goes even further. It's not *just* a dictionary, the amount of information it provides can be used into deeper study of the Japanese language. This is something very valuable. You don't find this kind of detail on the web, not to mention on the play store. One thing I find troublesome though, is that the search box doesn't appear on every interface, so one has to go back to perform a new search (it's not that much of a problem, just something that would be nice to see). Thank you so much for this incredible tool.

For the most part great, with some caveats, like, i really could not find out how to remove favorites. I did the walkthrough and checked the features and tips, but really could not find anything. If I go to the edit screen end just delete the favorite than it stay there, just with an empty line as its name. Also, when I don't remember if I already put a Kanji into favorites and click to add it then it gets added no matter what (so I ended up with duplicated I could not even delete afterward). Please make the favorite functionality less useless an if the features I need are already there and I missed them, please make it more obvious what to do to use them.

I have a problem with the app, I reinstall it, and now it says I have to pay again to unlock all features.

This replaced all my other dictionaries. It's way more than just a dictionary, it borders on being a text book with all the information it provides. None of my other resources breaks down the entire sentence in such detail to provide a deeper understanding of the grammar.

Completely confusing and no real functionality. All the menu items like "features" and "tips" say nothing more than "buy the full version to find out how to use this app!" Are you kidding me? If this can't show me how it's different to the other 20000 dictionaries on Google play, why would I pay for it? Lame. Uninstalling.

it's an app I enjoy using because it's based on the online dictonary I mostly use. If you want a complete dictionary this does the job. The dictionary does not conain examples yet but who knows maybe in future.

Now it works on nougat. Good app!

Useful but no Japanese pronuncoation.

It started working after this last update. Back to being my favorite Japanese dictionary. I like the updated fonts as well. Nice touch

The big update is finally released! It was unusable on my phone (Nexus 5X running Nougat) but now it works again. Unlocking the pro features is really worth the money especially for those who are learning Japanese.

Now usuable on Android Nougat. Hands down best German - Japanese dictionary I've ever used. Offering many (!) different languages beside German and English is surely a rarity. This app should get an trophy of awesomeness. PS: I'm on a Nexus 6P

I really like the information provided beyond just a definition/translation. The only thing keeping that fifth star off for me is the speed, or lack thereof. The dynamic search is part of the culprit. I'd rather it just let me finish typing the word, then search. I have to enter a character, wait for it to filter, type another character, and so on. I really wish I could turn that off. That should be the next included feature. Also would be nice if it recognized conjugated forms of a verb.

OK, I still think that it will be a very useful addition if you could allow Tenjin to behave this way. It will be very helpful for beginners... Changed my rating to 5, I'm hopeful for the future.

Just moved to Japan and I've been using this application faithfully since I've been here... It is more concise than any other dictionary app I've used and it's more practicalcal when it comes to kanji lookup or difficult pronunciations... The suggestions for similar words is amazing... Highly recommended and thankfully useful...

This is by far the best Jap-Eng-Jap dictionary that I've come across. Many words that can't be searched using other translation tools can be found here. Totally love this app!

I feel when looking up a verb that it should have all the variations of that one verb grouped together like the past tense, negative form, -masu form, present form, etc.
