Japanese Dictionary
Japanese Dictionary also is a Japanese language learning tool. It includes translations of some words in French, German and Russian and displays example sentences, kanji information and conjugated forms for each word.
The words can be searched using kanji, kana, romaji or latin alphabets. Full sentences and conjugated forms are also recognized. Kanji can be searched by selecting multiple radicals.
Like most of the Japanese dictionary apps out there, the data is from the awesome JMdict project made by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group thanks to Jim Breen and others.
ABOUT PERMISSIONS
Permission to access USB Storage/Photos/Media/Files is required to be able to export and import words lists to USB Storage if you do so from the menu. None of your other files or photos are accessed.
Network Connection Permission is used to send your contributions to jisho.org if you do so in the app, otherwise nothing is sent and network connection is not required (dictionary works offline).

Uninstall because popups ads(with sounds) Its was the best dictionary apps. Since they install a popup ads with the sound, its annoying. I cannot used in class since they will be randomly popup.
This app does everything other Japanese to English dictionary does. And on top of that that, has the most accurate Japanese handwriting recognition I've ever seen. It even beats imo the best ios Jap to Eng dictionary (the old version Shirabe Jisho by Blazej Stanek). Good job!
Top #1 Japanese-English dictionary? Yeah right. Lol. It's missing many very common Japanese words. Waste of time. Uninstalled. JSHO Japanese dictionary app is much better.

Does what you expect, but the lack of offline handwriting recognition makes it rather average compared to other Japaneae dictionaries.
The best features of this app compared to other jisho type apps: a draw kanji feature with a really good detection algorithm

Quite disappointing. Recently I have run into a glitch where if I go to a different app to copy something and switch back, nothing comes up when I type in what I want to know. I have to close the app and reopen it, and then there will be a full-screen ad just to do that. A lot of the time the results aren't any better than Google translate either. I do a lot of translating on my phone so I need a reliable dictionary. Will be uninstalling and finding a new one.
