Japanese English Translator

Terrible since last two updates. Conversation feature doesn't translate out loud anymore, and of course now there's an ad every 5 or 6 actions. Completely ruined. Very disappointed. Way to go from 5 stars to 1. Ugh. Original review 👇 Amazing. Lots of features to help improve your Japanese in a variety of ways. I like to play around with the conversation feature which allows you to say things in either language and get an instant translation. Great for checking speech accuracy. I love it.

Translates English to Japanese and Japanese to English. The translations might not always be perfect but I would say 90%+ of the time it is. I see being extremely practical and useful on my trip to Japan. This can also help with those practicing memorizing Japanese words.

Pretty solid Japanese learning app. i downloaded this in orderto learn by example and it has really helped. This app WILL show you how to pronounce each part of a sentence, but will NOT dissect it into its parts and their meaning. For that you should use the websites RomajiDesu or Kanshudo. Other than that though this app is almost flawless. Would recommend to anyone wanting to jearn jp by example.

It translates well enough, but i cant figure out how to use the crossword feature. Its not possible to insert japanese characters or anything. If a developer is reading this, could you put an option to use a japanese keyboard, or maybe allow the user to use an english keyboard that subs in japanese text when it recognizes a common hirigana letter like ka, or chi, or something. Because At the moment the crossword is unusable. And dont forget instructions on how to use it when you get it updated

Translation apps are hit or miss and I like this one because it translates English into not just kana but Romanji as well, which was the downside I found to Bing Translator. For a newbie still learning their kana and kanji, that feature was what really won me over and helps me under sentence structure better.

The app used to be really good until my translator stopped working recently. The crossword is not working too, but other than that, the app had been really helpful. I hope that you can fix the bug soon. Thank you.

Kuli, Japanese language is very difficult to translate into English language, Japanese grammar is reversed compared to English and nuances is very different. It's easier to translate in sentences. This app so nice and reliable because it can edit the wrong sentence you've structured-out and it give's a lot of knowledge to those who want to learn other languages. this app is so niceee i really like it. but it has a lot of ads but it's okay.

Unparalleled Translations! I've used several apps to translate Japanese and this is far the best app. The voice and the text abilities are fast and all translations are correct. I have verified the translations with my Japanese wife.

A great resource for checking reading and meaning of words. Also translating sentences to ensure you have the grammar right. A wonderful app I use to aid my Japanese learning.

So far had nothing but good experiences, translations are accurate, wide variety of nationalites represented, could use a few more though.

It was the best translator for me. Now it hardly works. Either forever loading or completely wrong with even simple vocabulary. Hope that it'll improve

Sometimes, the translation isn't always correct. So, we should really try to understand each language so that we can all understand each other so that we cannot make our languages a wall of complication.

More accurate than most translators I've used. The additional features on the app, such as word of the day, are also very useful.

This app is a huge scam. I payed for the addfree version and got nothing. No help no explanation "restore function" ask you kindly for more money. After weeks, the developer are still not willing to reply to my email. After reading some other reviews I am not the only case.

This is good app, but for offline are really different, u will not get anything if offline, i has make sure for my permissions, but app always give notice if my permissions storage required (can't detect the permissions)

Works great, haven't gone to Japan to test the camera feature, but I'm sure with how practical the app is, it should work great.

i love this app, but i've been having problens with the translator. it will not work. it was working fine at first, so i have no idea what happened. if there is an update i'm not getting, please fix it.

One of the most usefull and helpfull translating apps that there is I recommend everyone to download this app if you want to learn other languages like Japanese, seriously this is the most awsome translating app!

It used to love this app but not anymore. It worked well till recently the app can only translate 単語. Once I type in more than 1 word, it took forever and fail to translate.

I'm learning quite a bit of Japanese and it's translation feature let's me check my own pronunciation. As well as my spelling and grammar.

Spent a while downloading it only for it to keep crashing and freezing. Not recommended.

Downloaded to translate from pictures, signs and and what not, give the app permission go to use the camera feature only to get asked again to give it permission AGAIN AND AGAIN. Useless feature
