The app itself is great, but there are some functions that aren't working or missing, like the dakuten and handakuten which are important parts of Hiragana and Katakana. Also the ad space that popping out together with the keyboard is kinda annoying for me. I hope it can get better.
This might be a good app if you only need to write in English and Japanese. However, I prefer the AnySoftKeyboard (which doesn't have a Japanese keyboard) to be able to switch between about 5 languages. With all the Japanese keyboards I've seen, you get to switch to an English keyboard, but not all the others.
I would have rated this app 5 if it was not missing any characters and if it didn't keep switching between katakana and hiragana without my permission, it really ruins the whole app. I do like how it allows you to customize your keyboard and all other features, though.
Japanese characters also has small letters, and they are absolutely significant. This keyboard doesn't seem to have that setting, so it cannot form certain words that would otherwise mean something else if the characters are not small.
I liked it but there is no little ゃ,ゅ,ょ and there is no automatically Kanji,when I tip in hiragana it still in katakana and don't popup kanjis for the words There is no kanji, I tap こい and the kanji 恋 don't appear,no kanji appear. There aren't either maru or tenten dots. There are missing lot of things, it's not possible to the one write in Japanese with this keyboard.
I mean, its good. but.. I really dont like the option thing whenever i press a letter. it makes it slow. And I also dont like how it doesnt let us turn off auto capitalisation. Overall, I don't really like it, sorry.
It's good! Sometimes I can't find what I wanted but its fine! I can always find it on the internet somehow!. . . It's a bit odd to find the English at first! It's amazing though! :) When I first had the app I had to switch keyboards to use English but now I know how to ;-;
I love the idea. Nice layout, pretty backgrounds, but no dakuten or small hirigana. This makes it impossible when trying to type properly....
Not user friendly. I can't even type ganbatte because of the selection words. The word 'tsu' before the word 'te' supposed to be small but i don't know how to do it. Please repair to get higher ratings
ads, ads, ads. i know necessary but oh my god. learns words so badly had to turn prediction off completely. does i the job i guess though...
Really great app! I was looking for an app that would let me switch between kanji and romaji letters and this one worked
nice one but theres no small hiragana and katakana letter and the adds stays on the top of keyboard.i will surely purchase this if it has small katakaa and hiragana to use .

It doesn't combine hirigana characters and tenten and maru. It always leaves a space.
I don't even know that much Japanese and there aren't even enough letters for me to type beginner words.

You can't actually use it for most words in Japanese.
The main issue is its latency and no dukten icons .
There should be enable or disable option to auto correction

I really liked it at first but I noticed that some functions are missing. There is no dakuon, handakuon, and small letters. Those things are significant to construct words and sentences using hiragana and katakana. I will uninstall because I cant use it the way it is right now. I will install it again and rate it higher if the issues were already fixed.
