Japanese TV live

HONESTLY. It's a good app overall. It does what it's suppose to do. HOWEVER, there are channels that do not show or are laggy. I think it is not entirely the fault of the app, but the broadcast signal as well since other apps experience the same issue. This affects the overall use of the app. It has become unreliable. I hope the developer can do something, but it might be out of their control.

Advertisement keeps on popping out while using and after closing this app. Tokyo MX has NOT been added back for weeks. Please add back Tokyo MX and switch AT-X back to normal as soon as possible because I am now very frustrated. Hurry! Please add another channel, BS11.

The only station that works is the 24 hour news station and it stops playing after it reaches a certain point. All the others are always buffering and never can watch anything.

No longer working. Plays same clip upto 1 minute 30 second mark and then nothing. Shame really as it was a great app.

It was an amazing app. But now most of the channels buffer or get stuck. There is some or the other problem with all channels except one or two. Please check the streams and resolve the issue

Can't watch anything at all. All channel keeps buffering. Edit: May 2022 - It works most of tve time now.

Was good at one time but now your lucky to get any channels don't waste your time there are better apps out there.

For what it does, it does well. However, most channel options are not available, once clicked on an error message is all you get. Please fix this issue. Besides that there isn't really much else wrong with this app. It works well, play back is a little glitchy at times, but it's minimal and to be expected. Really, if this main issue of most channels being unavailable to watch is fixed, I will rate this 5 stars.

As a person who is currently learning Japanese, I've heard that watching Japanese media without subtitles is a good way to practice your translation skills. This app has a lot of options when it comes to TV channels. However, the user interface isn't really good though and I think its strange that it doesn't have an settings menu or anything. The app recently started having issues with the video player and it freezes from time to time. If there was a paid ad-free version, I'd definitely buy it.

So while it is true some channels are currently inaccessible, it seems to be of no fault of the app. The bigger channels do seem to have taken the effort to lockout access but other channels are still available. Don't know when, if ever, this issue will resolve but the app is trying its best. Update: It does have full functionality if you VPN in or, of course, are in country.

The best live Japanese TV app I have tried. Good choice of channels. Occassionally one or two channels don't work but it doesn't happen too often. Sometimes the screen freezes but it sorts itself out. I find these minor issues don't bother me much as I'm so happy I can now easily watch Japanese TV and the app is free! Screen is full size (not a tiny square like some apps) and I can easily use screen mirroring on my TV, if I prefer. Well done and thank you for this app. I love it!

I think this application is useful to an extent, but it is poorly-developed. It's not very interactable. The stream does not undergo relentless buffering, nevertheless, it still does so to some extent, and I would anticipate that this would result in some hectic delay in timing. Overall, an application developed that performs its required function, but developed with such lousy precision that it failed to care for a lot of the quasi-minor aspects expected to have been folded into this.

Works good on mobile but lacks any mouse/remote input support which makes it unusable on AndroidTV

I got to give 2 stars because as soon as I've installed the latest update I can't rely on its services any longer, as whichever channel I try to watch it just won't work anymore. Before this latest update it worked just fine, great video quality, all channels working and not lagging, but right after the update it stopped working.

From the beginning all the channels are okay, even mbs. And now almost every channel cannot play. Please fix this issue.

I was so happy that new channels like Disney and Animax were added to the list, but now they are not working at all... Please fix this!

Works better than any app I've come across for getting live Japanese TV. Occasionally some channels fail to play, hard to say whose fault that is though. Ads are to be expected, though they are a bit loud, usually much louder than the channel. Still, happy that it works.

So there is a lot of services that you can get with your fire stick or apple TV and you can purchase a package which will give you a majority of TV channels from Japan, however it isn't compatible with most devices and is $$$.However this app is good and other than the ads which aren't as frequent the app streams pretty good with NHK and NHK world being the best ones to stream on this app. Some channels take a minute to work, but for being free its pretty good. Theres just isn't a guide

I noticed that more channels have been added after the update. However, just like others said, I couldn't open any of them now. Hopefully, the developers could check the problem and solve it. What happened to Tokyo MX channel? It was considered as one of the best TV channels in Japan, and a few days later, it receives an error stating that it has stopped working. I want to watch SAO Alicization: War of Underworld by the time it arrives and I can't believe that the channel ended up in an error. Fix this as soon as possible! Side note: Add BS11, AT-X in the list.

Works very well but the orientation is stuck - you have to hold your phone a certain way which is upside down to how I normally watch stuff on my phone. for this annoying reason I won't be using this app much if at all.

The app does what it's supposed to do, however the user interface is somewhat lacking. One thing I've noticed after continuous use is that Animax no longer appears as one of the channels that can be watched

I just download the app and I like! Yes, it's true, some of the channels don't load and still on a white screen. I wish all of them would work, but I'm not complaining. Does in buffer? Yes. I hope they can add more channels and restore the ones that don't currently work.

I cannot watch any channel on my phone because of the intrusive ads that keep popping up every 10 seconds. I thought it would be the best app for watching Japanese TV in the Highest definition, but I was wrong.

this app has helped me stay updated with anime and live action shows I like. after update other channels went missing again (for example "MBS" and "Animax"). returning the missing channels would be really appreciated!
