The app is good but is restricted to the hiragana base. Do not include the diatricts "dakuten" 濁点 and "handakuten" 半濁点 (tenten 転々). Also, not include the palatalization "youon" 拗音. The app itself should change it name to "hiragana base writing wizard". Anyway, is terrible not be able to write simple basic words like だが、ただ、きゅう。。 I sent feedback to developers, regarding this fault. Hope them will update the app to include full hiragana chart as should be.
Would rather they just charge the $5.99 upfront, because otherwise there is no point to the app. Be prepared to pay the $5.99 or dont bother.
They might as well have us pay the money to buy the game bc it's a waste of time to download the app just to realize u have to pay money to learn the Japanese alphabet

I downloaded this for my 3 year old child and it has been very helpful- the locked features were easily worth the few dollars I paid. I only wish the developers would follow up by making another app for Katakana characters.
