Nice potential.. But everything constantly drifts while viewing it. Video, menu, anything. It all moves on its own and you have to constantly reset your view. I love the setup of this spp, the interface. Unfortunately this drift is too annoying and kills the experience for me. So i dont see myself using this app much and maybe uninstalling if they do not patch this soon
I downloaded the app it is not working with my daydream VR with Google xl phone. The app stack even didn't let me to close it. I had to shutdown my phone

Amazing app!!! Definitely recommend it. You can do almost anything with this app!!! Best VR game anyone could EVER have!!! Jaunt is basically all the VR games in one app!! If I could, I would put 10 stars!!! 5 stars for sure!!!!!
I tried to watch 8 different videos both are like 144p not 1440p hell i would clap my hands if there would be a 480p video..............

Absolute crap, it plays not even a single video from the list. Utter crap and useless app. Wasted my 15 minutes.
This app is great and I really enjoy it. The only reason I didn't rate it at 5 stars is because when I watch videos the quality is very poor. Idt it's my pixel or my internet connection because I watch clips on other apps and they seem fine.
Crashes on start on Oneplus 3T. Android 7.0 OxygenOS 4.0.3
I've been using Jaunt VR since it debuted and I really like what they are doing. This latest update crashes instantly and never loads. The J-VR update arrived the same day I updated to Nougat so I'm not sure if it's a Nougat thing or a J-VR update thing.
While I still recommend everyone keep this installed to show newbie friends, serious work needs to be done. I'm sitting literally 6 ft from my high end wifi router with 35 Mbps down and the audio crackles and the resolution of video is laughably low. Can there be an option to wait for the video to download in 4K or 1440p minimum?
Won't even start. I'm using a Google Pixel XL and it keeps forcing me to use Daydream. I don't have Daydream, I have Google Cardboard.
Videos glitch during playback and head movement causes video frame loss.
Won't load videos, I tried to watch it's always Sunny project badass and it will not load. It just keeps flashing a black screen for a split second then showing the next video. Even those videos will not load. I tried to go to the website the author put in others posts about this same issue to see the supported devices but it won't load either, just keep saying that the address is wrong.
The always sunny in philly vr game wont load at all. Just a black screen after i hit play. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstall to see if the app didnt load right and still i cant get the video to play just a black screen. I gave it 7 mins of black screen thinking maybe this app just takea forever to play but still nothing. Home screen worked great without issues until i hit to play a vr game then nothing.
Doesn't even start. When i try to start it it flashes a black screen for a second, then shuts down. Edit: how about listing supported devices in the description? Most people won't go to your website before trying the app and thus won't know their device is not supported, this is how you get bad reviews.
Junk. Only works on a handful of high-end end phones. Thanks for wasting my time and bandwidth.

I have the same issue. I can see the lobby videos load there. But when I choose something to watch it see it but it just sits there buffering and then ends the video and goes back to the lobby without even trying would like to see this get fixed after update the issue STILL persists
Jaunt vr is essentially a curated collection of videos delivered in a custom VR UI, so for me there's an expected level of quality. The videos are generally of good quality. Overall it's probably one of the better vr experiences available on android. Easy to use and better video quality than I've seen in most other apps. However, I do find the videos to be a little blurry and I wish they were delivered in a higher resolution. I also wish there was more customization as far as the stereoscopic view is concerned, like the ability to dial it down. It tends to bother my eyes and make me feel Cross-eyed at times. I do like the 3D effect it brings but I don't think there's a one size fits all answer with this kind of thing. All Jaunts' videos are stereoscopic so if that doesn't appeal to you for whatever reason then this isn't the app for you. I also am not a fan of having to constantly reset the view. This seems to be an issue a lot of vr apps have and I don't know why, but it is pretty annoying and takes me out of the experience. (I know I can just turn my head but that's also annoying, when forward is now suddenly right or left of where it was a scene ago) I also wish there was categories. I mean come on! You curate vr experiences and don't put the in categories?
