It needs an overhaul. FAQ very limited. I can not figure out a pattern lock for video that I didn't set up, and it won't take my password. Playback doesn't work. FAQs refer to upload bandwidth. I have fiber optic GB speed. Upload is great; I still cannot play back. I really like the camera. Good quality real-time viewing. The app needs help.

The camera works great, but the interface or sofware is not user friendly. I didn't have much problem during setup, but the utilities under settings, as well as the instruction manual are horrible. Trying to add another user, to be able to view the camera, has been a nightmare. Oh, forget about looking for guidence on the instruction manual, this is all it says about it: "Download the App, and register." Really! That's why I am giving, a 3 stars.

I bought a set of two cameras off Amazon. One worked well enough, had trouble getting the other camera to sync with the app. Ok fine. I left on the camera that I got working and it disconnects after half a day. Good thing I never hung them up! The app is hot garbage. Very clunky, slow loading (if ever), poor interface, poor English; doesn't load half the time; the other half the time the camera isn't connected. Camera itself seems all well and good but without a functional app it doesn't really matter.

I used this recommend app to connect two Amiccom cameras from Amazon. For the first hour I could not be more pleased and the connection process was easy. After that hour both cameras went "offline" and I have not been able to get them to reconnect. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and reset the cameras nothing has worked. All other connected devices on my network work fine. I am so disappointed. I had high hopes based on how easy it first was. I can't recommend this app.

The cameras work well and the image is pretty good, but the app... Every time i go into the app to take a look it gives an error and i have to get in and out of the app several times till it finally lets me in to view. Also the playback isn't an option within the open window only out of it. Having to select the day and time does not help at all as i should be able to just drag through the timeline to the point I want or need within the open view. Very annoying and frustrating and a waste of time

The app is completely useless, it is supposed to send notifications to my phone when movement is detected, I haven't received a single one so far. When you try to delete the useless Alert messages for some unknown reason a message pops up saying "Request failed". The timezone is inaccurate, it is one hour off. Not user friendly at all. My cameras work great, it's a shame that the app that controls them doesn't.

As everyone has noted, the app's biggest issue is a huge deal: you have to do backflips just to open it. Some have said they have to uninstall every time they need to open it and while I haven't quite experienced that, I DO have to open, close, force close, then open again to get it to work. That's insane. Otherwise, I mean, I GUESS it shows me my camera's feed but at this point its like saying "But was the play any good, Mrs. Lincoln?"

The app works sometimes, but there are some things that appear to be malfunctioning. For example, formatting the SD card seems to work, but on the UI the progress percentage hangs at 5%. There have also been times where I need to reboot the camera manually because the app can no longer detect the camera even though my wifi password did not change. I'm not sure whether the inconsistency in connection resides in the app or the camera firmware.

Everytime I want to use the app I have to uninstall it and reinstall it. Each time it fails it prompts me for feedback. I send a message and get no response. I send an email and get no response. I called the support line, left a message and got no response. The update says you fixed some bugs. You need to fix more! The camera provides a nice image, when I can see it, but the unreliable software makes it useless. The bad software leaves me with no choice but to return the camera to Amazon.

This app is horrible, it does not work properly on any of the devices I installed it on. The camera's motion detection picks up everything, but the app gives me an error message when I try to play back any of the clips.The best I can do is screenshot the thumbnails if anything looks suspicious. I emailed the developer at least a week ago, but I have not heard back from them. The camera seems to work well, but I'll be returning it since the app is garbage.

Had it a while now. Everything was working great. Good picture video and alerts. You could see them asap on phone. I don't know if it's the internet that is throwing things off now. But video has been freezing or not showing alerts. Shows offline, then when the power went out have to reprogram the device to set up again and it doesn't reset or has problems reprogramming. I hope the issues are resolved. Not a bad camera.

For the price I am very impressed. So I bought 3. I have it 4 stars because the controls are pretty sensitive. Just a nudge can make it turn 90 degrees. I wish it had auto pan and record for larger rooms. Two way audio works good and is loud. Night vision, motion alarm does well too. Overall I'm happy with them. Update: 08/21/2019 I have installed 2 of the 3 cameras. The 3rd camera refused to bind. So they sent another one day shipping to replace. A few tips. Make sure you have a SD chip inserted before beginning to bind. I found that with no chip inserted it WILL NOT BIND. At least out of the 20 times ive tried it was not successful. As soon as a chip was inserted it binded with no issues on the first try. Start the Sound wave after she says to start AND MAKE SURE IT IS VERY QUIET and place the phone right next to the camera. I do not suggest holding it as I found it could never get it to bind unless it was still. Doing this I have found you can bind the first try within 20 seconds. The unit will say binding successful, after a successful connection to the wifi. After that it should show on the screen that it was successful, may need refresh. If not start again.

Alarm not sending to phone. After getting it all set up yesterday everything worked great. But woke up this morning and no longer able to receive notification of when the camera has been triggered. It still records and keeps the data but no notification to phone. Have tired a reboot and tried resetting it and nothing works and all notifications on the phone and app are set to allowed. This is very annoying 😒

Bought two cameras on Amazon and the installation went relatively quickly. Worked great for about an hour, then suddenly couldn't sign in (app wouldn't do anything, just spinning wheel). Uninstalled and reinstalled twice - about 2 hours later it started working again. Then suddenly one camera only shows 10% of the area - the rest is gray. Disconnected and reconnected and it worked for about an hour, then lost half the screen again. Then couldn't log in to app again. This is complete garbage!

The app doesn't stay connected to the camera. Every time I try to reconnect the camera to the app it says "binding unsuccessful." Everything worked perfectly fine when I first got the camera and up until a few weeks ago, when I went on the app to view the camera it was offline. Tried reconnecting but keeps saying "binding unsuccessful."

Horrible app experience. It has a good picture. However it hardly ever fully loads past 99% hence i cant view whats going on & whenever i get an alert to motion & go to review it; if it loads, theres nothing there other than just the view of the camera, it doesnt take an image of the motion manually so you have no idea what the movement was that actually activated the camera. I do not recommend this app for the cameras & if i had any other option to view, i would! Do NOT recommend!

Lacking as of now. On Android devices the video does not auto rotate when viewing, which is strange since it does on Apple devices. It also doesn't allow to change the order of the cameras on the menu. These issues need to be addressed. Developers really need to the app to work as well as the cameras do.

Love the camera I bought. But this app is terrible! Always days the camera is offline. Says it's not connected. And the settings keep changing from what I had them on. Every time I go into the app I need to change the timezone back to CST(which is the default) it is always on GMT everytime I open the app. Camera goes offline whenever I make a change in the alarm settings. I only ever get a notification alert on my phone when I am actually in the app looking live. I never get an alert otherwise.

Well first off when you go to the website, it's in Chinese characters, and there's no way to translate it. It will not let me sign in there's no way to use this app anymore, translate it from Chinese it says Page notfound. Ican copy & paste it into another window of Google and translate it, and it tells me that there's an error. There's nowhere to sign in, nothing to click on, I guess the app is broke, it's not able to be used at all. I want my money back, can't use the camera, it's in Chinese

This app is stagnant with no recent updates. Needs work. One HUGE problem as far as I am concerned is that the playback function is horrible. There is no way to find an event during playback without actually watching or manually scanning the video.

Perfect working app. Very easy to use. You have to connect your phone and camera together using this app. You can format your SD card using the app as well and works perfectly. Sounds like bad reviews are pure human error, this was a piece of cake to set up and use! Thank you so much for this awesome app!! I'd give 10 stars if I could, can't wait to hook up more camera's in the future.

This app has not been updated since 2020. I've reported it to customer service and obviously nothing has happened. It freezes all the time! I will not be using this anymore. Will be purchasing another camera. I've kept it this long cause I thought things would change. If you want to have slow response and constant freezing from a camera that's supposed to secure home, feel free to use this app🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

So far ok, few app crashes/offline errors. **needs** gallery with dates instead of the date select, very annoying when you aren't sure of an intrusion, esp if camera was offline and motion was detected during the alarm times. Two cam wifi drops in 2 months, be nice if the app could alert you if the If cam drops. If you use do-not-disturb and use it at night for alerts be sure to add the app as an exception. Also sd card seems to fill up despite setting it to record when my shop is locked.
