Jaxx Liberty: Blockchain Wallet

At first this wallet app looks pretty useful. Looks great. Wished it worked half as well as it looks. When sending coin, the app throws up too many errors. I can make one transaction, then to do a second, i have to go into app settings and do a "force stop" to do another. To many steps to complete a transaction. Receiving errors like that also instills a lack of trust in the app and it's security. .....in reply to their reply. That was the latest updated version at that time. What a joke.

Decent App. App does have a not-quite- finished feel to it with a lot of potential towards the future. Having multiple phones able to administer and use a portfolio is a great feature. Anoying bug doesnt count all assets towards total portfolio value. Without that bug the App would be four stars easy. If next to that "markets", would be filtered on configured portfolio coins only, and "news" could be disabled, the App could even have been worth 5 stars. Much potential.

*Update: It's not syncing with the new update installed, it's stalling at the blue welcome screen, It's not opening with certain smart devices and reinstalling it ends up with the same results so far.* Original review: A great wallet system, secure and easy to use, a great place to view the market as well, helpful upbeat community, a good insider news source as well. :)

Something is wrong with the app. One of the wallets constantly drops to zero in a second, sometimes it takes a refresh and sometimes a few refreshes then the amount will come back. Sometimes even the Total Holdings doesn't add up. Can someone help? Thanks.

I like it but there's no way to swap from 1 coin to another even tho it says it can. Works as a multi wallet, but you got to figure out how to exchange them on their own. Edit: gave them another star, clunky app, but overall more ambitious than other wallets where it comes to versatility & I appreciate jaxx for that. Edit again: froze my wallet. No customer service. Do not use this app

This app continually requires being uninstalled and re-installed. It is very scary because your coins seem trapped at times. Pretty much every update I have to uninstall the whole thing and reinstall it, then re-pair my wallet. So far (this has happened five times this year) once I do a COMPLETE wipe and reinstall things work. But the app is also messy and leaves peices of itself lying around during updates. I have had to manually delete lots of folders. Some.cant even be deleted

This app seems to keep getting worse over time. The trade function doesn't work for the same currencies the old app does and they outsourced the trade so they can't control the feature which made the old version good. Now looking at the value of your wallet seems to be a random number generator instead of reliable information. The percentage loss and gains don't even line up with inaccurate pricing that drastically changes that doesn't match other sites like cryotcompare in real time.

I saw many wallets with exchange features, and this one is probably the best! In June 2020 this app works very well, no bugs or issues as I can see. It's very simple to use, small fees, good support by email and on Twitter. I've just exchanged 2,000 USD worth coins at once, because I'm 100% sure it's safe. Important! Connect app with Shapeshift, so you will have no issues with transactions like many people wrote here. Go to Menu, Tools, Third party authorization.

Annoying interface can't even restore my wallet. Having separate input boxes for each word means no automatic password manager or a mission of multiple copy and pastes, 24! Hopefully by the time it expires they will have made this app more user friendly... How frustrating. Please add the option to use 12 separate edit boxes or a 13th complete one. Surely this way you cover both types of users and is a quick 2 minute fix.

Jaxx offers one of my favorite Wallets! The mobile app synchronizes seamlessly with the desktop version using only a Backup Seed, or QR almost instantly. I also love the Jaxx Liberty interface! It's clean, it's functional, and it is a wallet solution I will use for years to come, along with some other favorites. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a secure wallet solution, compatible with a lot of currencies.

Used to be good. As of 2020 it keeps getting buggier. I see posts online of people complaining about lost funds quite regularly. Jaxx was almost always incorrectly synced with the blockchain, making it impossible to read my actual balance or to confirm the success of a transaction. The worst aspect of the app is the automatic miner fees (there is 3 settings, high/med/low). Since they adjust with the current average TXN fees. I once had to pay $200 miner fee for a $2000 BTC transfer!

Two major concerns: app will let you make a trade when the network fee takes your trade amount below the minimum, freezing your trade in limbo until you get help from Changelly support (excellent customer service from them, incidentally, you might consider using their app instead of this one). Also network fees are ridiculously high and not very visible. I had a bad experience with this app and if Changelly had not stepped in and resolved my issue I would have uninstalled it already.

An app with the hope of a future that never arrived. After 3 solid years the app is not what it appeared to be at first. Long enough is just that. Open the Jaxx Rewards benefits inside the app. It has not budged and does not look like it ever will, based on Jaxx team email correspondence this rating is fact accountable and recent info as of Jan 2022. Good Luck on future events hope you get it situated. A great question to ask so I did. I was updated and its a bummer.

2 stars for the new look,but it doesn't update the actual value of your portfolio and it shows the value of your wallet that you initiate at the beginning. Sorting this problem anytime soon? update. will do. also i see eos being in the wallet as well. is it working as i didnt registered last year to move the tokens at least not completly. tnx

This deserves negative stars. This app is the absolute worst. I could not transfer from one coin to another. Support was no help at all. I recieved an error code and was emailed a list of 10 possible things it could be. I uninstalled the app and still no success, even after trying on an apple device. I would not suggest this anyone.

good but not perfect....wallet price is not updating based on live market price, also it's not convenient to open app without security screen(touch ID must included for the entrance), although transactions not updatin automatically and you have to do it manually...overall speed can be better than that...by the way, I'm just sharing it because I have trust in jaxx team and wanna see the best app,not just the good one.

I have over 2200 storm token in this app that still don't reflect properly in my wallet. I can see them, but can't transfer them, nothing, because it's as if they dont even exist in the wallet. Have tried multiple times to have the balance reflected properly via support to no avail. Dont keep any coins in this "wallet". You will NEVER get them out of it.

Folks need to follow instructions and contact support before leaving crappy 1 star reviews because they had one little issue. App works great, can be a little slow sometimes but not typically the fault of the developer. Switch from Classic was a bit more work than I expected but I followed the instructions and everything worked out just fine. Blockchain delays are normal for any crypto transfer, not the fault of the developer. Someone getting your passphrase is not Jaxx's fault.

Not sure why this app is getting so many bad reviews. Customer service was f great to me, they helped me move my BCH out when I was having difficulties. Very Fast responds time and helpful af. Using it for years and haven't had a problem with it. People just need to email them before posting a negative review lol.

If you could incorperate new placement of the refresh buttons would be great. Some of my devices wont allow me to refresh the info because broken screens wont allow me to interact with the portion of the screen where it is currentlly located. Other than that no complaints.

Not good app anymore, it keeps getting worse and worse each update, additionally not helpful support team who, imo, not caring about users and their experience via their app, years ago the app was better. To learn that you can't send/receive your assets out of blue due to area restrictions, though you were receiving assets few months ago is what considered a bad expirience, in my opinion, and there were no notification or alert about upcoming restrictions.It was going on within one country.

Make a transfer to the wallet is easy. But transfer to a trading platform is very expensive and takes for ever or keeps pending status in which time you can't use the coins. Tried to transfer 3 times from TUSD to ETH with no success, again... coins are stuck in limbo. Will try to get all coins out and put them in a platform that actually works.

This is the digital version of that pants with a hole in the pocket. I have been afk for a year and when I returned my tenx don't exsist anymore. The os is fairly bad as well compared to the classic version. I would avoid this app!!

this doesn't seem secure at all. i logged in this morning and all my btc have been stolen. I used the QR code from the windows app to sync to my phone. The real problem is the lack of security options. No prompt for a password EVER, no 2 factor authorization, no alerts of any kind. In hindsight it must have been incredibly easy for someone to have stolen my funds.

Mobile app hangs on the title screen. Windows app works fine, tho. Have to use PC for a while, hope this problem will be fixed soon. // My internet works just fine for any other app (including Windows PC); how about fixing this bug instead of suggesting workarounds?
