I have the Vista 2 and have loved them until recently. Best buds I've ever owned until now. They are practically useless these days. Plagued by connectivity issues and inconsistent play back. Sometimes takes 10 to 15 minutes to resolve the lack of audio. Random disconnects during use makes fitness use full of distraction. Miserable user experience. I'm close to abandoning the product and company at this point which is very frustrating. Why is there no priority to fix this known issue?!?!

No sound comes out of the buds. For awhile I could unpair and repair them with my Pixel 6 Pro to fix it but now that doesn't help. Neither does deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't help. Checked phone settings, volume is up, not on mute, and it claims to be paired. I hear the connected/ disconnected prompts just no audio from paired phone/music app. Please fix this and send out an update. PS. The Jaybird Support Bot on their website is buggy and won't let you submit for assistance.

I've had my Vista 2s for about 8 months now. Started great, but it's gone down hill quickly. They're rather difficult to switch between devices, they're very temperamental about being connected to a different device. They can't be reset without the case, which isn't great on a distance run when they lose connection. 1 MAY the sound quality went to complete garbage. I've done full factory resets and repaired with 3 different devices, no luck. I'm going back to my Bose earbuds.

I love my jaybirds. The sound quality, fit, durability, and battery life are all great. The only thing I wish was better is the 'find my jaybirds' function. I usually only use one bud at a time and want to be able to find each bud and the case independently at any time. It doesn't make sense to only be able to find the buds when they're connected and on.

Terrible app, don't install and your buds will work. It causes a lot of problems for Android 12. The buds will stay connected, but won't play audio. For example, if you switch between apps the audio will stop even as the video or music continues to play. Also scrolling through reddit or Instagram the audio will only work if you pair the buds while viewing the post, then as you move to the next posts the audio will not work. The app works on older versions of Android however.

Jaybird I am only leaving this review for the vista 2s. You have to change your code for active pause. It consistently picks up when an earbud is taken out, but struggles to resume when earbuds are in. If I put an earbud back in, and music doesn't begin to play, and I manually press play, the code needs to override the pause setting and play to the buds. As of now, if I put buds in and press play the music/video will continue on my device without audio. It's super frustrating.

If you've come to the reviews because you're losing audio, it's not your phone. It's this app. Switching between apps causes audio loss and it doesn't come back until you disconnect and reconnect. Annoyingly, on the Vista 2's the headphones default to allow audio in through the mic built in if you uninstall. What a shame. Amazing headphones hindered by terrible software. If I had known, I wouldn't have upgraded to the Vista 2's

Almost every time I pause audio or change between apps that are playing sound, the earbuds stop playing anything. I have to toggle some setting in the app to seemingly "wake" the earbuds up and then it will play again. Very frustrating to be unable to pause music without having to keep opening the jaybird app, change some setting, then switch back to another app to resume.

The Vista 2 works better without this app. Anytime my music is paused (taking an earbud out, or another app forcing priority for sounds, or even manually pausing) my earbuds are incapable of outputting music again without reconnecting the earbuds on bluetooth. I don't have any issues without this app. I've returned my first pair of Vista 2 thinking it was faulty, but it turns out the problem is the app.

Complete garbage. With a full charge, updated firmware and with all hardware within two feet of each other, you'll randomly lose audio often enough to wish you bought a wired pair of buds from a gas station. Want more than an hour of uninterrupted audio? Look elsewhere, you won't find it here. Switching to three other apps at random seems to help, dunno why, but you'll still have to do it hourly, more if you take an earbud out. That's an instakill for some reason. Don't waste your time.

Edit: App messed up, it doesnt even allow me to redo the personal EQ, even though the option is there. I press it and it just exits the redo/edit screen instead of taking you to a screen where you can redo your EQ. The only redeaming feature and its broken..... The equalizer is a bit standard when it comes to the options, however, the custom EQ option is definitely a saving grace. Especially with my tinnitus and minor hearing loss.

I love these earbuds and always recommend them. I have only one issue and it's being able to redo my personalised EQ. I was able to make one when I first got them and I wanted to redo it and for whatever reason when I click on the redo option nothing happens. Would appreciate some sort of explanation/help for a resolve. Other than that, really solid and rugged earbuds.

So far so good... I just bought the Vista 2 ear buds yesterday and they are super comfy and stay very secure in your ears. The app that controls them is ok...not great. I wish their were more options on how to control/change the single tap, double tap, long press...etc. I will update the review after I have them for a few months. I was going to write this review after using it for a few months, but Jaybird put the review request right on my Apps homepage.

I really like the app does a great job of letting me access so many different options on my headphones. When I first got them I thought they were ok and then discovered this app and now I'm loving my jaybirds. Being able to locate my headphones if I drop them is a huge plus also having the flexibility to adjust my eq settings depending on what I'm listening to has made it amazing. Definitely recommend this app and they're products.

They work great but the volume of the voice and tone prompts in these is SO loud. It's really annoying and it's not great to be blasted about your battery being 40% while you're listening to a sleep cast, which is what I mainly use these for. I wish the app could adjust the volume of these prompts.

Spoke too soon. Very unstable performance when the app is running (only way to get the equalizer to work). Often no audio output after pairing when the app auto launches. If I take an earbud out I often have to power cycle to get audio output again. Never happened before Android 12 & feedback provided via email as previously requested.

I have the Vista 2 earbuds, and to be honest, I had a pair of $100 earbuds from SoundCore by Anker, and they were 10x the audio quality, with far less issues. If you have an Android, DO NOT BUY!!! These headphones stay connected, but you lose all sound and have to put them back in the case, or go into your settings and manually disconnect and reconnect them to get the sound back, and it isn't guaranteed to work every time. Waste of money, been 8 months and still no Firmware update for Android

App is really good! User friendly, also convenient to change things and make adjustments. The Jaybird Vista 2s on the other hand could use an update to firmware they are still buggy on the Android platform. Having to constantly disconnect and reconnect inorder to get them working again.

Jaybird Vista 2 - Sound Issue when switching Apps, Turns off sound when going back and forth through apps on Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G after pausing music. I have to force disable the app and clear cache or either uninstall the app entirely to get audio on YouTube, Poweramp, Messenger, Instagram, etc to work. Garbage. I use the app to choose diff eq presets and the notification displaying battery levels is useful. With this broken issue for Vista 2, it ruins user experience. 4.0.10 doesn't work

I like the original ear buds. These have improved the microphone. But still has problems accepting different apps (youtube music) it will play the music but I have to manually switch the connection off then back on then works fine. Small inconvenience

I have had these for a few months and now my phone will detect the earbuds but can't communicate with them at all. Several resets and app reinstall have not fixed the issue. Using a Google Pixel 6.

Bought, because I wanted earbuds that had noise cancelling ability... to tume out the, " just driving down the road" wind sound that all earbuds seem to pick up on. To be fair... these are Alot Better.. altho.. Still has a good bit of background white noise that still comes through..... so better.... just NOT Great Reading the label, I was Expecting Great... which supported Paying double.... Compared to All Others... without trying BOSE. so we'll see Bill
