DISCLAIMER: There is no 'in-app' drawing, this app is an accompaniment to your drawing sessions to be used for generating ideas and challenges.
The ARTY GAMES app features:
- Multiple Profiles (each with materials and game/app settings)
- Single Play Mode with 8 fun game options (Time limit optional)
- Arty Party Mode for Rapid-Fire Art Challenges!
In Single Play Mode you can play with or without a time limit and challenge yourself with one of eight fun idea generation and art practice games.

- COLOR CHALLENGE:The Color Challenge game assigns you between 1-5 colors you’re limited to creating your artwork with. The game generates these colors from the colored materials you add to your Arty Games profile such as paint and color pencils. You can also add Markers by brand (Copic, Mepxy, ProMarker, Prismacolor or 'Other') and build your materials from the official colors and sets for each brand! That way you can Play games like the 3-marker challenge without messing up your collection of markers!

- CHARACTER CHALLENGEThe Character Challenge generates random combinations of Character Designs and Scenarios for you to draw. These can turn out funny, or epic – and there are billions of combinations to be explored!

- ENVIRONMENT CHALLENGEThe Environment Challenge generates a scene for you to draw based in either an Interior or Exterior environment.

- INCREMENTAL DESIGNIn the Incremental Design challenge, you draw a character’s head or body in 5 stages which are revealed one by one, so you won’t know what the final design will be until the very end – surprises lie in store!

- SCRIBBLE CHALLENGEThe scribble Challenge generates a random doodle for you to copy down and turn into a work of art.

- COPY CHALLENGEIn the Copy challenge, you are given an image to reproduce as closely as possible, which will help your observation and drawing skills, and can be a good warm-up to a drawing session too!

- DESIGN MIXThe Design Mix challenge presents you with two random items which you must thematically or aesthetically combine in a creative way.

- CUSTOM GENERATORThe Custom Generator allows you to build your own lists to generate ideas and games from. The possibilities are LITERALLY endless!

ARTY PARTY MODE:This mode is great to challenge yourself in, or play with a group of friends. Simply select the number of challenges you want to play and the level of intensity – (be warned, 'Intense' is named that for a reason!), and after you pick the games you want to be included, hit GO and get ready for a mashup of insane challenges that will test the skill of even the most experienced artists.

Its a really cool way to break the " what do I draw" state, when you finally have the time. (The scribble challenge is a personal favorite of mine.) And the app can even be used as a challenge between friends. Could be usefull to have a way to import premade lists in the custom generator, it seems cumbersome to write/copy each entry one by one. Still, at least it gives you a way. In my opinion the app is quite usefull and as a bonus, a great way to support Jazza.
It's so good, so many games to pick from and great to get through art block. The only problem I have is when I try to pick my materials for the colour challenge, the thing that pops up glitches and keeps disappearing and only certain parts will reappear. But thats my only complaint and no one else seems to have that problem so I'll say its only me.
I wish there was more variety for the art products you're using when it comes to colors. I don't have any of the markers listed and I'm surprised that Ohuhu isn't listed. And having any color be an option would be cool since digital art exists. Other than that, it's a really good way to get optionally timed art prompts that'll help improve drawing skills.
Jazza's Arty Games is a fantastic app for coming up with new ideas, practicing art skills, and randomly generating prompts for art and writing. I wish it would not fade out, but that might be correctable in the app settings and/or phone settings. I do wish there was a way to share what one creates by uploading photos, files, etc. with moderated community critiques. The idea may be beyond the scope of the intended design, however. All being said, wonderful app!
Everything about this....game..?....is amazing. It helps people who struggle to come up with cool, unique ideas, and challenges them to draw it, which is just awesome. The only negative thing I have to say about 'Jazza's Arty Games' is that, in the custom generator, you are limited to only five terms. Another thing is that, since you are only limited to five terms, I think you should be able to make many generator lists, instead of just the one, or fix the last point I made.
It's a fantastic concept and does it's job. As a long term fan and owner of the game I think there should be more materials as you have much more than is here but that could be copyright issues so I won't take off stars. I would like some watercolor or more paints because the colors are a bit limited in my experience. Other than that fantastic game I love what's there ❤️
Absolutely brilliant! I love the versatility and the unique ways this app can be personalised to suit my individual colour palette, resources and situation. The platform is easy to use and navigate and the overall aesthetic is appealing and fun. I've found that the random character and environment generator has even come in handy with my story writing. It really does get those imaganitive juices flowing. The kids in my art class love it too. Top marks JAG.
I just bought the app and I must say, this has to be THE best app for drawers! So many options to get inspiration from. The best way to start with your drawing sessions and get into drawing again. Can't wait to get back into it! Thanks Jazza for understanding what people are looking for and making it a fun experience!
Unfortunately, the new design is absolutely lovely but it hurts the performance. I stopped using the app because of that. I absolutely can't even use any menus, any other apps like pinterest for reference, or exit the app, and it sometimes crashes my wallpaper bringing it back to default. I do not think I need a "gaming" phone to run a simple app. However, if this huge performance issue is only my problem, please let me know what I can do to fix it.
This app is great.It has so many features to help artists struggling with art block, but one problem I have with it is with the materials, I'm tring to add my markers,which are made by Ohuhu, but i'm not able to add them. I was looking forward to the color challenge the most in this app. It'd be great if you could add Ohuhu markers into this app.
I love it! It has a lot of features that other apps Don't have, though I have a suggestion for it; if possible perhaps create more prompts? for example one that has a choice of drawing certain animals and one that makes you create a creature from 2, 3, or even 4 different animals.
The app is great, not only for party (if you have friends who wanna participate) but even if you have an art block. I've used its older version on iOS before. This one is much better! But there are still things that are missing. And I know that those things take times and resources. For example markers set. There are some big brands like promarkers, copics or prismacolor available. There is even mapxy (?) which I've never heard of, but there are no ohuhu or even Spectrum Noir markers.
A great app to help with your creative flow and art sessions, pretty much bought it when it was first released and been meaning to write a review for a while now, but I like the updated look. The other thing is it allows you to add in your supplies so you can do color palette challenges and the like. It'll be interesting to see if more brands have been added to the supplies listings. Overall if you are in a creative rut, this app has plenty of options to get your creative juices flowing.
As I do love this app very much, i've been trying for a while not to figure out and see if there were any way to add Ohuhu markers into the game for the coloring challenge, I could not figure it out. I guessed possibly if not already there, there were some wag to add a color individually as it is for any color on your own. I couldn't figure that our either guessing maybe that wasnt possible. If either of these features were to be added it'd be a big help for me. I mainly use Ohuhu markers and the color challenges are always my fave. Thank you for this app I love it otherwise. <
I love this jazza. But, I have a Moto G6 Play and the contents are sometimes clipped out of the screen. Like, when you press play the splatter then doesn't fill my screen. The stopwatch when selecting the amount of time you want is a bit cut off. But I still love it so so much!!
This app is ok. I'd love to see other colored pencil options available besides Prismacolor, such as Polychromos and Luminance. Additionally, the color palette's for colored pencils didn't seem to coordinate very well. I have the full set of Prismas. I only have about 50 Copic markers and the colors generated for the markers seem to coordinate better, but that could be because I chose certain colors when I purchased them that went together. Good ideas for drawing though, inspires creativity.
I already love it. It gives me some fun and ridiculous ideas that i keep trying out. I've had bad artist block and this helped me loosen up and feel much better. Good for a laugh and just a change to what you're used to. My issues, the copy it challenge is pixilated and some parts can be blocked on the top lefthand corner, and the colors are not very helpful, i have a variety of color pencils in different brands, but id rather have a general color for the color pencils and copic specifics for copic markers. Overall i had fun for the first time in a long while with my drawing and got me to feel much better and not take it too serious but still try it and succed even if it my drawing looks ridiculous. Im very happy with it.
I've started doing this as part of a daily drawing challenge. I find setting the timer and doing each challenge means I don't procrastinate about the details and instead get the core elements down and then refine it. Several drawings I almost gave up on but carried on and got a pretty good result.
Hey! Jazza! I love the app so much... Buuuut I would like if you could turn on and off the silly/epic parts off the enviroment and character challanges. So right now everything is a bit silly bucause all the silly stuff is turned on but if you made it a setting I could just draw off epic prompts. I am trying to be a concept artist and i' d like to get to choose when I do silly stuff. Other wise I mostly use the custom generator.
I'd like to be able to see different ways to add your materials and colours. It looks like it uses the copic marker system. I don't use copic, not that I feel left out, but it's difficult to add my colours. I do a lot of colour pencil and watercolour. I'd like to see sub categories eg paint; watercolour, oil, acrylic. And to see other brands eg Faber-Castell, Mont Martre, Winsor & Newton. If not to use their number system but maybe just have colour names. Other than that great for ideas.
I absolutely love this app. I've been subscribed to Jazza on youtube for quite a while. I've seen this a few times on the channel and I've wanted to download it for a while. I'm very glad I finally did. It opens the door to creativity. I'm far from a professional, but I draw with and for my children nearly every day and sometimes I just don't have a clue, but that won't be an issue any longer. Thank you Jazza :)
great app for people who want warm up or have fun getting your creativity going 1 thing I think you should add jazza is when you make a custom list, in the custom generator, is to be able to add numbers with the new art supplies that have come out like the artist loft and ohuhu markers it would be nice to be able to use those for color challenges. entering them now is a long and tedious process and since they are a cheaper alternative to copic and so more people may have a use for those options
Amazing app for getting ideas to draw! Not much else to say. Maybe one feature that would be nice is a popup window for being able to use on android tablets for reference. But other then that can't think of much else that would be needed!
Amazing! not only does this help me get my ideas flowing, but it also creates very interesting challenges that can end up amazing or funny. though at first I thought it was meant to draw on the screen but then again, I don't like drawing on phones
I thing this is a good app for artist who have reached a variety block and are stuck on drawing multiple designs. So far it's pretty rough for me to draw exactly everything on the challenges but I hope that this will help me stop drawing one thing over and over lol. Pretty good app and love the YouTuber who made it, they help me feel better about my own art when I think it's trash so thanks Jazza for helping me through your videos and this app!
This is an AMAZING app!! It really helps me whenever I can't think of what to draw, and it greatly improves my artistic capabilities! And by the way, all you people who say "It won't let me draw on it!!!" and all that bullcrap, just gonna let you know, you have to draw it on paper, people!!!! It ain't that difficult! plus, there's a disclaimer in the description that SPECIFICALLY says that you can't draw in the app!! At least read the whole description BEFORE you buy an app!!!!!!!! P.S. Jazza, I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! Thank you so much for making this app! It took me a while, but I finally got it, and it is great!! Again, THANK YOU!!!!!!
Really good prompts and challenges, but I wish you could type in the markers that you have instead of having to choose from a list of colors. That would be useful for people who don't have the more well-known brands of markers or pencils, and would be an easier way to log the colors that you have.
Doesn't scale to the screen. I often feel like theres something at the top of the screen that im missing. It doesnt seem like it hinders functionality, but i have noticed sentences that are cut off at the top.
I love this, it's such a great boon for everyone art-interested who struggles with practicing routinely due to a lack of ideas, but one problem I've noticed is that you can't skip to the next prompt before the time's up, though I've noticed Jazza use a button on his videos for exactly that...
I love Jazza and this app! The app has so many options to customize, randomize, mix and match, etc. I never have to sit and think, "What should I draw?" It sometimes gets too specific for me! But the drawing ideas really do help your imagination and increase your skills as an artist. You will definitely be drawing things that never would have crossed your mind before and it is a blast!
