JBL Music

Thank you JBL for a great sounding EXTREME 2 but this app is just lacking and lagging in the competition! Obviously, you can do much better than this. Maybe an app that can control the speaker's on/off/wake/sleep function, shows battery level, has equalizer function and presets too. Also, would be nice to have Spotify integration and other music streaming apps. But i guess you already know these things, don't you?😁

What's the point of this app? I don't need another music player program, and this is not an impressive one anyways. It doesn't update firmware for my speaker. This app doesn't offer equalizer or sound shaping. Not sure I see the point of this app. Nobody needs a music player app, it's built in the android os. You boast "stream music through your favorite service and play over Bluetooth".. Uhm yeah, that's how Bluetooth works and not anything special to do with your app. What a waste of time.

This is s music player with an incredibly cumbersome interface. Everything this music player does can be done quicker and easier with the app that came already on the phone. The advertised equalization function is nowhere to be found. Same with updating the speaker's firmware. JBL speakers are fantastic. Their apps... not so much.

Dear JBL Team, I think this app need update for properly responding on wired headphone button presses.....music stops after pressing the button but no other function of play, next, previous etc. is possible using remote button. Also the app feels lagy and library management is lacking. Music wise it is still a simply excellent app. Kindly resolve above issues (GalaxyM30 & C200si).

Im using Note8 .. Equalizer not working (only volume control + and - )... and library completely resets and wipes out of app memory everytime i turn off the app.. totally pointless.. i can work my volume directly from phone and play the music from phone library... why i need this app...

The volume is not functioning properly now. I have to put the volume on my phone very high to hear any sounds out of the speaker. I am using an Samsung 9s+. My ipad has no issues with the volume level.

It's kind of hard at first to get it set up with your speakers but once you get there it's pretty neat. Sometimes speakers will disconnect while you're using them which is kind of annoying. Hopefully JBL works on making it even better.

Garbage app from a garbage company. Bought a device and had issues. Downloaded this app (they have multiple in the app store and it's not clear which you should get so I downloaded many before finding the right one) due to issues with my new speaker. This app can't even recognize the speaker. Reached out to support and when asked to choose the product from a drop down menu, the product was not listed (JBL Charge Essential).You make this product but don't even support it? Rep told me to return it

Such a stupid app. It doesn't do anything anymore. You can't edit the light effects, the connection isn't good. The app says there is firmware upgrade for my pulse speaker and then 'there is no internet'. Totally nonsense and stupid. How could there be no internet when my phones etc etc is already connected? Just dumb. Sadly it seems JBL had given up on the apps development. Oh well, that's the end of this company then as most of your customers are very pissed now.

Completely useless. Its so laggy i cant even click it properly, app functions are pretty useless and cant connect to spotify either. Better off just connecting the speaker via bluetooth and using it straight away. This app is a waste of storage space on phone.

5 stars for the audio quality 2 stars for the app usability. Cons: App is not updated for android 10. UI is not easy to use. App is also not smooth. Lacks option to search songs.

This app is a amazing, wonderful. Afyer installation, it took only less than 30 seconds to uninstall it. Its a brilliant product designed for apes, not for technologically advanced world.

the earphones were suppose to have built in mp3 player. but it doesnt work, so we need the phone, which is quite annoying when the earphones are supposed to be waterproof so that we can go to swim

Absolutely worthless. I was hoping for some EQ controls for my JBL Link 10, but this app is basically just a very subpar music player with no EQ, and no useful features whatsoever. Very disappointed.

Completely sh$%tty service! JBL are SO lazy and cheap they won't update drivers to install on newer phones. Their damd speakers aren't cheap and yet they seem to expect people to keep wasting money and resources for newer speakers so they can line their pockets. I will NEVER reccomend or buy another of your products if you don't get with the times and actually support your own products without bleeding people for profit!! SO pissed-off at you!!

I was hoping to find some nice apps to use with my new Pulse speakers, but this app hasn't been updated since 2018 and doesn't run on my phone anymore. (Moto G6+, Android 9).

whenever opening the app, it prompts a message: "this app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly". There is no support for android 9

Just purchased the JBL 650 BTNC fabulous headphones, and was yet again, very dissapointed at another music player that doesn't play online streaming applications, who doesn't have an online app music player nowadays? It's becoming rather annoying... and am not even going to mention the sound managing tools.... I am just wondering what good use anybody would make of this app.

With Hands-Free/Hands-Off regulations, it is necessary for such apps to allow remote control from the vehicle's steering wheel controls. This app does not respond to the PLAY command in my '09 Ford Escape or '11 Ford Focus.

JBL was one of the prime systems of the 60's,70's. 80's. Always depend upon and true life performances. I remember those days when you least expect things to see doby A,B,C, Hx Pro, besides there was another player in the league. They're step to step with Sony, back in those days.

Useless app. Works really slow. Only allows to play music which most phones have plenty of apps for. No options for changing anything on the flip 5

Some heads need to roll over at JBL. C'mon whoever approved and released this garbage app needs to go. JBL are you at all interested in building confidence with your customers? You're an electronics company whose products should be built to create an amazing experience. This apps creates a boring, messy, inadequate one. I seriously expected to be looking at a smooth streamlined app with a chalk full of tools to add benefit for the users of your speakers.

WantEd an easy way to update my pulse 3 which keeps cutting out for no reason. Absolutely worthless, annoying waste of time. I think a few people at jbl need to be fired and replaced with someone competent. Aggravated.

Unsupported Junk. If a JBL product still works (Pulse) they don't care. It's not updateable, but the app continues to ask you to update. So it won't work at all. JBL is famous for this. Won't buy their products again.

I love !jBL Speakers! ❤ Easy to use this app but no Equalizer.... Please add Graphic Equslizer to tweak the sound of the speaker, more convenient if 30 Band Eq if possible. Thanks!

only good thing about this player is sound ,user experience bad, no recently added songs, and it could be much better, UI decent , minimalistic like it.

Waste of time, JBL need to improve app quality to match up with their speakers. Doesn't not work with flip 4 or extreme 2. Very laggy and not user friendly.
