• MY ANALYSES to compare your last five measurements with own my JBL account.Here’s how it works:Start the app and enjoy its fast reading, precise analysis and innovative technology which has never been seen in this form before for the analysis of water values.Use the enclosed specially calibrated JBL PROSCAN ColorCard and follow the instructions in the app. You can manage your aquariums and ponds under MY ANALYSES and you can save and compare the measured values using the history function. Now you can access this data from all over the world even without smartphone with the help of your myJBL account. Under QUICKSCAN you can carry out a quick test. The following water types are available for you in the app: “Aquarium Freshwater”, “Garden Pond” and “Water”. When you select “Aquarium Freshwater” and “Water”, the app will also use the measured pH and KH values to calculate the current CO2 content in the water, as an added bonus.
Depending on the analysis result of „Aquarium Freshwater“ and „Garden Pond“, you will receive individualized recommendations telling you which JBL products will help you to set the ideal/optimal water values. With “Water” you will get a simple summary of the results without an evaluation of your water sample.Important:
• Scan the analysis strips with the ColorCard in bright daylight or artificial light. Avoid direct sunlight.
• Always scan the analysis strips as precisely as possible after the expiration of the displayed time. A later or premature scanning can lead to distorted results, since the colour fields on the strips darken over time.
• When connected to the internet additional access fees may apply, depending on your provider.
• For a correct scanning of the ColorCard the camera of the smartphone needs to have an auto focus function. Smartphones with fixed focus will not be supported.

Why do I need to log in to see the past measurements? Why do you need my address and phone number? All the necessary data could be stored on the phone. There is no need for data harvesting by JBL, I already paid for the tests with money. One star is too much.
Can't even make an account, because it keeps saying the passwords don't match during registration, when they are definitely matching. Very disappointing.
I only give 1 star because I can't -5. They want to know everything, even purchase receipts, for registering a product with big disclaimer to accept their privacy policy otherwise I can't proceed. I bought the proscan and needed for the neglehible extra from this app. Uninstalling straight away and because of this move, I will not buy from JBL again.
The app registration form assumes that if the language is English you have to live in the UK. Cant register
I used to forget to test my tank water so it only got checked once a month, which is not good. After I purchased this kit it was all systems go. Because its so easy to use it encourages you to test weekly and it stores the results on your phone in the App you downloaded. Once you have tested the water, if there is a problem you will receive instructions on how to rectify it. One of the best things I have bought regarding my aquarium.
5 stars for the idea and the effort & innovation. My company also produces software and its not easy to always meet all the requirements bug's free at the first releases. After the May update its not possible to sync test results.... Logout does not solve, reinstall the app also doesn't solve... Also, login in a new device, there is no test history.
Tried to scan and just wouldn't work, tried uninstalling and re downloading numerous times still don't work. Have gone back to using the api test kits. Dont waste your money on this test kit. The app let's it down big time. The color card was used, and fully read the instructions.
have used app for a year, no problems. at the beginning of the month JBL updated. Now the app will not work correctly. Timer is missing. Have sent several messages but no reply to clear the problem. Service poor. Despite your last reply still not received any instructions or updates to fix the bug. I have now sent 8 requests for help but no replies. Not good after sales service
Won't scan after the new update. So now I have just some worthless pieces of paper that cost me $30
Under room light, this app gives incorrect reading. This only gives accurate reading under good light like an led for planted aquarium. Which is understandable because bad lighting gives bad colour. I did get confused at first as I point my phone camera horizontally and it gives error. Turns out I need to use my camera vertically.
Wasted so many tests that are not logged. Wish it would prompt to save and force this not just exit. Quickscan you would use to mot save but selecting a tank should always save
I found this test for aquarium very acurate and i love it , i realy belive is getting better and better in future but now is just fine no issues at all i sugest for best result on reading to test in morning daylight not very direct sun light because the app is verry quick and is catch the stripe in les then a second because is very good app and i sugest for best result to resd with clean card and best camera possibile iphone x or newer , samsung at least s8 or lnewer model or other good camera.
Could much better. I lost a few measures 'cause of the bad ergonomic. Still app is usefull especially the tips as i'm a beginner.
I can't scroll down to read details in my tank. So I decide to reinstall app and guess what, all my tank data is gone! Why we don't save any info or chart via cloud or in account??? I'm really happy with detecting stick, but for app... No. I wanna know how to fix it.
I like the concept. I got an error recently. It happens when I launch the app or after I view scan results and hit Back. I would usually be asked whether I want to save the results or not. The message says "Sync error: The synchronization of the measurement has failed." The UX for retrieving past analysis results is not really intuitive, but once you figure it out, it's alright. Something that would be useful is to set reminder with push to encourage regular water scans.
