Lots of ads, but works great! I have a 2000 GDB so finding working scanners is a real pain. I just wish it had more programming options. Great lightweight diag tool, gets all the info a tuner should need.
This is a good app, essentially Freessm ported to Android. I initially had problems getting it to recognise my ECU, but with a reinstall and correct permissions it works well.

able to connect to my Subaru ej25's ECU via vag com cable to my Samsung phone. connects well and displays available info and faults. very helpful.

Super easy to use..just connect vag-com kkl cable or tactric cable and watch live data of subaru ecu...same function as subaru ssm software from pc
Does nothing. Got as far as find ecu. It detected 1 ecu then put up a screen with the BACK button. Pushing BACK took me back to the find ecu screen.

The best app for Subaru! You don't need more to keep a laptop with FreeSSM in a car to see parameters, check codes, or clean memory. Moreover, JDMscan can do logs! This is excellent! You can attach the phone in front of your eyes and observe necessary parameters without distraction from driving, and JDMscan will be writing a log file at the same time. Only one note: Android 11 allowed to JDMscan permission only to read/write Media files, not for all files, and you cannot change it. So, you cannot choose a folder for logs arbitrary. You need to choose the Download folder in JDMscan Settings, also you can do a special subfolder in Download like JDMscanLogFiles. And everything will work properly! Best wishes to the programmer, hope he will develop JDMscan further!
