Jeremiah

Jeremiah the Farmer seems a little dispersed. Somehow his senses go crazy. His wife wants to support him and cooks a mushroom soup in expectation this will broaden his perception and reunite his senses. So his psychedelic journey begins by dissolving his ego with all of its sensory distortions. On his travels through abstract, dreamlike sense of "expanded consciousness" his brains split apart, his senses are separated, his motor skills divided into their individual actions. Now he can experience all inputs and all outputs to his brain by themselves to find their strengths and weaknesses and to repair and grow his brain cells. He also learns how life is possible without a sense by improving the strengths of the other senses. Using the right combination of senses and motions he is able to solve his daily routines without any problems. Understanding the strengths and the importance of communication of these he learns that people without the ability to use one of their senses can easily be helped by giving the right help. Not only did openness generally rise during his experience, but also traits like imagination, creativity and aesthetic appreciation, appreciation of life and the love to his surroundings greatly improved.

This was a project for Game Design and Development Class at Graz - University of Technology in cooperation with Westminster University London. It was our first app that we released to the public so please be kind if you find some bugs and let us know about them. We would highly appreciate bug reports and feedback about usability and game play.
