I have been playing this game back when it first came out in I think around 2010. To this day it remains one of the best mobile games I have ever played. It is extremely fun, challenging, yet simple. It also has some pretty good driver controls. It "feels" like your actual driving the car and not just using computer controls to drive the car. And it is one of the few games where you can drift in it.
Please lower the forced brightness or get rid of it period. This is a really good game but the brightness hurts my eyes and like someone else said you cant play it at night. The hand brake button gets stuck alot and that is very annoying Please fix i love this game I found out that when the controls get stuck its is bc you pushed and held the boost then hit the gas. If you let go of the boost while you have the accelerator button down it wont let the boost stop. Its the same with the brake
I really enjoyed this when I first played it on my tablet, after moving to a new phone all the tilt controls were reversed and I couldn't play it, but that was recently fixed, that shows this game is still being supported, the true mark of an +++A team, they have more than earned 5 stars.
I used to play this all the time on my old i pod. not sure why, but it seems to by default change the brightness to maximum when you play and I can't seem to find a way to stop it from doing that making playing in a room with the lights dim or off is really hard on the eyes.
terrific game, but forcing max screen brightness makes it unplayable at night, which is the only time when I have time to play it. Devs haven't updated the game in a year, so it likely won't get fixed.
This is how you preserve games, been out for over 10 years and it runs with no issues on the latest devices. Absolutely worth it for the fun precision high speed platforming.
Favorite game on iOS However buttons are bery buggy and sometimes dont get pressed, or they are held too long. also max screen brightness is annoying
I used to play this on my parents phones, and it hasn't changed a bit. It works just fine. Pretty fun, but i had done a bunch of stuff and it deleted my progress. So now i have to do all that again, but it's fine.
Best game ever....if you have problem with screen brightness stuck at 100% install a 'lux' light app. Fixed issue on 2 of my tablets. Emailed dev about this but no response.
Leaving this review for anyone having the screen brightness issue, I have found a way around it! Just download an app called "Brightness Control & Dimmer" by Mikhail Bykhovskiy that will force the brightness to whatever you want, and it will overwrite this apps brightness! Hope this is helpful to someone!
Love it, and hate it when I can't complete a course perfectly. This keeps you addicted!!
Game is fun but it's stuck on full brightness with no way of turning it down

Was a great game but latest update v108 forces max brightness (v106 does not) and without Google play support you loose progress on a new phone

Why would it ever be a good idea for an app to lock the brightness controls and prevent the user from making their own brightness related decisions?

The jet button and the brake button tend to stick down forcing you to either charge into an endless abyss at full speed or sit in one spot like a potato. If the mach 5's gas and brake pedals stuck down speed racer wouldn't the man he is today, how am I supposed to get on his level when chim-chim's apparently the one working on my car.
Still fun after all these years, but some problems: 1) The game forces the screen brightness to maximum. Even if brightness is turned down in settings, it gets forced to max when entering game. 2) The game cant rotated to be played on the other orientation. 3) The touch buttons are sometimes "sticky". I hold down both the accelerate buttom and the jet booster button,then I release the jet button, but the game still registers the jet button as being held until I also release the accelerate button
I've had this game on one phone or another since about 2011-2012, it's a classic for me that I've gone back to over and over again. Multi touch can be a bit finicky when in the air but that's always been the case, I think. Overall a fantastic game that's well worth the time and has a great amount of replayability.
Please fix the controls! This game is a legend and the replayability is infinite, but the jet and handbrake buttons will randomly get stuck in the middle of a race. So the time trials are almost not worth it cause you'll be on your 5th lap with gold, then the handbrake button gets stuck and you can't go anywhere. That's the only reason I gave this 4 stars, otherwise this game is awesome!!
