Really love the convenience of shopping and saving, at the same time. Prices are significantly lower than some of the other delivery service prices, for the exact same products, at Jewel. Also, appreciate that I can use coupons on the app, to reduce already low cost. The functionality of the app is simple, but it glitches when you scroll to fast.

Used to use this for grocery delivery and it was very convenient. A revamp went through, however, and apparently Jewel will no longer deliver to my zip code. I can still get groceries from Jewel via Doordash, which is frustrating, since it's more expensive. I tried using the "report an issue" feature in-app, but all I got was an error message saying they were "having problems with their systems". Really not good.

Update: I have started shopping at Kroger instead of Jewel osco. They have an amazing app, super user friendly! And honestly it's cheaper, has better deals! *** New app is terrible. It super confusing. I can't tell where my rewards are clipped. I can't tell where my just for u deals are clipped. There is a cart but it's for online shopping and pickup. It needs to have a side menu or something. Horrible hate it!

Service Error. There was a problem downloading details of this offer. Constant problems, doesn't work in store. Coupons don't work. Tried getting a free item with coupon in app, scanned item and the coupon didn't work. What is the point if the coupons don't work. Also the rewards take too long to earn and the points reset each month. Have yet to redeem any type of rewards. What is the point of the app, just another way to collect & sell your info.

"Safeway is tracking your location." Why does this app track my location? That seems really unnecessary. As far as using this for shopping, you need to either know what you're buying in advance, or scan every item in your cart...before scanning them again at the checkout...in order to be sure you're actually getting any deals at all. And they force you to use the app to get any discounts. And rewards expire after one month. This actively makes me feel like shopping elsewhere.

My suggestion is to go back to what the app used to be before any of these updates. The customer service desk at my Jewel doesn't understand why the coupons don't work, numerous contacts with agents on the app have escalated it to IT, still don't work. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and updated ad nauseam it doesn't work. Zero coupons work. Period.

Unable to use the app since the update. The app literally crashes in the middle of a order. When trying log in keep getting message that the app is out of date. Once update is completed and I attempt to log in I get server error message. Was able to FINALLY fill cart and then the app goes down (Crashes)

Since the update every time I try to use my reward points they don't come up at the register. I get to the checkout counter and get rung up and then the items I use my reward points for are charged at full price. The rewards never get credited back and it's beyond frustrating

Seems designed to intentionally make using your coupons and points as difficult as possible, guess I can't shop at jewel anymore because I effectively cannot use coupons here anymore. ---- Why would I contact you? *I* don't need help, YOUR app does. I'm not getting paid to do your troubleshooting or app design!

Mostly works with annoyance. Why does it default to 'Deals' when you scan a bar code? Every time I scan a barcode I change the setting. And every single time I tap the barcode button it goes back to Deals. This makes using the bar code scanner very slow clunky and annoying to use. Please change the default to Products, or at least have a setting to change the default.

I am no longer confident using this app since recently I have been getting the notification: "Safeway tracking your location" despite denying the location permission in my app settings. The Jewel app is not very user friendly & I very much dislike that I cannot check or confirm inventory of an item before driving to a location (an amazing feature that Target has)... *Hint hint* app developers. Lastly, there are barely ever any useful coupons & I have deleted this poorly developed app.

Jewel takes the time to find the best subsitutions, uses heavy bags and care for your items. The drivers are helpful, kind and a hot top work with. next time I'll have an extra incentive for the driver. I'm disabled and the Jewel app, pickers and drivers are a joyful necessity. Wal-Mart is a pain to use in every way.

Tracking my location without any permissions. I have not authorized or allowed tracking for this app, but got a message saying it was tracking my location. I rechecked my settings and NO Permissions were granted but it was still tracking my location. Think it's time to uninstall this app.

Worst App ever! it constantly crashes. You could be in the middle of creating order, which takes FOREVER because app is not user friendly, and app will crash. Stops working no matter how many times you try to close, reopen it, uninstall it. Forget trying to select substitutions for order, the slightest movement of your finger on screen will make window close and you'll lose everything you just did. They are out of stock of everything all the time, which is total B.S. because I know it's there

It was great before the update (a little less than a year ago) it definitely is not user friendly anymore. I feel like it's complicated and not easy to understand and I'm very tech savvy. I can't even load my offers onto my account as the server seems to be down....

l have shopped at Jewel Foods for many, many, many years & wouldn't shop anywhere else. It has always been a one stop, one shop store. Also, banking at the site & is very convenient. Keep up the outstanding work! To help improve the quality of the employee/customer rapport, it would definitely help to check the professionality of the store. Some of the employees should be better screened in terms of gaining positive rapport with the customers.

I like that this app tells me what aisle my item is before going to the store. Very helpful during the pandemic! (Update) Since my original review, you took away the feature the made me use this app. Many people benefit by knowing where there items are located prior to traveling to the store. Because you are saving me time, I'm probably coming back sooner than later. Consider bringing it back. Update 4/23/22. Prompted to download the latest update, it's been two days, download is not complete.

It's great when it works. There are so many times that I have clipped a coupon and it wouldn't register. Especially when you clipped it 5 minutes beforehand. Why is there such a long delay for the coupons to sync with your account?

All of a sudden the app is constantly telling me that Safeway is tracking my location even when I have denied this access in settings and when I haven't even been using the app. Updated to most current version so Idk what's going on. Makes me want to delete the app but I don't want to miss coupons at my store. So frustrating.

Ordered from them a few times, it was good service and the product was fresh. The last time I ordered though was when my order was screwed up and I got someone else's. I know it's not necessarily Jewels fault but the customer service after to get refunded my order, since I had never received it, was where my problem lies unfortunately.

Wow. This is really bad. I wish I had listened to several dissatisfied customers and waited until i was forced to switch to the new app - even reinstalling from scratch didn't help. Based on how long this has been an issue, I don't anticipate a solution anytime soon. Guess I'll be shopping at Kroger now. What's the point of having an app that has errors on every single page? There aren't bugs, delays, or occasional misfires.... It simply does not work.

Up until the recent update no issues but now everytime I hit checkout an error comes up. Been like this for 2 days. I deleted it. Reinstalled and cleared cache. Anything I could think of but no luck. I guess they don't want my money. Very frustrating especially for someone who is disabled who relies on this. Update. Don't bother with this app anymore. Tech support sucks. Took them awhile to get back to me then says we fixed it. Nope still won't work. Deleting never using again.

This app used to be good. Now it's almost a disaster. Sometimes it works. Most times it doesn't. It hardly ever takes my in basket rewards...no matter how many times I clicked on the reward. I recently clicked a reward for a 30 dollar discount when I spend 30 or more. I ended up spending 30 dollars and received zero discount. This app is absolute trash.

App keeps CRASHING. Can not sign in. Does NOT scan in store STILL. Can not do much of ANYTHING. You've been saying FOR AT LEAST 2 or 3 YEARS you are STILL WORKING ON THE Stupid thing? How long will it take? ANOTHER 3 YEARS? Or maybe when the world ends? DELETED and shopping AT MARIANO'S because at least their app WORKS!!!!

This app almost never works correctly. Between freezing up, re-starting and plain locking you out. Multiple updates have never fixed these problems. It's enough to make shop somewhere else.

really great app, grocery pickups are fast and efficient. One possible improvement would be list sharing so my husband could add things to my cart when he's at work or vice versa.

Very time consuming app finding products and clicking on them. Far easier just bringing the ad circular and marking that up for specials. Otherwise, pencil and paper list is still better than the app. Btw, JFU advertised in newspaper, but there is no link to be found in the app! Good luck finding those specials. And they won't give the special pricing if you don't use the cell phone app. Oct 10 review. 3/2/2022 Deals still don't sync. Useless app

Navigating the app can be frustrating. When I am looking for deals in the produce department or any other department just show me ALL the deals available instead of breaking it down to sub categories. Less buttons to push, less hoops to jump through. Simplify the experience. I find the app cumbersome.
