Fun if somewhat repetitive. Does demand strategic thinking. I would give a 5 except the game is unstable. Either it closes itself down or freezes, requiring player to close the game and reload. This is not an occasional problem. Frustrating, especially when you know that you are just about to win. Add-on to previous comments. Get rid of the Lending Tree and Quicken Loan ads. Seems to be no way to return the game. I have to shut down game and start new and the same ad is still there and so I quit
Ads ads ads Yep it's a free game I get it. But! I am on level 26 and I have seen 24 ads. They skip the ads the first few levels then ask for a review, and then bombard you with one ad after the level essentially plays itself. It just wants to get you to the next ad, and it isn't subtle. I have opened the game twice and the second time I did they showed me an ad. I understand once every few levels, or once every two levels.. especially after a hard one.. but this is every. Single. Level. Goodbye.
Simple jewel matching game with no extra hard challenge barriers, no piggy banks... and no way to stop the ads. Ads? Oh yes tons. Between every level and required to get helper items or add moves. But most of them are really short. Even if a 30 second timer shows, the x to quit the ad usually appears 3-5 seconds in. The only exception is the "rescue" to add more moves. Some ads are only a single image. I don't find them annoying tbh.
I loved this game until I reached about level 560 where instead of an ad a black screen appears with a spinning circle in the middle. When I exit and load the game again the same screen appears. Even deleting and downloading the game again doesn't solve this problem. I have the same problem in another game but at Least I can exit and start playing again without the black screen but not so with Jewel Town.
Let me just say... that this is the best match 3 game I have ever seen, and for many reasons: 1. No live system, infinite gameplay (as far as I know) 2. Steady blocker introduction, unlike other games which introduce them WAY too fast 3. Levels are easy and fast to pass (level 63 and haven't failed once) 4. There's 10,000 levels, obviously, no end in sight, even more than Candy Crush's 7000 levels This makes this THE BEST MATCH 3 GAME EVER! Keep it up, and if I could give 6 stars, I would!
I play these games on a regular basis, and only play until I can go no further without buying packages. And here, I am not left feeling stressed out after playing as THIS game is relaxing and fun! No greedy gimme ads but instead YOU choose when to watch to get rewards. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN JOB WELL DONE! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wow level 325 now! Time to try JT2! OK. Tried it and it was a greedy gimme build where I was unable to get 3 stars before lvl 25. Deleted.
My experience was fine for quite a while, then all of a sudden, I'm being held " hostage " by ads, click to get back to the game.....sent back to ad, multiple times. Terribly annoying.
Map background music is, "Away in a Manger" like there's some creepy Christian agenda going on. No thanks. I've played 150 levels and nothing changes. It's so repetitive and never gets challenging. It's good for a mindless time waster but not if you're looking for something to get hooked on.
This is a a okay game at least they don't ask you to buy things all the time and they let you have endless lifes.. However when you play a level I feel they aren't fair on awarding the stars when there is 36 moves and I complete the level in 17 moves and they only award me 1 star. Stuff like this happens slot, that I complete the level in less than half the moves and I would think you should get all 3 star but you only get 1or 2. Otherwise the game is fun.
I suppose these types if games aree for kids. I intended to use it to sharpen visual alertness but if you dont see the move in seconds, you get th answer which I dont want, defeats the purpose in doing it yourself. Guess its good for kids, . Stillwish they would turn those off after a certain level. And you only get a few games before explosion. I cant believe all like it for special effects,its not challenging that way.
OMG ads after every level. It takes less than two minutes to complete a level, and then 45 seconds of rapid tapping to get through the ad and graphics. It's not remotely difficult until level 500. I'm only playing while they make more levels in gem or jewels ?
Ad machine disguised as a game. Ads after each level. Ads before each level. Ads during each level. I even got an ad for trying to quit the game. You epitomize everything that is wrong with the current state of the video game industry. The review is based on your "game" and industry destroying businesses practices. Not bugs. Not tecnical issues. Keep your canned dev response for someone who believes anything you say.
I'm giving 3 stars because of the ads. I get there needs to be ads for free games but there are way to many, after every level. Also its almost 2 easy and not challanging at all and there is only like 4 challanges that keep repeating. Lastly the ad made it seem like you could unlock a bunch of animals and after level 100 Ive unlocked 2 dogs and thats it. Thinking of unsinstalling cuz its kinda borring.
I was really enjoying this until level 5056 where the game completely freezes. I am only able to do a few moves and it freezes and the game shuts down. I have tried this multiple times and each time the same thing happens it freezes. There must be a bug.
Good to start with, but.... Once you get to a more complicated puzzle, it will not let you out of it until its properly solved. You could play the same game 56 times!! No. I want a way out! Not enough explanation of how the game works.
I've played many match 3 games before, and this one outshines the others! Why? It's different, for one thing, you don't have to buy things, heck, you don't even earn coins to buy things with! That's never been the case before in other games. This way is more relaxing , yet still challenging and fun. I'd highly recommend this game!
Very cute game, very colorful, relaxing gameplay for a 63 yr old but like some of the other reviews it's irritating having to watch an ad after each level, I would have given it five stars if there was an option to pay to get rid of the ads.
It's nice there is alot of waiting for ads!! 6 seconds is fine. Some have 25 and 30 seconds. I simply wont play them. I like no bells and whistles. Simple fun game no building anything, etc.. thanks! Its fun.
I like this game, however it freezes and then I have to uninstall and then reinstall it. Hopefully this can be addressed. Update: 9-30-21, I can't open the game, I just get a black screen. I really like this game but you have so many glitches that cause it not to load. It's a shame, guess I'll look for something else.
👩💻 I really appreciate games of this sort. I have a brain injury that needs repetitive motions to get my motor skills to find a way around the damage, to make new neural pathways. Things will always be slower than before but these types of games helps me to heal what my brain will heal. Thanks so much! 🖖😷🤗 🙋♀️🥰💗
So far so good! Haven't reached higher levels yet! That's usually where the puzzles are almost impossible, and you resort to purchasing "Help" to move to the next level. We shall see!!
I really like this match 3 game they made. Runs really smooth with fun puzzles and great music. So far I've not been getting bombarded with advertisements! So iam going to keep this app and continue to play this game. Good job game developers ! When you guys get it right I don't mind spending some money on your sight. I feel like you deserve it for not being such a money grab like alot games on Google play store are. I highly recommend this game
Having fun and the colors and symbols dont blend into one another so i dont have to really study it.Its been great so far. I play to win! The graphics are wonderful, too.
Got to 9,634 level and game malfunction stalls any further progress. Went back a few levels but still stalled progress at 9,634. For passing uninvolved moments this was pretty good. Not any longer.
Pretty graphics but it needs to be a bit more difficult and variations as it progresses. Love the graphics. Dog is super adorable. Ads are not the annoying.
Graphics are cute and colourful, and the game itself is really straightforward but nevertheless challenging, which is part of the fun. There are no annoying add-ons or constant requests to pay for booster packages. All you need do for extra boosters to levels is to watch ads which are only 5 seconds long. Not a big ask. The only complaint I have is that on some levels, no matter how much you try, you are only ever awarded 1 star. Otherwise, really pleased with this app.
