I'm giving this 5 stars based purely on its potential and premise. I am able to place the rocket, but as soon as I begin to examine it, the app closes. I went to the FAQ on their Website, and it indicates the phones/systems on which the app will run. My Galaxy S7 Edge is not among them. That being the case, I felt it would be unfair to give it one star, but still wanted to be able to let others know in case it explains your crashes.
Works great on my galaxy s10. I wish there were more apps like this. AR is truly bringing history to life. To the Devs, I recommend adding something for the homescreen as well including a launch countdown and flight tracker once the rocket launches. To make it easier on people who wish to experience events in real time.
if you get it to work, PLAY THE GAMES! I didn't know about them at first I'm excited about the potential, but it's now frozen several times. First was after giving it permission to use the camera, second was in the middle of one of the videos. It seems like it won't be fully functional for another several days, I'll revisit the review then.
BAAAAD the virtual imagery isn't stable, bouncing around and changing scale for no reason. i was on the rocket assembly page. it crashed 3 times after about 20 seconds of trying to keep up with the image. what's worse is that you have to sit through the whole intro every time you open the app Samsung galaxy S7
works well. it is a little buggy, but overall deliveries on what is promises. The problems I experienced could also be user error. overall, this app is worth a download.
like the idea and potential to take pictures/ video to share, but icons remain part of the pictures. seems that the app should remove the app icons when taking a picture/ video to enhance the sharing experience
in Step 1, I can scan and get the white outline of rocket but when I double tap to move the picture of the rocket is upside down or diagonally downward. I click on the rotate button and it goes back to the scan step. what am I doing wrong?
Runs well on S9+ and an amazing example of AR. You can zoom into and around the model by walking with your phone so it may be better to place it outside. Download now to beat the rush since it replicates the days and minutes leading up to the July 16 13:32 UTC (9:32am EDT) launch.
this was an amazing app, so intricate and fun and a beautiful way to honor the moon landing and President Kennedy. it worked like a charm on my S8. I really enjoyed the many facets of this AR!!
Overall nice app. When it scans the area, there are green patches of light. Rest it is ok. Really loved the graphics. Great concept
It works perfectly fine on my Note 8. As a space enthusiast, I wouldn't want to miss the AR experience.
Stupid. Does absolutely nothing time after time. All it has me do is scan takeoff zone and that's it. Waste of time. Deleted. If I could've given no stars I would have.
Best AR experience on mobile by far. Was lucky enough to experience the full size rocket at the JFK library as well. Very cool.
50 years to the minute, my wife and I just watched the launch via this AR app, and it gave me the same chills I had as a 10 year old boy. Fantastic work!
It's pretty cool and what's better educational about our space program. If only we could revive our space program.
App will not work unless permission is given to access the camera. No, you don't need to access my camera for any reason. My camera has nothing to do with the Apollo 11 mission. Your app has been uninstalled.
Would like to use this app but it keeps freezing up and crashing after the rocket is displayed.
this changed my accessibility app to full blind reader mode, it woke everyone up in the room ... I had to uninstall and reset the phone ...
A Great experience...if only this was just a beginning... Let's try a Space Shuttle option? Launch, piggyback and all?
Failure to launch! App will not turn off. can't place Rocket in a scene. Uninstalling.
crashes as soon as the scan is done. It is a complete dud.
Seems interesting - but there's no way to exit the app!!! Kind of a big oversite.

I wished it worked, but it doesn't. Fix the bugs it needs updating. Can't launch anything

This is outstanding what a tribute. This can show a generation what it took for America to achieve the moon. Can't wait for the launch.
Stuck at rotate you phone. I did rotate but it ask again. Edit 1: managed to do it once but highly inconsistent and green screen flash .
Needs some work. This is not the worst AR I've encountered, but for what it is, it should definitely be better. It crashes too often, the controls don't respond to touches, and it's just a poorly put together historical experience. Before anyone says it's the phone, I have played several AR games on this phone with much better results.
