Great app apart from the fact it does not work well with Android. You cannot use the audio only workouts with your own music app because it won't work properly ie they pause eachother out or play at the same time so who can hear either audio properly. This feature is actually mentioned in the audio workout as something you can use so it's a bit of a joke. Hoping they one day fix this as other apps that are free can manage to. Already contacted the helpteam - u couldn't fix it. Just fix it!
We know Jillian is amazing. This let's you hear theories. I've been doing the 30 day shred which is an embedded DVD. I love it. She is motivating and know her stuff. Easy to follow for all levels. The down side is 2 fold. 1. There's no go intro to the nutrition aspect. It's there, but I didn't follow how I should be using it. 2. Embedded DVD material could easily be moved into the programs. Not sure why it is a separate category. It's not like I use a disk player.
I love the variety of workouts. Only two cons for me. It crashes my workout and doesn't save my progress if I get a call or pause to answer a text. Also, it seems to have removed my favorite feature, schedule your next workout.
As an android user, I tried to open 30 Strong and it keeps telling me to update my version. Which I just did. Please help me. Update: 30Strong was an incredible program with excellent results - can you add it back?!
Lots of her dvds on now available through the app so you can workout anywhere so is super helpful. The meal plans are also great with lots of variety and plan designs. The earned badges once a workout is complete is also a nice little incentive and can save progress pictures and chart weight. I love this app.
I've been using this app for almost 3 years now and love it! It's had a few glitches but the developers always seem to fix them. I love the variety of workouts, the ability to customize workouts, and the library of her DVDs. I travel a lot for work, and now I don't have to lug DVDs everywhere with me :)
I only just purchased a subscription and haven't dived fully into it yet. I started with the meditations and they have been a huge help with quitting smoking, lowering my anxiety, and learning to think about what I eat. Jillian has always been an inspiration to me and I have no doubt the workouts will be exactly what I need to reach my goals.
Love this app! So many different options for workouts and can do them anywhere. I have been using this app for over 5 years now and Jillian workouts for many years prior to that and still love them. Fast, efficient and tailored to me.
Her workouts are awesome. Great variety and food recipes it's like an all in one workout. She is inspiring and motivating. Her instructor style is the best for me when it comes to fitness. I always feel better after her workouts.
I love this app. Has all the DVDs and also a load of new, workouts to keep it interesting. I love that JM workouts are so hard they demotivate you, but there is always a way to increase the training by heavier weights, resistance bands etc
I love having everything in one app & there are so many different options between workouts, meditation, means etc that boredom isn't a viable excuse any more!
Best app.it casts well to the TV. Once in a while it maybe slow to load, but that's okay. Super effective and results show.i am on this app since 2018 and am super happy
Edit!! App works perfectly now, best thing I ever did, can't recommend it highly enough!!! I had some trouble with the app to start with, where it wouldn't load the workout at all, but I contacted the support team and they were a great help.
The workout section is great on the app, I love the generator and I also like how the old programs (60 Day Shred etc.) now have a little timer with how long you have left. I also tried the vegan meal plan and I like the recipes actually, although the descriptions for the method are fairely vague. My issue is with the grocery list, which does not actually put all the ingredients listed in the recipes for the time period, so you go to the store and don't have everytjing for when you come home!
I love Jillian Michaels fitness app. It is very user friendly with custom workouts and targeted body area workouts along with meal plans and personal progress review. There are plenty of workouts which can be customized according to your personal needs and you can tailor exercises with whatever equipment you have. I am happy that she has now included DVD workouts in this app as well which is awesome. Overall it is a great app 👍
I really love her workouts and this app. truly enjoy them, But, I think the monthly charge is a little much for an app. That's only downfall in my opinion
Loving this app full range of movements and variety. The recipe section is outstanding and very flexible.
I absolutely love this comprehensive fitness app. Since starting these programs, I've lost weight and gained strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance. Plus, I appreciate that I can easily mirror programs from my phone to my Roku TV.
I am finding this an excellent all-in-one app. Really appreciate how convenient the app makes working out. Depending on the time I have, I can select workouts to fit my time and needs. Love having her DVDs, too. Tried and liked several recipes. Very pleased with this app, and, for me, it is well worth what I paid.
Love the app! It has made such a difference in my mental and physical health. App was updated to have a stretches section. It has been really helpful in my cool down after a long workout.
Love the app! Have been doing Jillian workouts on and off for years. I always come back to her because her workouts are so thorough and efficient. For someone like me who is now a busy mom trying to get back in shape, I'm confident I can do it with only 30 minutes a day with this app! Love you Jillian! Xoxo
Update- it's been working a lot better! I loved this app but it does not work like it used to. It freezes and glitches out all the damn time. It isn't even usable anymore.
Love it! Easy and straight forward for someone that has literally never been to the gym!
Easy to follow and you can adapt each exercise to any fitness level.
In most ways, I really like this app. The app is easy to navigate, and gives you really infinite options for different workouts every day. The workouts are still intelligently coordinated (it knows how to structure the workout based upon which muscle groups are being worked, etc) and they are a nice length (mostly the programs give you a 30 minute workout). I feel that the monthly fee is reasonable for what you get, and if you pay per year, you save even more though you are locked into the full year or time frame you signed up for. There are also many "programs" pre-designed for the results you're looking for. I do have some issues with it: 1) The app itself does not cast. You can cast to chromecast, but have to do so by casting your entire screen. This makes it a little slower and so it skips a little. 2) The workouts have no music. You can simultaneously go and get a playlist on google play, but that makes it even MORE skippy and slow, so I rarely do this. 3) Left vs right - this is kind of a massive peeve I have that I really wish they would correct. Am I using my left or mirroring her? Because they're not the same. And it matters.
Re last update: I like the Me section, but otherwise the layout is much more time consuming and more difficult to have a good view at all the programs and DVDs, you need to scroll like crazy. The old interface was more comfortable. Please make it easier again! A bit buggy and slow, overlapping texts, not nice. Many programs to choose from, the exercises are good, but repetitive. Good advice about food and healthy diet with many recipes. Please fix the bugs!
I like the workouts and the tips. When I started I found the begginer programs little difficult, but after a month I'm good. The app itself: when you open the app , it is a blank screen, so you need to go between options. And slow at times when swithcing between different 'tabs'. The ME option is little busy. Also I can't schedule two workouts. Let's say I want to have the begginer slim and throw 7 minutes upper body.
