I used to enjoy this app very much, but it is starting to have bugs to the point it just freezes sometimes. I have to uninstall and reinstall it to work or just order off the website. But when it does work, I do enjoy it very much. I just 2ish they gave a brief description of the sandwiches to make choosing easier.
Easy and fast! Only complaint is that the JJ Gift cards don't work in the app - you can add them, but the paymnt errors out when you try to complete them so you have to call the order in by phone or use another payment method ( yes, I verified the cards I've tried had money on them:)
Service app is not a problem at. Quick easy user friendly. Just one small thing the scan card option for some reason never works for me. I'm holding it over the card and all corners are meeting and I know I'm holding it steadily but it nevers seems to snap the shot so I just always have to enter card info in if i choose to use a different card each time.
The app is garbage. Keeps giving me an error that tells me to select a sandwich for my sandwich choice when i do a gargantuan combo. Duh, I have already made my sandwich choice! However, if I turn off the combo option I can add the sandwich and all of the individual combo items to my bag no problem. This, of course, is more expensive, which is ultimately why I think it doesn't work as a combo, JJ wants to bleed me for more money rather than fix their app.
App is fast, works well, and is much easier to navigate than some other restaurant apps I have used. Good for keeping up with loyalty points as well.
I like it enough but always get error when updating a sandwich or when trying to add one of my saved favorites. Something about can't have more than one option for sprouts, which I'm not sure there's anything to do with sprouts on the app.
Reward program is worst I've ever seen. Takes quite a bit to earn rewards and then the rewards expire very quickly. Don't even get a chance to claim them most times. I earned a free sandwich on May 2nd Return on May 10th and it was already expired!
Just super easy to use, especially when you are ordering a favorite of yours you've had before. You hit the freaky fast button, it saves your information and boom! Sandwich ordered.
App is super easy to use. You can save your favorites (with customization) or duplicate all or part of previous orders. Rewards and seasonal items are easy to find and claim. My favorite customized Beach Club is on the way to my door now!
The app itself works fine. My only issue is the rewards program. For it to be pushed so hard in the app, but continually offer items outside of my normal ordering seems silly. Maybe it's by design - a bunch of freebies that aren't being used.
Easy to use, but still, just like the website, only have the pop options load when doing a combo order. Only half the sized, and very few options, about half of what they actually offer.
Orders for pickup suddenly not fast. Ordered in app to pick up in store on 3/12, app let me know it was ready. They needed me to sign my receipt, with an obvious tip section, for a fast food sandwich that I'm picking up in store. And they hadn't even made my sandwich. Was 5 stars 'til this.
Love it, just needs 1 small update. There needs to be a cash option for delivery, otherwise it's great. Having to cancel my order and empty my cart and then call in my order just because I am paying cash is highly inconvenient.
If you are ordering through the app prepared to have problems! I ordered a dozen or so sandwiches for me and my coworkers and had them delivered to my job with clear delivery instructions put on the app it is not the 1st time that I've had this problem where the delivery structions were ignored. This time the app failed to get the store to deliver instruction so I was told. Their solution was to make sure that you call after you place your order through the app. Use the app and call!!!😡
Great app for great food. I would like a button during the checkout process which allows viewing of special offers, instead of a glimpse of them only when opening the app. Sometimes an order doesn't meet the criteria for an offer, and I, would like to know why, so that I may adjust the order. Instead, I have to exit completely and start the order over to check the offer.
Very intuitive and easy to use. It is a stripped down ordering service that is a perfect match for Jimmy John's "Freaky Fast" delivery service. My order arrived today as I was writing this review! (While I was editing it). EDIT: Rewards have been a plus. But the gift card system is still broken. You can't order using a gift card unless the order is less than the total on the card. It won't let you pay the difference with a credit card or other payment option. This is endlessly frustrating.
Updated review: Took away another star because of the ridiculous gift card function. You can't add a gift card to your account unless you put an order in, and you can't use a gift card for an order if the total is more than the card balance. You can't use the gift card plus credit card or cash or anything, you can only use one method to pay. It's 2022, this really shouldn't be an issue.
Wow. Out of all the fast food apps Jimmy John's might have the easiest to use. No extra junk and straight forward. Alot food apps try to over complicate things. To be honest I wasn't expecting this.
The app is probably the easiest food app I've used. Clear menu options, easy customizations, fast checkout process...I wish all restaurant app could be this easy.
Sometimes confusing and if you aren't familiar with the menu you're pretty much guessing what's in the sandwiches. Works well, I use it regularly
Quick ordering and customization of sandwiches and combinations. Works every time. Always includes discounts when available. I'm able to repeat orders which is helpful.
Pretty user friendly app. Delivery is not usually freaky fast but they usually show up and almost always have everything I ordered! They do seem to forget drinks fairly often but that's probably the store/driver fault. Definitely reccomend! Also delivery area seems to be pretty small. I travel quite a bit and have learned if you are not within about 3 miles they won't deliver to you!
