JINA App Drawer & Sidebar

Just a first impression, I haven't even learned more than basics, and already I feel this must be the best swipe app launcher I've ever tried; just hoping there won't be any sudden disappointments 😅 I have been saddened by the breaking of CircleLauncher Swipe on newer android's for years, but this swipes the crop out of it! And all I've set up is the full drawer and sidebar; and I don't think I'll really need more. And yet there's way more I can do! 🤗

One of the most impressive, feature-rich apps I've ever used. Incredible customization options, an attractive UI, useful utility tools...the list goes on. Quite frankly, I don't understand why it's free, it's *that* good. Best for those who love customization, are relatively tech-savvy, and have lots of apps. Love the drawer. It does what it says, runs smoothly, is very customizable, I love the nested folders as well as the option to put an app or folder inside more than one folders, tags are not really my thing but it looks like they can be handy. There are two features I'm missing, namely the option to use a custom icon for a specific app (though this option does exist for folders) and a drawer view with all folders plus all apps that aren't in any folder, all in the same screen.

It's great, it really is, however it is KILLING me that folders aren't all set to the same size. It's close, but it's not correct. I want to shrink all folders to the size that the default Samsung folder sizes are, but it's never precise. Having to do each folder is a painstaking process. Maybe a "Set default zoom" button? Great customization btw, great app.

This app has made things a lot simpler. Because of how this app works I can easily find any app on my phone. As cellphones begin to replace laptops and desktops in general, apps like this one make it easier to manage your digital life. I have multiple phones with this app installed. On the phone I'm using I have over 500 apps installed, trust me when I say it has changed the way I view digital clutter as I call it. No longer have to have multiple apps sprawled across my home screen.

This is the type of app that changes for the better how you use your phone. Makes all interactions with the launcher and the phone much more streamlined. It puts everything within easy reach and makes managing apps, shortcuts and folders a breeze. It's like getting 3 apps in 1. I absolutely love it and it's the first thing that I install on a new phone. My only gripe is that it has not been updated in a while and there are minor bugs that could be addressed. Thank you for a great app.

It's so customizable, I spent hours making everything 100% my own. There is a slider in options for how customizable it actually is from beginner to expert. Make folders, tags, Hotspots for launching apps, icons and backgrounds. Best of all the support team is awesome. Especially Max (shout out) I sent 4 or 5 emails. All responded to in the same day, with a friendly experience. I recommend to anyone who wants to customize there phone/tablet.

It's a great app drawer and sidebar... The only thing I would like to see is the option to put the apps in reverse order, I mean, that the list start in the bottom of the screen, for better reachability... You know 'cause of bigger screens and majority of people use phones with one hand.. That would be awesome.. ***Edit: there is an option to stack from bottom (search results) but just in sidebar, would be good if it's available for drawer as well.

This comes in 2 parts: app drawer and sidebar. Both are good looking. Lots of customization and potential to make it work as I want it. There are tags, folders, lots of app information. I can change the grid size by changing the app icon size and lable text size (as pointed out by developer, thanks Max). Apps can be sorted by usage time as reported by Android system and the number of taps. I accidentally deleted my previous review instead of editing it.

Wonderful - highly configurable - great work!!! Two suggestions: 1) Allow a clean titlebar in folder widget with only title, or remove it completely. 2) Have some category icons included as icon packs don't have many of those. REPLY: Thanks for helping me on 1 :-) FYI: I noted both on this app and Folder Organizer, that icons and labels on folder widgets are lost after a while, quickly if you have many, but always after a while. All at the same time. It seems to be an Android thing, but highly annoying :-( Don't know if it can be countered somehow?

I'm only using one small part of this app - the folder widget for my home screen, to replace the very lacking support for folders in my launcher - however I'm impressed by the overall quality of this app, the variety of settings available and the polish to the interface. The features it implements are not trivial either - the author is clearly a highly competent Android developer and put a lot of thought into this app.

Fantastic! Resolve my problem of not have folders after I switched to Huawei. A must have for those who are used to having a drawer with folders! Hi Team, After the update, the upper and lower bar kept popping out. Is there no way to hide it permanently like preciously. It is pretty annoying to change what is a prefect app to add features and mess up the existing features. Hope you can find a solution to my issue.

Now that I've used Jina a while, I can't believe that I haven't written a review by now! This app has exceeded my greatest expectations! I was originally looking for a way to organize shortcuts from any screen - it does that and SO much more! Although there is a bit of a learning period, it's well worth it. Today I remembered that I don't need an extra app for exporting my app backups (apks) whether to my external storage or the cloud. No ads, no hassle, just truly elegant coding. Well done!

This is for sure one of the cooler theme customizing apps I have come across. Seems to be near endless possibilities to which to you can set up your phone. There is so much information given for each app along with all of the other options to you have. Kudos to the developer I have tried out a lot of apps and this is up there near the top. Can tell there is definitely a lot of attention to detail.

This is just A wonderful little app! I've been using it for a few months now maybe even a year and this kind of app you almost never find for free or without ads. Its Very well-thought-out and laid out. it's just amazing, Its so configurable you can do anything you want with it. It becomes your UI

i don't who reviews. This is my first and I'm happy that this app gets my first review. This app is fun to use with options available for personalization. It's outstanding! i don't like having icons all over my home screen. I like it neat and tidy. Icons it neatly stored in my own customized icons folders, absolutely. Great app! If you want a personalized, customized home screen look no further.You can use different images for folder icons AND background inside each folder. Great app! Love it!!!

Updated my review: Tech support solution worked on the white list setting. I personally didn't know what it was. Had to look it up. Quick feedback!!! So 5 Stars.. Old review: The app works great, but the Hot Spot feature keeps freezing up. I have to reopen the main app and then it'll start working again.

Very feature rich app! Customer support is lightning fast! Only recommendation i would give is to revisit the look of the app, i would like to see some options for a more modern look, something similar to the smart launcher, but that's just personal preference. Thank you for your awesome app.

It's ok. There's no quick way I can find to press and hold and drag an app to the home screen. I can add a shortcut through the long press menu but it's not the same. Plus it deleted itself from my phone. I went to access jina drawer and it wasn't there. I had to reinstall it and go through customizing it again.

As many, came for Folder Organizer replacement. This app has a 100 more options that are useless for most part, and should be pushed to some other advanced menu, but it can be dealt with. Deal breaker is with Samsung One launcher the folder icon dissappears with every memory clear that launcher does. Nova launcher seems to be the answer for this issue atm. In general a hurcalian effort.

JINA is a lifesaver! Wanted less clutter on home screen & needed option to easily access apps & shortcuts w/o having to search app drawer. The "Fav App" Sidebar is EXACTLY what I needed! Compact, customizable, modern, easy to swipe open w/o interfering with gestures, ability to nest Apps in Folders. It's fast as hell, let's me access Apps in other Apps, doesn't drain battery/RAM & it's FREE!! I tried every other app drawer app & none had customization/folders & required Pro for features.

Really nice but I wish for a few things. A master enable/disable toggle for Sidebar and/or Drawer. I have no use for the sidebar and wish to disable all options for that but there are so many options, doing so is confusing (*SEE DEV RESPONSE TO THIS*) - especially when you are disabling from within the sidebar and its settings. I'd rather not see it period or have the app doing anything related to it. I would pay for these as 3 separate apps, ESPECIALLY the smart Folder Organizer.

Awesome replacement for the stock drawer with tons of customization options. In particular, I find the hotspot especially useful. I have it set as an invisible bar on the left side that I can tap twice (on any screen) to bring up a short list of commonly used apps (LastPass and Dark Sky for example).

Amazing app to declutter your phone. Takes a while to set up but it's definitely worth it. Totally customizable you can choose downloaded images for icons and the folders within folders options it's what I like most! I don't really use the sidebar feature. I just disable it.

This is a really good app drawer although I don't have much to compare it too. I really haven't explored the pro features as much as normal before writing any criticism. So I'll take this time to discuss what I like. The cool part is that this drawer has categories and I like that a lot. Need to take more advantage of that feature because it's one of the main reasons I got it in the first place. There are tons of options and it's very customizable. I use it in combination with Lucid Launcher Pro

Update: I believe my problem is solved by creating shortcuts to folders from within the app instead of using widgets from my home screen. Props for extremely fast response from devs and providing a solution. Changed to 5 stars! --- I wanted a folder app, and this app is able to do what I need. I have 7 folder "widgets" on my home screen I set up using this app. There are a lot of options and it can be a bit confusing but I got everything figured out and set just the way I like. I even found an icon pack and was able to change the icons of the folders on my screen. However, every day or two ALL JINA widget icons on my screen revert to the purple icon and the labels all change to say "JINA Folder". The folders still work correctly once opened, but I use the name and icon to remember what is in each one. The only way I've found to change them back is to delete each widget and add it back to the screen. Even once a week deleting and adding 7 widgets is a major pain I don't need, but 2 or 3 times a week is an absolute no.

Awesome App Drawer and active sidebar with multiple configuration options, gestures, and an intuitive interface that you can tweak until it is like a part of you. If you can't configure this app to make you more productive something is wrong with you, not this app; it also litetally learns how you work and optimizes its behavior to fit your unique way of working with your phone. With Jina I dropped open source sidebar and gesture tool I optimized for 2 years because Jina is so much better!

The best app drawer front end. I like how easy it is to organize all my apps into live folders that stay up-to-date as changes are made in the app. I'm waiting to see any new improvements. Definitely worth it if you're considering an app drawer and organizer.
