A very flimsy app whose behaviour is very erratic. Upon loading first time it detects the Jio Fibre network and calling works well. But if you take the phone out from that wifi zone and come back, it refuses to connect, no matter what. And there is no provision to stop the app and restart - have to shut down and restart the phone itself. Needs some serious testing and upgrade.
I have to say it's a very glitchy app. Has a very good tendency to get stuck in the launch screen itself. Also the notification settings are very hard to silence. It automatically reverts to alert. Even though am on s21fe this app crashes. So cannot depend on it all the time. But when it works it does work quite well. The calls are clear and free !
After the last update the app is not working properly at all! It's very hard to receive calls or to call others. The screen goes black and how much I try to end the call, the call ends after almost 10 seconds of frustrated tapping. Please fix these problems as soon as possible. I have seen many people complain about the same. This is a serious issue. If you were in an emergency would you want the phone to pose such an addditional problem as well by not allowing to call for help quickly?!
Very poor app. Needs to much maintenance. It gets disconnected many times and shows offline. Whenever I get a call, I'm unable to recieve the call or the call hangs up automatically. Also the option "remove phone number" in settings isn't working. It shows error every time I click it. The most important thing 'I can't make video calls via this app,it always shows device camera isn't working' but earlier with the sim in my phone I could switch easily to video calls. Please solve all these issues.
The app is extremely unreliable and annoying. 1. The app fails to make calls inspite of being online several times. 2. It says unable to connect inspite of being online. 3. The app hangs a lot. most times i have to restore to 'Force Stop' the and restart again. 4. The UI is extremely boring and slow. 5. I am unable to pic the call inspite of the screen displaying a ring.
This app crashes very frequently. Allow it to run in the background, consumes battery too much. When someone call on my number it always tells switch off. Phone hangs very frequently due to this app, which leads to restarting the phone again and again. I have very bad experience with this app. I don't understand why you need permission to access files and media devices. This is irrelevant.
It used to be a good app once upon a time. But after last few updates it's become a headache to use it to call. Most of the time it remains offline. To make a video call I have to restart my phone, otherwise there is no video. And when the app is online you need to try to at least 7-8 times in order to make a audio call. Worst app in playstore.
Very frustrated. The app has a bug where i am not able to open the application. It doesn't allow me to do or receive call even. If i want to i have to clear the data and then try. And sometimes that doesn't even work. If I am connected to wifi the app will not work. No calls no messages neither incoming nor outgoing. Very disappointed. I will change jio to airtel
This app have a bug like, when I'm connected with headset (zebronics - comet headset), and whenever I call to anyone, I can't get ringing tone on headset and after attend tht call, both side can't able to receive voice . If once I muted and removed tht, It will work fine . So I can't do that continuly right? So there is issue in this app. Please try to fix this bug as soon as possible. Looking towards best results
This app works weirdly. When opened, it crashes to home then opens automatically back. When a call is made, screen freezes badly and error says can't initiate call BUT actually call is made and caller tune/ring tone is heard of receiver. Then when I want to drop/disconnect ongoing call, there's no option on the screen to press red button as app has stuck on the call history page! Wow!!!
Works some days and does not work some days. Problem 1. The wifi is connected but the app would say not connected. Then when we turn off and on the wifi in the phone the app would get connected. After a few hours it will be again disconnected on its own. Problem 2. This did not happen before but have been seeing this in the past few weeks. The app would not open at all. It would just keep showing the logo, even after restarting the phone. And suddenly it would start working.
I don't really like it. ○The worst part is the user interface. The app is not at all fluidic. ○It keeps on running in the background even if am not connected to JioFi. Uses up a lot of battery. ○Also unable to take incoming calls (The phone keeps ringing and then I have to open your app to pick up the call). ○Sometimes it just hangs after taking the call. I cannot even hang up the call in such cases. WORST APP FROM ALL ANGLES.
Not able to see whether call is dialled or connected. It's happening in the background. Once connected, cannot disconnect as the disconnect option not visible. Haven't you tested this before roll out? This is not a device specific or number specific issue as I saw below many complained about the same issue. It's a bug which needs to be corrected immediately.
This app is not fully functionally. It has a Call drop feature enable in it. It never connects the caller at the first place. No voice could be heard from the other side. Even it does not able to make a call in the first attempt. You have to dial for 3-4 times, then it will connect you with the other person. Please tell me how can i fix that, if it is possible to correct it in the app itself.
This app goes offline when I turn on Wi-Fi. By which my jio SIM can't even receive calls. so it doesn't support 4G and Wi-Fi to work parallel. Takes loads of time to connect And its full of ads. Top of that the interface is so narrow touch, it needs baby fingers to make a call. Lot of changes needed in the interface to work smoothly. Not professionally done! Phone model : ASUS ZenFone 2.
This app has gone worse in recent times. 99% of the time it shows offline. I had to clear all the data and restart the app every 30mins. Very frustrating and annoying. I have updated version, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still the same. Such a waste of time. Totally disappointed
As I opened the app to make a call it gave me no option but to update the old version, so I did and after that all my contacts are erased. I've restarted my device and the same is the issue. Also the 4g connection at times since 2 months is giving me issues and now this in the middle of my work. Pathetic! This is not what I expected from Jio after being a loyal customer for more than one and a half year.
This app crashes alot, when I go out and come back home in wifi range, it almost never connects back online, also after long time being out of home(not in wifi range) the icon in notification tray will disappear and the app keeps on crashing. Got very annoying so I uninstalled permanently. Developers please fix the bugs and launch a stable update. Also I don't think that it's because of my phone (it's a one plus 6T) so quite enough power to handle an app like that.
Very bad app. Hangs, need many unnecessary permissions, lags in call amd most importantly the main page to pick up the call sometimes appear while sometimes doesn't, you will hear the ringtone but no way to pick up the call. Also the number can't be used for messaging, well that's not a issue as it's a landline connection but still it would be a good feature if possible.
Works sometimes, but still needs lot of improvements. Many times the app just doesn't recieve calls, even though it's connected and running in BG with optimizations turned off. Also, the ability to automatically add a zero when calling a mobile no. by showing a prompt or atleast an option to copy the number by a long press on no. is a much needed feature for fixed line JioFiber users. A Dark mode and general UI improvement would also be nice.
Since the new update, whenever i call someone, the screen goes black and till someone hasn't cut the call, it remains black, and then again when someone calls me, it doesn't show on the screen whose calling, you can only hear the ringtone, so its impossible to pick up the call, since the screen goes black. I humbly request you to please fix this issue as soon as possible.
Seriously the worst jio app. Gets frequently disconnected and always asking for configuration. After configuring , it works for a while and gets disconnected again for no reason whatsoever. And I don't understand why it has to be the default messaging app to work. I seriously don't know what the Jio developers are doing. The problem isn't new and it's happening from last 6-8 months.
Very bad experience these days with this app because it shows 'connecting' or 'offline' most of the time and I am not able to make calls. The strange thing is that while it shows 'connecting' or 'offline', internet and youtube runs smoothly but not able to make calls. Worst experience. Needs to be fixed.
There are big issues in this app. No.1 When I call anyone and he picked up the call , nothing was happen just so the time . I have to try three or four times after then I able to talk with him. It was happen frequently. No.2 When I use my earphones to call, the outgoing call ringing very very loudly. I have also call customer service center to fix this issue but they said that it was okay, there is no problem. Please fix this two issues.....
I don't have Volte on my phone and so I have to use this app for calling or sending messages. but the problem is that it never stays connected even if the data is working. I can still use the internet but it keeps remaining offline so I can't receive or make any calls. I have to keep restarting the phone to make it connect and sometimes even that doesn't work.
Horrible experience! The jio fiber works 24/7 but 99 per cent of the time the app fails to work or initiate services. New configuration is detected but is unable to provide any services. Even after granting all the permissions to the app, it is unable to configure . I dont know that how many times I have reinstalled and the app but unfortunately no results.
