Nice app. A good replacement for popular apps like xender, shareit, etc. But a lot more has to be done. Many features have to be introduced. It would be nice if the interface would be a little better and eye catching. But that's optional. It would be really helpful if the speed of transfer is shown while the transfer of files. Overall a great app. Recommend its use over chinese apps like xender. More improvement will make it awesome!! 👍👍

This app is a replacement for the Xender, it uses wifi direct which is fine. Low app size, I like that. But the user interface is not very well made, you need to select files first before it can be transferred, I think that's the way wifi Direct works. Overall, I recommend it to everyone irrespective of the mobile carrier they are in. Let it be the new standard.

Great initiative from Jio. Kindly add more features like transferring files between "Android to Windows PC/ Mac" and vice versa. 'Xender' and 'SHAREit' already had that feature for long time. Hopefully, Jio will add it in the future updates. The QR code feature is also missing, because it's frustrating to type URL to transfer data between PC and Mobile. It has no advertisement which is a good thing. But the app is very buggy and unstable. I hope Jio fixes these issues in the next update.

Hello, the app looks good, and the file transfer speeds are also great, either between mobile phones or between PC and mobile phones. One issue I found is, when I select 'Files' while sending from my phone ( running on Android 10) it doesn't opens up, whereas in the other device running on Android 7.1 opens fine. And also you can't add more files when a file sending from mobile phone. Please check the issue. Otherwise the app is great. will update the review, once the issues are fixed.

I loved this app. And giving it 5 star won't be a wrong choice. But, there are few things to be corrected. 1. I cannot send and receive files from PC as it doesn't support Wi-Fi Direct. 2. I cannot share this app with my friends as the link provided doesn't works. 3. Needs UI improvement. 4. Add feedback option in app. 5. Phone replicate feature is missing. 6. An option to change avatar 7. Jio switch is still running even if I quit it.

It’s a very nice app. And is a very good alternative for SHAREit. Transfer speed is also good but needs to improve in some areas like in this app you should add music transfer and the most important thing you should add is video player within the app.so that it can work easily with iOS/android devices. Please note these requests and requirements. So that this app can be the no. One in India.

Kindly add "QR Code" scanning for "PC to Mobile transfer", because typing URL everytime is annoying. Showing error while connecting my android to Windows/Mac. Can't connect to hotspot. It might not have "PC to PC" transfer, hope Jio adds it in the future update. It has many bugs and instability which needs to rectified. Overall it's an awesome app from an Indian platform. The cross platform support should be more user-friendly with intuitive features.

The app interface is quite simple and easy to use only problem is when we receive a file, the file is stored in the same name as of the senders folder and is difficult to access as it follows a long path of subfolders . Please address this issue by making separate categories for each type of received files for easy accessibility . And sometimes while sending files the 'File' option doesn't open. Please fix it.

It's really the best alternative of shareit. Thanks to the developers! Actually it's even more faster than shareit. I will rate five stars if you add the following features: 1. Features to save files in sd card. 2. Features to select and send more files while a file is being transferred. 3. Features to search and select multiple files for sending.

This app is good and smallin size. But a problem I found is that the files transferred by it are difficult to find. I could not find 3 apps anywhere on the phone with which they were shared. It does not put any files in the jioswitch folder. There is no setting to set the path for the shared files (if you want to have them put in your preferred folder).This behaviour is weird so the developers should fix it.

Desperately wanted to switch over to jioswitch, but as simple as the process seems, the app is unable to start hotspot automatically and hence I am stuck on the page where it says "Enabling device discovery". I reinstalled the app, gave all the permissions from settings, but unfortunately it's stuck at the same message. Similarly when I try to share files with computer, it's stuck on "Creating hotspot" message and no URL displayed. Device model is Galaxy Note 10 +. Edit: Update solved the issue.

Earlier it was one of the best apps for sharing the contents but now it's creating a lot of problems. It just gets stopped at "Enabling device discovery.. please wait" and after waiting for half an hour as well, I am not able to share anything as it's stuck there only.

Transfer was from old to a new device, both Android but totally different brands. No unnecessary or overwhelming / irrretating add banners in your face. File selection was quick and to the point. The actual transfer of all selected items was smooth, fast & clean! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Will recommend this app for sure.

Its transfer rate is fast.... But the app crashes after every transfer and the files dont even go to the default jio switch folder instead goes to other folders. Also most of the video files gets corrupted after transfer that means it basically destroys the files in a way. I am a bit disaapointed but since its an indian product i will lul forward for this bugs to be fixed. In my opinion the developer should follow how the hike direct used to work. It was the fastest out there i have seen.

It's a very good app. The speed is also faster in compare to other sharing apps like share it & xender. But the only problem is while I share more than 500 mb of video, it is running intermittently on receiver's mobile, sometimes not running at all. Please solve this issue, so that it can be the best sharing app.

It needs many improvements. It feels like it's developed by a beginner. (1) If I want to share files then I can't, It goes back everytime. (2) I have over a 1000 of media in my phone so if I need to search any file, there's no such feature. (3) If I select files from my file manager or any other apps and then share it using JioSwitch, it says "Possibly unsupported file" & If I share it from the App then it will be shared. Can't write all the improvements the app really needs. Too much trouble!

First of all it was easy to use, single sending not multiple process. Speed is good very fast, faster than shareit, xender, filesgo, mxsender good to use. But it stuck in the middle of sending where I had to canceled and resent it. 14 gb data in just 5 minute. But wait a minute, when I watched the video, all the video is corrupted. Very disappointed 😞😞😞.

App is good and has greater transfer speeds than any other apps I've used. But there are few issues! First of all the file which the sender is sending wont get saved in JioSwitch folder on the receiver's end. Instead it gets saved in the same folder from which the sender is sending due to which it is tougher to find the received files and that feature makes no sense. Secondly, there is no option to choose b/w sd card or main storage for receiving files Please fix them guys

The app is smooth and does its work.. pictures and videos are transferred very fast. But the only problem is it saves all the files in the DCMI folder of phone which causes confusion and inconvenience.. it should be saved in separate folder.. thats a request for the developing team..that needs to be changed. Apart from that my experience was good with the app..

There is a weird bug when the app is running on my OnePlus 7T. When I want to select files to send and click on the view all option, the screen goes black, says please wait and nothing happens. It doesn't go to the file selection page. I didn't face this bug when trying to use the app on my older Moto G6. Please fix the bug. Thank you for the awesome data transfer speed and a good UI though.

It is a nice app faster than chinese apps -ShareIt and Xender. But I am giving 4stars as it has a bug-- when I try to transfer files,photos,etc. after selecting from whatsapp,file manager or any other app it shows an error -"Possibly Unsupported File" so I can send only if I have selected the files from JioSwitch which causes inconvenience. It irritates. Fix this bug and I will give a 5-Star. And the interface looks very old Improve it.

Good App, but a better file manager required, when selecting all files it is better if i get an option to select Device Storage or SD Card, instead of all folders getting listed in a single place. Team You have done a great job in designing a simple transfer tool now it's time to make it a best all rounder.. I really like the UI it was very clean and simple. But it has to be fix with lot of things, some times it take too much time to connect with friend, if we send a video or image it may work fine but if we send an App it doesnt work well. Hope you fixed ASAP.

Tried for 1 hour to connect to PC . Encountered following problems 1) The WiFi Hotspot created by phone doesn't allow PC to connect .The password is Shown invalid 2) It asks to scan QR code , as an alternative to connect with phone , but most Laptops don't have a Google Lens that can scan and connect thru QR code of phones . (Invariably , this is a Phone feature , pushed into a PC connectivity architecture, and hence , it's useless) 3) the PC to Phone connect feature is just not usable

This is a vary nice file sharing app I've ever seen. But when we try to receive a file or movie from desktop to mobile larger than 1.5 OR 2.0 GB, it stop receiving in end. It is the only issue I've found so far. Please fix this part.

The app is good but the issue is that sometimes when files are transferred they get corrupted on the receivers side. The image which is sent in form of packets is not reassembled properly on the receiver's end and so you have weird lines in the middle of the images that were sent. This issue remains even when one resends the image.ironically sending the same img via bluetooth resolves the issue. So its not a phone issue but app's inability to reassemble data packets. kindly fix this.
