Poor compared to the mobile browser version. Last update fixed the lack of push notifications, but introduced a new error where the community URL is not cached. Instead it is replaced with a link to the APK. The navigation of the app doesn't match the JIVE site I am using even remotely. It should at least include Groups (/places), Content (/content), and People (/people) which would make it usable for all organisations who self host JIVE.
Use the older version! Since upating to the newest version the app does not allow you to download files. I had to uninstall and install the previous version. Search for 'jive daily hosted apk' in google and install the previous version. Make sure you turn automatic app updates off or you will have the same problem all over again.
This app used to work. However it no longer allows you to download vital content such as work documents. This system error will need to be fixed with immediate effect! because I can't download files, which are from work, I have to stay behind to find out what must be done through the next few upcoming events. Jive Daily Hosted I can not stress this enough, fix this problem immediately!
Overall good app. But if I have to input my password when I log in or the app cannot remember and give me a list of the networks I am subscribed to, how are you any better than using a browser that will remember those things for me. Deal breaker. Give me a call, when you fix this. Uninstalling.
Shockingly, still no resolution to the unable to download problem. And also, notifications seem to have stopped working and I now need to log in pretty much every time I open the app, which I don't remember having to do before. UPDATE: 14 July 2019 still does not allow to download via the app on Android. Update 20 July 2019 and still unable to download. UPDATE: 10 AUG 2019 still no additional update?
There is clearly a failing from Jive with their inability to fix this bug everyone seems to be experiencing with downloading content. It seems to have been going on for months now. Jive please fix this issue as many rely on this service you provide.
Like actually really bad. Required to use this app for work, have been unable to download any documents on it since may. Seems to be an android exclusive problem. Rather not buy a whole new phone to avoid getting in trouble at work...please sort your app out
Unusable due to the download issues. If it is a known fault then it should have been fixed a long time ago 28th June and still nothing. No reply to emails sent, no update to fix download issues. Don't even bother getting this, just go through your browser. Just another company that promises but doesn't deliver.
Words fail me. Basic bugs still not fixed and features you take for granted on collaboration software absent or broken. Just frustrating to use and develop on.
says download failed.... can't view files. tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times. still the same. downgrade it to version 9.0.4 it was working.
Another unfortunate person forced to use this app for work, despite it being useless. Notifications don't work, neither do downloads. Please either fix the issues or take it off the app store so we don't have to suffer with a useless app.
unable to download documents from the app for months. the only way to do it is copy the link from the app of the document then paste it into the browser.
Well the app no longer let's you download so I now have to stay in work longer to get orders. Cheers for that. I then emailed them 2 weeks ago and still no reply sort it out. Bloody useless
The worst type of app going. Can't download on android and the new update keeps crashing. This is shockingly ****. Sort it out for once and all. God knowd why the forces usr it.
Crashes regularly and can't download any attachments. Unacceptable for an app that's supposed to replace paper.
the jive app works fine, i cant however post into a group or accept invitations to other groups, i dont know if its just me not lookong in the right place but i think the fact that it lacks functionality in this are it limits the app
half the time to download content from this app doesnt work, or it just randomly closes, very poorly put together app.
Unfortunately notifications don't appear on Android Phones which is proving to be a real pain, hopefully this can changenon future updates !? The developers are aware of this hopefully this will change
App says it's installed but nowhere to be seen. I've given it 12 months to improve, still an absolute waste of time. Don't bother.
since updating no fix for download issues and due to my employment this has significant bearing on my ability to perform the work. get it sorted please.
Dont get. Forced to use it for work an its a joke. If you want to read anything you have to download it. Then you can't delete it of your phone if it has been put on as read only.
Since beginning of May, unable to download any files from work. Get it sorted with an update please.
Was good but now doesn't download files. This is apparently a known fault but no sign of any fix as yet.

Worked absolutely fine on Android now for past 3 weeks I can't download any files. If so I would of given 5 Stars.
The app is OK but lacks some functions (bookmarking particularly) and seems to dislike a range of content types and oddly certain status messages, returning an error when the message is perfectly fine through a browser. Also it appears to add extra symbols / characters near links in Huawei phones ... also you can't seem to join groups or, if javing trouble, switch to browser from a particular post or message.
