JLPT test N2, N3, N4, N5 - Mytest

This is probably THE best way to study for the JLPT! I haven't taken the exam yet, but I feel much more confident since I got the app! It's not to teach you Japanese from scratch, but as long as you know that and use it just to study/support lessons from elsewhere, then you should absolutely get it! I especially love the listening practice! It's almost impossible to find listening practice suitable for beginners, so that alone makes the subscription worth the price! Support is fast and friendly!

Migii team has provided very fast and strong service support when I contacted them via email. I have no regret getting the premium and the app is really useful for advanced japanese learners who are trying to find the perfect app to improve their proficiency! The only slight issue would be that the English translation can be a little strange for english speakers. Nonetheless, it is an amazing app.

I haven't been using this for long but have already paid for premium, big fan of it! The reason I docked a star was due to the lack of kanji in the questions- the vast majority of text is in hiragana, which means I've found myself struggling to differentiate between what is actually a word, and what is a particle or connective etc etc. I've seen kanji in a different exercise with the reading above it, so I know the app is capable of it, I'd just love the option at least for comprehension. :)

This app is good for helping me to learn kanji with an easy way but everytime i went to vocabulary and pressed the kanji and i want to see detail of it then the apps keep closing by it self, please fix this problems... the app is really badass for feee user like me, but the force close bug damn, how we gonna study further? Horrible! For $30 dollars, you don't get what you pay for. Lots of bugs! I answer the quizzes but most of the time, the next questions get lost so I have to start over! I want my $30 back!

Actually usefull and I end up doing a lot of work without even noticing. It keeps my brain stimulated without overloading or boring it.

Ads block screen content in the free version, and the x button is so small it's impossible to close an ad without opening the pop up in your browser, which is annoying. Not sure I want to pay for an app where I had to report the missing yomikata for 4/20 Kanji in the first quizz. Could be great but hard to trust the kunyomi vs onyomi yomikata being correct, so I might learn the wrong one.

Very complete and well designed app. Many ways of learning and testing oneself. 👍

Cute. Do the tests while on the bus. Good for strengthening what you have studied.

Has helped me loads. Though some questions tend to repeat, there are plenty of variety.

I really appreciate the thought that's gone into this. The explanation tab is excellent. I enjoy this app to test me with more unpredictability and so have a more reliable indication of my level. The roadmap feature is great, but it's a shame it's fixed at 90 days regarding of how far along you are on your current level. Ideally it should have a few sliders. Shame is not on the iOS version either

I like it and enjoy practicing with it every now and then, so overall a very nice app. However I don't use it enough to warrant the price, it's too expensive for me especially if I have to pay the price again every year. Often the easiest vocabulary are explained in the explain -> vocab section instead of the harder ones that I would like to know more about.

This program is easy to use, fun and effective. I highly recommend it. I changed my review from a 2 to a 5 after being contacted by the company. They didn't reply to my original email, but replied to this review. I really like the program, but was I tried to contact the developer through the email on their homepage but never got a response. That is why I rated it a 2. Now that they have responded (their lack of response was the reason for the low score), I am changing it to a 5. The reason I contacted them was that the kanji were too small on my smartphone and it was difficult to tell some similar characters apart. The suggested I can use an Android simulator on my PC, but actually I discovered there is a font size setting under Setting - Display setting - font size. This solved the problem.

After using the app for a few days I'd say the content is good but the app crashed a few times when I was doing the road map test which required me to take the test 3 times before I could complete it, on my Galaxy S21 with the Exynos cpu. The next issue is that the road map does not sync between devices even when signed in so I can't continue from my tablet when I'm at home. An improvement I'd like to see is the inclusion of a tablet that allows using the app in a landscape orientation.

I encountered questions that don't match the choices, specially in listening exercises. I reported it every time. Another thing, I downloaded all exercises from download manager but it seems that the app is still using my internet. I suggest you to give priority to the downloaded files because some of the images and sound files would not load completely; or at least give us a way to reload those. When switching JLPT level, the stats are not reloading until app restart. please fix it.

It's a pretty nice app, but I've been having a lot of problems with it crashing, and most recently, I'm simply unable to open the app at all, even after reinstalling it.

Great App for practicing the exam. Nice to have the 90 days challenge and customer service is prompt and friendly. Just two issues: 1. I'm using traditional Chinese to learn Japanese and there's quite a lot of translation mistake in Chinese. (From some sentences or the app menu) 2. The tablet version (I'm using iPad) doesn't have the 90 days route as the mobile version. So I can only practice on iPad but do the daily challenge on my phone. But so far so good.

Its great for studying for the JLPT exam. Its nice to get use to text questions. But in terms of actually learning the kanji and grammar its not helpful. Example: I've done the road map tab for a while but it during the practice keeps showing me the same easy kaniji 3 or 4 times during a set of 10 then during the "examination" it shows me 4 kaniji its never had me practice before. And the flashcards need an option to shuffle them. I don't want to memorize the order.

I've tried several apps to complement my Japanese learning journey and this is by far the most comprehensive. Well worth paying the subscription for. The type of practices is diverse and varied. The interface is considered and easy to use. All aspects of the JLPT process have been taken into account in the provision of practices. Very satisfied with this app. It's not perfect, with small bugs here and there, but nothing that future updates can't fix.

I upgraded to premium, but my 2 devices are not syncing well. I have done practice for 2 days, but another device doesn't sync this progress. It seems I need to log out first and log in after. Please improve this. And I want to look through my answers for the evaluations, but I couldn't find it. I wish they also have better explanation for grammar.

Really like this app for practicing. Like someone else had mentioned before, there are questions from higher grades in the lower grades, which is great. It would be nice though if it says the grade in the explanation. There's a lot of grammar to learn in each grade and it can be overwhelming when you think you've learned everything and then see something you don't know.

Overall this is a very good application to exercise before a test and check your preparation, but It tends to get easier over time, since the tests are limited and repetitive. The "Road to exam" could probably benefit from some different grammar exercises here and there, cause reaching day 90, it's easy to forget stuff done in day 1.

Unable to open and keep popping up asking me to close app

Looks like it would be a useful app, but every time I try to do the "Evaluate" part, it freezes.

Bought the annual premium subscription but premium features are still locked. It's a good app so I will change my review once this is fixed. EDIT: They responded rather quickly to the issue and fixed it. But the fact that this is even an issue to begin with prevents me from giving 5 stars.

Experience is good but very less trial exam can attempt bcz of pay service is very high

Annoyed pop up after update and sign in, it keeps popping up with the roadmap. Unable to select other option than that, it just force you to select the roadmap, unable to close the pop up. Have to uninstall and reinstall the app, after sign in, the exercise and progress that I done have all gone. 😢😭

I like the concept but there's just too many mistakes. I've probably done over 100 N1 practice questions so far and on multiple occasions chose an answer I thought was correct that was marked wrong by the app. I confirmed these answers with native Japanese speakers on HelloTalk as well. It's frustrating because these wrong answers confuse me and have probably set me back hours of study time. With that said, I regret buying annual premium and will stick with test prep books instead.

Please fix bugs. All my correct answers were marked wrong. Marks option 1 as right answer by default. Also, the words that are supposed to be in katakana were written in hiragana. Worth every single penny if bought. Exceeded my expectations. The tests are quite beneficial. A must buy app if you are looking for everything at one place.
