Super buggy. Can't upload resume, had to enter certs multiple times with it not showing repeatedly- got frustrated tried to remove my account and start over. Wouldn't even let me do that (API error)....
There are far better job sites. The majority of times, that I either respond to a notification or access the site on my own, the results are dated, do not adher to my profile or for jobs that I would never apply for. Additionally, I have been getting the same notification, three times a week for more than a month, for a job that doesn't meet my profile. Not exactly a Careerbuilder way to run a business.
Terrible since it won't accept that I've uploaded a resume so just says uoad resume and I have two and set to public. Also applied for job and when you open that under jobs applied it has big green button saying apply for job. This app feels like a mess and I just started using it. They must not do any QA or have many users. Only forced to use for that one job.
Buggy!!! I cant upload my resume no matter what format it is. I've even tried to upload it from different sources. What is the point of using an app for hobs if I can't use my resume??
Couldn't upload my resume for days , when I tried building a resume it wouldn't even let me put what I wanted . If I could give this app a 0 I would.
The idea if having CB as an app is genius. However, it won't upload my resume therefore its not so genius at all if you can't use it???
Limited results. Same job title in other job apps give 50-100 results. CB app only gives 3 results and they're random jobs not related to my search term.
Almost all of the communication I received was not for viable jobs. It seemed more like a scam than a job app.
Signed back up with CB & I have begun receiving so many scam tests about jobs it's non stop! Now I can't seem to delete my account!! STAY AWAY!!!
This App not able to upload our resume. And there is no feature to look for job listings. It's totally too bad design, and unable to usability this app. If you are able to fix it, it's fine. Otherwise, totally waste of time to use this App anymore. Hope, you should fix this. And we look forward to see this App with new features and usability. Thank you.
Very glitchy and slow. No other job app is as buggy as this one, and it keeps telling me my profile isn't complete because i haven't uploaded a resume. I have uploaded 2, and they show up when applying, so im not sure what the problem is. But this is an app I wosh I could use more, but it's just so frustrating to deal with the glitches.
I have been harassed all day by staffing agencies and consulting firms from India. I have had to upgrade the spam blocker with my wireless carrier and block a lot of emails and phone numbers. These people are annoying and they aren't trying to help Americans. They are filling quotas that they make commission off of.
Seems to be very user friendly oriented & really tries to offer as much help as possible when building/ creating a professional resume. I really learned a lot from this app, so please keep up the free features & the welcoming, easy to understand web design of this app. Worth the time it takes to complete the pre-filled resume builder.
For Careerbuilders to be as big as it is their app is awful..it lags badly, freezes and closes on its own. I feel like I apply to the same job multiple times because there is no way of knowing I already applied, it will let me apply 10 times. For some reason I cannot enter my city, an "s" is added to my city name and I cannot remove it in the search. I'll use other apps this one seems antiquated.
I've been using the app for years. However, when I logged in today my resume was no longer attached to my profile and all my other info was gone. It won't populate any openings in my field even though I live in major city with high population. Based on recent reviews it looks like they've allowed the app to go under without maintenance. Will uninstall and use other platforms that actually work.
The mobile app is painfully slow to load anything, even when Im connected to wifi.
Wonky and not intuitive. Not much instruction.
There is lag especially when attempting to readjust the boundaries of the map. I have tried multiple times to set the distance to the appropriate amount manually on the map itself. I see the drop down options jump from 10 to 30 miles, but ideally there would be some designations in between.
Do not associate with this site or app. Its all spam. And trying to delete your account is a hassle. Zero stars
I'm not giving anymore stars until you bring back Monk-e-mail. Preferably in its own app.

As soon as I setup an account on career builder I started receiving 3 calls a day from scammers. They sell your information, don't make an account!
Do any actual employers look for potential employees through you, or is it just all scammers? Seriously, the amount of employment scammers that contacted me literally every day was insane, and all of them admitted to finding me through you. I had to deleted all of my info from my profile to get them to stop bothering me, since attempts to delete my account never work. Do a better job vetting the "employers", especially since this seems to be happening to a lot of the job seekers.
Extremely frustrating app. Still can't upload my resume in supported format to the app. Keeps saying to try again in a few minutes. Selecting dates when trying to build a resume is aggravating, especially when your can't just enter a date, your have to scroll through the monthly calendar to find the date. Any idea how stupid this is when you have THIRTY EIGHT YEARS of work history? I've been emailing support about the issue but they do not respond. Customer service unresponsive.
